Nice and big! 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms! Clean! The rental company was easy to deal with as well.

Overall, the location of the home was great. A corner lot. Close to heavenly village. The house heater worked great for cold nights. However, bedrooms beds were broken in 2 rooms. The room at the entrance had 2 twin beds side by side to appear as one bed. We tried to turn on the tv for the kids but there was no cable and the tv was outdated so we could not just connect to Netflix etc. it was connect to a DVR and VHS but also did not work. The refrigerator was power off when we arrived so it took all night to cool so we can store our food, even the few days we stayed it never reached a temperature to keep the food from getting soiled. I did contact the host but did not hear back until weeks after! This house is good with space for large families but I hope they get it up to date to make it more comfortable.

House was very functional, nice open floor plan, great price. It worked very well for us. It almost had all the amenities you would need. Clean bathrooms, towels, lines, kitchen. Great driveway, but suggest backing into it. Backing out can get tricky with the cars driving up Kingsbury or turning into the street, as the driveway entry/exit is located on the corner.,
It is located on Kingsbury, so the road noise is very loud, especially at night (use the fans, bring white noise and use at night to drown out the cars and motorcycles driving over the grade). No coffee machine. If you need your coffee, I suggest bringing something to make coffee or drive down the grade 3 miles for a coffee.

Strange mix of good and bad.
Strange mix of good and bad. Mostly bad … very shabby and dingy.
The kitchen and bathrooms are not new but in good condition.
The house was mostly clean. Not dusty. Clean bathrooms. Clean kitchen. Clean white sheets and towels.
Very clean except outdoor furniture that needed to be cleaned before being used and a large spot on the guest bedroom carpet that may have been an old dried up spill (?) It was hard and crusty. Kinda gross.
Old carpet. Old wall paper. It badly needs a coat of paint. Old over-used furniture. It was furniture that one would expect to find in a weekly motel.
Old motel style bedspreads. Very old (and kinda gross) curtains that covered glass doors in one room.
There were no knobs on some of the table lamps. Very weird.
Busy street and no view.
We were willing to pay the higher cost because it was walking distance to a wedding. But it was far too expensive for the condition of the property.

Ok guys place
The place is a bit worn down, carpet old, and place as a whole needs some TLC. Would be nice to have some more kitchen utensils( cutting board, better knives etc). Also hot tub was pretty dirty, we did I not use it do to that.
With that said GREAT location to Tahoe and surrounding mountains. Great place for us to bring our boys and have a fun guys weekend. Would not bring moms to this place. 6 guys fit comfortably, you could push it to 8 but anymore than that would not work well.
BTW, really need to replace all the pool sticks and ball rack. Also BBQ grill should be updated.

Nice Location, Spacious House... with some Quirks
Was a beautiful location though a bit close to a high traffic road.
There were several small issues that led to me being bothered... a bit more annoying was the app for the property (on the card in the living room) said to email or call for issues. I emailed multiple times about little things... never heard back anything.
Pros:
Great location
Nice house
Sweet hot tub
Good wifi
Lots of space, rooms, beds
Nice master bathroom
Lots of parking
Not far from South Lake Tahoe
Cons:
When we arrived there was ice across the floor in all entry ways to the front deck which was a bit slippery to get across. I would have thought it should have been cleared, salted, or covered before arrival.
Had trouble finding various things for the rec room/garage. For instance: I couldn't find the pool triangle, then found it behind a large garbage can. Never found a stick for the billiards bridge, nor chalk. For the ping pong table top, we had trouble getting the net to stay attached and had to dig around the garage to find ping pong balls/paddles. To make matters worse there was also some broken glass in the corner of the room.
The deck in the backyard had some dog poop in the corner when we arrived... that was rather yucky.
The door to the oven wouldn't stay closed properly, so the light in the oven would always be on.. not a big deal since it still worked, but was a bit odd.
Couldn't figure out how to turn the fireplace on in the living room.
One of the bedroom cable boxes didn't appear to be working properly and would give an error on tuning to any channel.

Family snow time
We had a great couple of days. The back of the house had amazing little hills that with the snow, made for some very fun sledding and snow time. However, the dishwasher, washing machine, toaster oven, stove, couch, lighting.... all half working or broken and the jacuzzi was off limits which was not disclosed beforehand. Very dirty and needs a lot of work. Beds too. We had fun but care is needed.

Great value and location
Overall great value for location and amount of space you get.
Here are the positives:
Nice big open kitchen with lots of pots and pans. Plenty of detergent provided under sink. Plenty of toilet paper, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Plenty of towels, extra linens, and extra blankets.
Hot tub was great. Make sure to get the code for the lock. Bathrooms are very nice; appear to be recently remodeled.
Backyard is awesome, and you can have your own sledding hill for fun! Driveway is plenty big for a few cars, and there was a snow plow that came to clear out the snow.
Here's what could have been better and is easily fixed to make this place amazing:
The kitchen needs oven mits and reorganization. The dishwasher needs to be bolted down so it does not tilt forward when opened. The water to the ice machine and fridge water was turned off leaving no way to make ice in the freezer. At least a couple ice trays could be provided.
Cleanliness could be much better. We have already discussed this issue with vacasa and they are remediating it as well as refunding the cleaning fee. The tv has 7 remotes which is asinine. The washing machine would stop mid cycle full of water and would not spin out. We couldn't figure out how to turn on the gas fireplace. It appeared as if the controller had some cables disconnected.
Beds in one room are very uncomfortable and sag in the middle. Water gets very hot, be careful!
All in all, our family had a great stay and hope to come back again!
