When we arrived, there is still a glass pane broken on the entry door. The repair is a piece of plexi glass riveted into the door. The door does lock, but the deadbolt is broken & can not be locked. The linoleum floors were dirty, I took a wet paper towel to confirm this, there was dust & crumbs behind the coffee pot and toaster. There is a garbage disposal tat stopped working right after I turned it on.... maybe they will fix it?
Now, I knew the cabin wasn't updated and I was ok with that. We wouldn't be there much and just needed a place to sleep, so I am not in any way expecting a "modern" cabin. Walking through here is what I see.... There are two different carpets (both never looked cleaned) between the living room and breakfast nook. There is a section of carpet ripped/cut out by the sliding door to the left of the wood burning stove. The carpet is frayed going up the stairs. When you get upstairs, there are two carpets there as well, and neither cared for. There was also a stone table that was broken in half. The beds are both sunken in the middle, very worn and even my teenager would not sleep on either because they were so uncomfortable. Even the beds downstairs were super uncomfortable and we all left sore. This place has so much potential if the owners would just invest a little. New mattresses, carpet maybe fix the counters so they are not showing they are falling apart at the bar end and replace the old gross couches that are falling apart.

Great home, neighborhood and value. Maybe not the most private on the top floor, but perfect for kids or close friends.

It’s a good location, close to the east side and the view is great. Well stocked with towels and soap.
Overall, we were a little disappointed in how run down it was.
The entry door had a broken glass section that was covered with plexiglass and the deadbolt knob was broken off. Jamb seemed to be repaired at some point. Didn’t feel great staying at an unfamiliar place with a door in that condition.
No firewood provided.

I won't use a property again managed by Vacasa. After several attempts for consolidating 2 back to back reservations made way in advance, the nightly rates were not respected when I simply shortened the stay. We pay fees on top of fees when VRBO uses another management company. Not doing that again. VRBO implies working directly with owners. This is not the case and despite rates shown when searching the actual costs are much higher.

We love the glass window where we can lookout and enjoy the scenery. The place is very close to the winter activities which we loved. Very cozy, we love it.

Cozy cabin in Snoqualmie. Fit four kids and four adults for a long weekend. Great location for snow play. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the Hyak Sno-park and Nordic trails.
We stayed plenty warm with the furnace and wood stove.

Such a great Cabin. Absolutely beautiful. Very clean. We had such a magical experience for my sons 18th Birthday. Bless the owners for allowing families to enjoy vacations there. I will absolutely be booking again.

Only complaint was the coffee maker didn’t work. Other than that it was a great old school ski cabin. It would have been even better with snow but we were a few weeks too early. The wood stove was amazing!

We really liked this wonderful cabin.
Our 4 year old daughter enjoyed the entertainment -- the pool table and the foosball game.
Authentic unique place.
Feels like visiting your grandma or auntie. Feels like someone's home. No 'hotel feeling'.
Breathtaking nature (lakes, forest, tunnel, hiking trails).
The place has the vintage / rustic / antique / retro vibe.

It is a family friendly place. It has no internet and limited cell phone coverage, yet a good place.

We have great vacation in this place. But it definitely needs a good cleaning

Overall things were great, it was obvious that a cleaning wasn’t done before we got there. Nothing a vacuum couldn’t fix, and some wiping down of the counters.
Beautiful area, beautiful view. Was a nice experience

We had a great time! The pool table and foosball kept the kids entertained, and the location was fantastic. It's got old school charm.

We came from Texas to visit family in Seattle and wanted a few days with a good chance to enjoy some snow. We definitely got snow! We luckily arrived just ahead of the best Dec. snowfall the area had seen in quite sometime.
Our guys enjoyed snowboarding at the near by Summit Snow area and the ladies enjoyed staying cozy and trying a little snowshoeing at the cabin.
I was a little worried by previous reviews about supplies and cleanliness, but the management has done a great job rectifying whatever happened in the past. We had plenty of towels, soaps, kitchen items, etc. I loved that housekeeping left us a brand new sponge for kitchen. I appreciated that. They were also very quick to respond to questions we had.
While not new, everything was clean. The space was great for our group of 7 and we could have easily accommodated more. The kids and adults loved the pool and foosball tables.
The woodstove made everything feel cozy. You will need to bring your own wood, and we were glad we did.
We ended up being snowed in our second day and due to road conditions decided to leave a day early as we were worried about the roads getting worse (they did). If you are traveling in winter you definitely want 4 wheel drive or chains (they tell you in the description).
This was the perfect snowy getaway and allowed us to enjoy the wonderful snow and then head back to Seattle and not have to contend with it the whole week.
Definitely pack plenty of food and drinks as there isn't much near by. There is a convenience store near the ski resort and a couple of small restaurants.
This is a great space for a small group or family and I am sure the area is just as beautiful in spring and summer. We loved the secluded feel of the area while still being fairly close to civilization. There are several trailheads nearby and the ski resort offers snowboarding, skiing, and I believe there is tubing nearby as well.
We would definitely rent this cabin again!

Nice weather while we were there. The place smelled very musty. Did not use the downstairs due to smell uncleanness and furniture was rundown and was not clean. Definitely first and last visit to this place. I had previously read the feedback from others who had stayed. I figured that the issues that others had would have been taken care of. Blankets, bed sheets. nothing smelled fresh.....perhaps no one had been in the place for a while..

Overall, this is a lovely place to have a nice weekend. It is walking distance to the lake and some trails, which was nice. There were actually more beds than what was listed in the listing, but no hideabed that we could find? Only issues were: 1) It wasn't very clean. The floors still had junk that a vacuum can clean. 2) There was only 1 roll of toilet paper for 8 of us, so we had to go to the convenience store to get toilet paper. 3) There were absolutely no kitchen towels (dish towels, hand towels, etc.) So, we had to use the bathroom towels for kitchen use
Besides those things, it was a lovely stay!

Lovely cabin in the snow
Kendall place is a perfect place to spend time in the snow. Is well located, has everything we may need and they helped us to take the snow from the road! Thanks for the awesome service.

The property was a little dated (as advertised), but it had everything we could have asked for, including tons of space, a pool table, and a woodstove. The stove came in handy during our trip when the power at the Summit went out for a day. The stove kept the place plenty warm and the property manager even brought is some extra wood which was awesome. We would stay there again.

Good location, though a bit older house
Lots of snow in the winter. There is no WiFi in the house. Cell reception is bad when Hyak Sno-Park and Summit East are filled. Good for those who want to ski and have beer afterwards. Not so much for those who like connectivity.

nearly perfect chalet
comfortable home with a well-stocked kitchen. we thoroughly enjoyed the pool table as well. the only drawbacks were that all but one of the beds were pretty uncomfortable, and the upstairs shower appears to have been out of order for quite some time now. a few small improvements would make this a 5 star stay.

We liked the location- in the mountains near all of the beautiful hiking trails. But the house - not so much. It was in horrible condition- filthy and in disrepair. When I spoke to the area manager they stated they were aware of some existing issues. Don’t stay here if you like a clean place to hang out with your family and friends.

The cabin was a little old and run down. The microwave didn’t work. The cabinets were broken, The couches were old and run down. You could feel the wood through the “cushions” not much cushioning left for comfort.
The fire alarm was beeping when we got there. I called at 6:30 pm, And two times later In the evening. We had to sleep the first night with the fire alarm beeping. The Vacasa people (the company managing the house) told us we could fix it ourselves if we wanted it fixed sooner than the next morning. We couldn’t find the fire alarm. The garage was a mess, and unsafe for us to try to fix the alarm. The maintenance person came to fix it the next morning. Apparently there were Two alarms, one was disabled, and the other one continued to beep. When I called about that one the next day A “ticket” was made and we never heard back from them and they never came in the Morning to fix it like we were told on the phone.
About half the windows didn’t have screens on them, so getting a breeze without bugs was impossible. A mouse trap snapped on my sister from under the bed when she was looking for her socks. We didn’t see any mice, just bugs.
This is definitely a place for people that like to party, that don’t care about quality. If you’re looking for a place to trash, and spill things on the carpet , it’s a great place for that.
I wouldn’t step Barefoot on the carpet, or the deck. The deck has sharp things sticking out of it every inch or so along the beams There is no railing on the front steps, so it’s not good for elderly people. The railing going dow the back stairs was loose and unsafe.
The pool table was nice. We enjoyed that and the upstairs balcony. There are lots of lakes and hikes close by. Skiing would be great, you can just walk over. There are plenty of towels and bedding.
There wasn’t a ball for the foosball table, that was disappointing.
We won’t be staying here again, or at any place that Vacasa manages. The people were kind of nice on the phone. Nicole and Christine were helpful, but the follow through for the second fire alarm call was non existent. Vacassa cancelled our original booking at another location, without telling us. We still had the booking in VRBO, so when it was getting close to time to leave for our vacation we found that we didn’t have a booking, even though VRBO sent us the “ your trip is close” letter. The communication from Vacassa was very poor. We had to scramble to find another place for our family vacation, there was slim pickings, since it was 4th of July weekend. Now we know why this was one of the only places left. After our cancelled booking I asked Vacassa to help us find another place, they said there was nothing, and really didn’t make an effort to help us. They didn’t even even tell us about the Kendall place , we found it ourselves on VRBO. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want something nice and quality.

7 out of 10. Nothing special, gets the job done.
I'll preface this by saying I'm a 28 year old guy that stayed here in January with six other friends of mine while skiing at Snoqualmie over the weekend.
PROS- Easy to get in the house, pool table and speaker for music.
CONS- no wifi (better cell service if you have verizon compared to AT&T), no cable, outdated appliances. The upstairs mattresses are very hard and uncomfortable and there are several lamps that don't work and the overall lighting in the house isn't great. The kitchen garbage can was full upon arrival and I wasn't able to find a fresh garbage bag in the house. Overall we had a good time but there could definitely be some improvements.

Excellent location, a lot of winter activities within walking distance. Plenty of things to do inside once sun goes down.. When we stayed the kitchen facet didn't have water. When we called in there was no one to come fix it due to Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Few kitchen pots were not clean and damaged. There was a leak from the upstairs bathroom which dripped water on our bed downstairs. Some equipment need an up update. Did not feel very comfortable for the price we paid. Towels and bedding were clean, but we didn't use due to COVID.
