About this house rental
A relaxing Arizona vacation awaits you at this charming 3 bedroom home with backyard oasis, which is sure to be your favorite place to relax and unwind. Enjoy the gated, private pool and in-ground spa. Enjoy a lazy summer day in the hammock, cool off and relax under the pool umbrellas or sit pool-side in the lounge chairs. Enjoy family BBQ's at our outdoor kitchen with grill, eating bar and outdoor dining table. Spend time chatting by the firepit on cooler nights or get in some golf time on our putting green!
All bedrooms have queen beds and plenty of storage space and the master bathroom has an oversized walk-in shower. Living Room, Master BR & BR2 have flat screen smart TV's with a variety of channels available.
Wi-fi download speeds up to 1000 Mbps (1 Gbps).
The well appointed dining room is equipped with a table for six, as well as a sideboard with wine, whiskey and cocktail glasses, ice buckets, bartender kit and a Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville Blender!
This home is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected by our cleaning staff between bookings and basic supplies including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hair dryers are provided.
We do love dogs and welcome well-behaved and house-trained dogs (1 dog per booking).
A few items to note:
The pool / hot tub can be heated for an additional fee between October 1st - April 30th ($300 for visits up to 7 nights).
To maximize guest comfort, our thermostat is set to HEAT the home to 68 and COOL to 73 Deg F. The temperature settings will not be modified.
Propane tanks are included in the grill & firepit, however propane fuel is guest's responsibility.
The home is equipped with a security system and we encourage our guests to use the system during your stay.
No more than six people on the property at ANY time. (Parties and large events are not allowed.)
This home is located in the fly-over zone for Luke Air Force Base, and you will occasionally hear the sounds of freedom from the jets training. Although we enjoy this special treat, this may be an item to consider prior to booking. We will not issue refunds due to complaints from the jet noise.
To provide an additional layer of security for our guests, this property features seven exterior security cameras consisting of a front door Ring doorbell, one camera over front driveway, two cameras on the east side of home, two cameras on west side of home and one camera inside the garage. There are NO cameras inside the home.

Our family of 4 had a lovely stay! The backyard is large with a fabulous pool and hot tub, hammock, eating areas, and putting green. The house was spacious and we especially enjoyed the game table and theater seating. Jo Ann was an outstanding host with excellent communication throughout our stay. Thank you for making our Thanksgiving holiday one to remember!

My family enjoyed our stay at this property. The backyard alone made our stay. The house was very clean and well maintained. The owner was responsive to our questions. The reservation process was a little onerous, but can understand the need for all the requested information. Interior of the house is quite dark during the day, but I'm sure this helps with the electric bill in hot AZ. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The house and property were amazing. I stayed there recently while in Arizona visiting my son and his family. It was within close proximity of their house which was a key factor in choosing where to stay. The home is absolutely beautiful and the backyard was amazing with all the amenities. Communication with Joann was extremely fast and she was so helpful. I will definitely choose to stay here again!

We wanted to enjoy swimming, golfing, BBQ and basically hang out w/ family and this house was perfect. The outside space was exceptional and lucky for us the weather was awesome.
The house was nice, clean and organized.
For children, this house has a fence around the pool area, making it a safe option. The pool has a large first step soaking area w/ an umbrella so kids can hang out and enjoy the pool w/out having to get into the deeper areas.
The chipping putting area was nice and they had clubs and balls to practice.
I always appreciate it when a rental is not all beat up and missing stuff. This house was in very good condition and everything worked. All the chairs had good cushions, the fire pit and bbq where in great shape, the putting and chipping green was very well kept, the pool was nice, kitchen was clean and updated, etc.

The property was very clean and exactly as described. Communication with JoAnn was always prompt and informative. We spent much of our time in the pool and on the backyard putting green and will be returning next time we're in town.

We had a wonderful time. It was close to my parents home in Sun City. The Owl camera by the pool was a little creepy though.

JoAnn was quick to respond to a couple questions our first day. This home was a perfect getaway from a long winter in Montana. The location was in a quiet neighborhood and very convenient to services, restaurants, shopping and main highway arteries. Everything you need is there, and very clean. The outdoor amenities, pool , spa and outdoor kitchen are great. Aside from relaxing by the pool and shade of the patio roof , we took in visits to Taliesin West, M.IM. , and the Monet Imersion. We are looking forward to visiting again next year.

House was better than the pictures. Everything you need is in the home. All you need to do is show up. Kitchen, bathrooms, outdoor kitchen, pool area and backyard have everything you need to make yourself at home, just need a few groceries. Shopping and restaurants are only a few blocks away, but the location is quiet residential. House has security system. Pool and hot tub are in their own fenced area which was appreciated because we had small children with us. The high chair and portable crib were a welcome surprise. Would definitely recommend this home. Owners were available immediately via text.

We had another relaxing stay at Casa Mia. Baseball, festivals, museums and just hanging around in the back yard.

The home is very well designed, the backyard is a oasis for fun.
Down side sleeps 6 and very strict policy on 6 people max for day visits. Makes visiting family very difficult. Also you must leave pool vacuum in at all times. I've owned pool for 40 years. Very unsafe for kids.
Overall very nice property, just will not fit our family for future visits.

Our stay was excellent! The owner keeps the year round temperature at 68 and we asked her to give us a slightly higher temperature. So they set it at 72 which was great in the daytime but too warm even with fans on at night so we opened the windows but it was never cool enough for a good night’s sleep. We would have to have the settings at 71 or 72 in the daytime and 68 for us at night! Kids loved the astroturf grass and putting green and the swimming pool. The layout was great, kitchen fully equipped! Overall a great place!

My husband, puppy and I stayed in this comfy, beautiful home for 3 weeks. We loved it! The putting green was fun and the hot tub and pool were so very nice. The backyard was indeed my oasis, especially at night with all the torches. Beautiful. The owners were such a blessing to work with when we had a question or 2. The furnishings and appliances were absolutely top notch. We would highly recommend staying at this wonderful "resort"!

My wife and I along with our two adult sons and their girlfriends had an awesome time at Casa Mia over Christmas. The accommodations were very comfortable but the outdoor space was the main attraction. Everything you need is close by including the Arizona Cardinals football stadium.

There are many amenities at this property between the pool, spa, putting green, bbq and patio. Communication with the owner was prompt. We did have minor inconveniences where propane was out (it is the renters responsibility on their property rules) but when it is out for our first night, it was disappointing. Remotes needed new batteries which we purchased as we didn't want to keep switching out the batteries in the remotes, some dishes are chipped, vacuum needs to stay connected in the pool even while you are swimming. Some other things are not in their direct control, but nevertheless inconvenienced. With nightly fees, pool heating costs and owner fees we paid a lot a night, so to be inconvenienced evenly on a minor level was not welcoming. However, it was nicely located by our relatives so we would consider renting again. The house was decorated southwestern style and was clean.

It was a nice home with an amazing outdoor oasis. If you like to cook and have a small family it was a great gathering place. Great Az Fall League starting place for the Surprise, Peoria, and Glendale locations. There is a strict 6 people policy which was not tough because only 4 were staying there however friends we were visiting in the area has a family of 5 so we were unable to have them over. I completely understand the rule. It just made visiting with friends a little more difficult. If you have no problem staying at 6 or under I highly recommend this Vrbo.

This is my 2nd time staying at this property and each time has been amazing! We visited this time for a 70th birthday trip for my dad and he absolutely loved the property. The house is very clean and well appointed! We took a day trip to Sedona and it was an easy drive there and back as the property is located conveniently near the highway. We spent a majority of our time relaxing by the pool, jacuzzi, playing putt putt, and we grilled out each day. Jo Ann is easy to communicate with and she responds very timely. Overall, GREAT property and this will be my go to when visiting the Surprise/Phoenix area!

We can’t say enough about this beautiful property in Surprise! The house was clean, well appointed and in a quiet and safe neighborhood culdesac. The backyard is absolutely AMAZING! The pictures on the listing do not do it justice! Jo Ann and Robert were so helpful and friendly and were very quick to respond when we reached out. My husband and I will remember this trip fondly for many years to come. We will definitely be back and will see if this amazing property is available before we consider any others! We choose this location because it was convenient to Sedona, Scottsdale and the Cardinals stadium and it did not disappoint. Our day excursions were easy to get to being right off the highway and relaxing in the backyard pool, hot tub and patio afterwards was amazing. The kitchen was well appointed and grocery store very close. The owner was very responsive to our few questions during our stay and got back to us within minutes.

I thought the photos of this place looked amazing but it is even better in person. This house had everything we needed. It was spacious and super clean. The kitchen had all updated appliances and the cabinets were stocked with everything you would need. The outside area is amazing! We used the pool, sitting areas and putting green. We were there for baseball so we were pretty busy with that. I wish we had an extra day just to stay at the house an enjoy. Jo Ann was in touch and was available to answer questions immediately if we had them. If we head back to that area, I will definitely try and book this place again.

Our 1st time staying at a VRBO and because of this experience we will only go this way! We stayed for 8 days and enjoyed every single day! My family used the putting green daily. The outside area is amazing. The house is so cozy, you will love it from the layout to the couches and chess board! We came in August and are always hot so we went to Lowes and bought 2 oscillating fans. The owner advised us several times the thermostat would be set at 73 degree so we were aware! If you need ANYTHING just text JoAnn and she will fix it or make it right with you! Great people and property!

Very nice house, very clean, great backyard…BUT 2 things to be aware of. We have stayed at numerous VRBO‘s over the past couple years, never once have we had a host lock their thermostat and refuse to change it. We asked our host to lower the temperature by 3° at night when we were going to bed because our three small children, as well as us, were sweating the first night. She simply refused to do this. That’s a pretty reasonable request given that we’ve got kids and everyone was uncomfortable. When I asked a second time after she said no, she just never responded again. Ceiling fans help, but when it’s 100° outside for the entire day it was still uncomfortable at night.
The other thing to be aware of were the bees all over the pool area. Again with three small children, this became a constant battle of having to kill bees every time the kids went into the pool. We aren’t talking a couple of bees, we are talking about groups of 10-15 bees or more at a time by the hot tub, by the waterfall, and by the entrance to the pool.
Given the unreasonable and unaccommodating nature of the host we will not be staying here again when we come out to visit.

Overall this VRBO home was a good place to stay for the purposes of our trip but was not nearly as clean or accommodating as I had hoped. It had everything we needed but was not in a great location and was not up to my standards of cleanliness.
