About this house rental
Enjoy year round sports in the area - snow tubing, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowshoeing, ice fishing in the winter and golf, fishing and hiking the remainder of the year - followed by a fire in the outdoor fireplace. Large family groups can gather around the big table at the end of the day to share memories and food. Quiet morning coffee on the 4 season porch allows expansive views of the lake. The cabinets are stocked with puzzles and books for all ages as well as numerous games.

The cabin was great for our two families. We really enjoyed the paddle boards and the lake. The kitchen is perfect for meals. Beds are very comfortable.

The house is lovely, comfortable and the outdoor spaces are fantastic. Beautiful choices to be in sun or shade, on the dock or on the deck - just a lovely, lovely place. It was quiet (this was pre-Memorial Day weekend) with loons, eagles, herons and the sound of peepers at night. Kitchen was fully stocked, bathrooms were great and the beds comfortable. It's a newer house so good windows with screens great for air circulation. They also have an outdoor fireplace that was so comfortable and we felt better and safer with a contained fire. There were 4 women, so we each had our own room and there were charging ports, rechargeable lights. Loved that the focus is on the environment with limited plastics, recycling, cloth napkins. Can't say enough about the place and I suspect we will be back and each of us might be back with family members.

This was a great place to stay for sitting on the dock or patio with our morning coffee, listening to the loons, taking a walk, and working on many jigsaw puzzles. The house was very comfortable and clean. It was just the setting that we needed to escape from our stressful lives. We loved staying there.

This was a 4 night getaway for 5 women friends - what a perfect stay all around! The lakeside home is beautiful, with a beautiful lake view and surrounded by woods; the drive through the woods to the home from the main road is heavenly. We were lucky enough with our timing to enjoy the fall colors. It's close to both Nisswa and Pequot Lakes. We had dinner in Nisswa (excellent food at Main Street Ale House) and cooked great meals in the cabin. The kitchen was very well stocked! The seating in the living room is quite comfortable, as were the beds. Our host was super responsive when we had questions. I would definitely book this place again. Kudos to the hosts!

My wife and I were in charge of planning a 3rd annual sibling weekend getaway for my side of the family and chose the Nisswa area as we had never been there before. We picked this listing as it fit all our needs and appeared to be a beautiful location, and it did not disappoint. Great spaces to gather and visit and a gorgeous view of Middle Cullen Lake to enjoy with our morning coffee. We would definitely return again!

We loved our stay of 3 couples at this cabin. We enjoyed meals in the kitchen, a wonderful living room space, and the bedrooms were great for our group! Everything was great and worth being off the beaten path a little!

We rented this beautiful cabin -- and it was beautiful -- that had a gorgeous fireplace. It was one of our only criteria for rental and we learned the day we arrived that the fireplace could not be used due to insurance issues. Understandable, but we were upset because we hadn't learned of the issue until we arrived. The information for accessing the property and about the fireplace didn't arrive until we were on our way, and I didn't read it carefully enough or I would have called immediately. Truthfully, if I hadn't been so disappointed and angry, we would have stayed. The property is gorgeous, well equipped and nicely located. The snow had been plowed, making the property easily accessed.

The cabin was warm and cozy! The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, and there were several spaces to gather and play games. The view of the lake was beautiful, and we appreciated the environmentally-friendly toiletries and toilet paper. Great communication and perfect location! 10/10, highly recommend!

We had hoped to use the grill but it was out of gas. Also, we thought the outdoor fireplace would be available but it was iced over and had a lot of snow covering it, so we couldn’t access it. We enjoyed the view and the accommodations. We had everything we needed to have a quiet and relaxing weekend. Cudos to whoever decorated. Nicely done.

It was a beautiful property right on the lake. It was the perfect size for 6 adults and 3 little kids. It was a great cabin to get out to do some ice fishing, skating, and sledding.

The cabin was sparkling clean, well-appointed, good sized bedrooms, many amenities, and great spaces for visiting and relaxing inside and outside. The kitchen had everything we needed for the many meals we prepared there.

2 bath rooms worked well for 4 adults to get ready for day.
Kitchen well stocked with dishes and pot and pans. Large dining table and island for sitting around.
Only suggestion would be to maybe have some paper plates available or suggest to bring Use glass plates provided and had to run dishwaher daily No big deal !
Would recommend this place to families to use or groups who are looking for a relaxing place to go for time away.
The one bedroom had 3 twin size bunks and one double bunk in it plus lots of space besides. Loft area great for 2 people to sit at or play area for kids.

This was a weekend getaway for the family, ages 29 to 81! Location was ideal, easy access to Nisswa for shopping and Breezy Point for golf. The cabin layout was perfect. The bedroom on the main level was perfect for my mom so she didn't have to make the stairs, but she did make the stairs to see the lake view from the loft, so pretty! We also took advantage of the outdoor fireplace in the evening, and use of the kayak and paddleboards during the day. This home had so much to offer and we certainly hope to come back for another stay!!

Fabulous winter weekend!
We enjoyed this great gathering space with our adult kids and their partners. Kitchen and entire space was perfect for meals together, game playing and conversation The setting was idealic for many walks, snowshoeing and loved being able to walk down to the xcountry ski trail for daily ski. Thanks for the use of your home for a wonderfully relaxing and gorgeous winter getaway!

Not exactly what we expected
The cabin is great - plenty of sleeping accommodations and areas to gather in. The first disappointment was the dock not being in. Took some work to get the kayaks in because of this. Also hoped to sit on the dock and read or watch the loons and couldn't do that. The upstairs toilet was broken. The property is not private and the fire pit outside is on the side of the house (not near the lake). Felt like we were on top of neighbors during bonfire. Dogfood bowl with food was left on counter near wine glasses. At least two of the six beds we used were not made. Had to hunt for sheets and make own bed. Felt like we were staying at someone's cabin that we didn't know - not like other VRBOs that seem better.

It was the right place for us- 7 adults and a teen. Perfect rooms distribution, great four seasons porch and a beautiful view to the lake. Very well equipped kitchen, bathrooms and nice grill and out outdoor fireplace.Easy access from highway, close to Nisswa and golf courses of the area. We definitively will be back to this place, we loved it!
