We come to Anderson Island every year (for 40+ years) for our Trinklein family reunion. The house was exactly as pictured and was squeaky clean and comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms were all well stocked and the games and bikes in the garage were a nice plus! We enjoyed our time immensely and would recommend this property.

This property was great! The home is spacious and there was plenty of room for the 9 of us. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Beds were very comfortable. The grand kids loved the yard, forest and the fire pit. All of us want to come back in the summer to take advantage of the kayaks and bikes that are provided.

Couldn't have asked for a better family get together location. The hosts were wonderful and assisted us throughout the entire process. Will definitely look to return for another trip. Thank you!

We arrived Thursday 10/12 and left Sunday 10/15. House in excellent shape and there were no surprises. We bring in a ton of food for all and the kitchen. Very relaxing and hope to return in a year or so.

The perfect cozy home surrounded by amazing trees, trails and water. Our stay was everything and more that I hoped for. Having spent time on Anderson Island as a child, more than sixty years ago, I realized it is still the same beautiful, peaceful place I remember it to be. Thank you.

The hosts are very accommodating and provide a ton of information about the local area. The home was not only clean and comfortable, but they literally have anything you might need. We had a lovely time and could easily see ourselves staying there again.

What a wonderful place to enjoy our family! Remote and fairly primitive … Anderson Island is a great place to escape from the city! This cabin beyond exceeded our expectations. Beautiful and comfortable, enjoyed by all! We only wish that the weather would’ve cooperated a little bit more, and stopped raining so that we could have been outside more. The owner was extremely accommodating and helpful, quick to respond. Just can’t say enough about the entire experience. Would highly recommend again and again, and again. We will be visiting, hopefully person very soon!

This place was amazing. Tucked away in the woods, a private oasis. The house is stocked with literally everything you can think of. The layout is comfortable (master upstairs with small office and master bath), 2 addl bdrms on main floor with large bath, and open kitchen, dining room, great room with gas fireplace, books and board games for all ages. Downstairs is laundry room with foosball table, another separate tv room and garage hosts approx 8 bicycles, kayaks, canoe, ping pong table, badmitton, croquet and more. Although it rained almost our entire stay, there is a large deck with porch swing and firepit. We are looking forward to booking again with sunshine in the forecast!

Our family enjoyed a relaxing Thanksgiving week in this gorgeous cabin. This home has everything you could want or need, from games for all ages, bikes for Island exploration, a cozy fireplace for rainy days to foose ball and ping pong. We were able to enjoy a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner for eight quite comfortably. The kitchen had all the dishes needed and then some to make meal preparation a cinch. We hope to bring our family back someday.

We live close by, but just needed a weekend away just to be with family without distractions. This place is awesome! Anderson Island is perfect. It was only a twenty minute drive to ferry, but being there on the island felt like a distant location. The cabin is super clean nicely updated. Wifi worked great, entertainment options were plentiful. The owners were amazingly accommodating. The neighbors were friendly. Nothing behind the cabin but woods, so very peaceful. For how big this place is and what they charge, I doubt they are making any money. Extremely great deal for what you get.

We are 4 couples who visited this Anderson Island log home May 17-21, 2021.
This was a very special spring get-away for the eight of us as we hadn’t seen one another in person for almost a year and a half! And to go to such a beautiful island environment where the foliage was verdant, the air so clean, and crossing the sound by ferry resulted in kind of a magical experience.
The house is very comfortable with adequate seating and lighting for eight (sometimes hard to come by in vacation rentals.). The mission style dinning table expands for a crowd with adequate seating as well. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking, which we did for every meal during our stay. Nicole has provided just about everything you need for cooking and baking.
The two bedrooms on the main floor have comfy queen beds, and share a BR with the rest of the house. The large master suite with king size bed is up a stair case and boasts a bathroom with two sinks, toilet and shower. There is a basement laundry room/rec room, with an adjoining room with fold out couch and TV.
In the LR there is a gas fireplace for ambiance and heat. And, a beautiful, large deck rests off the living room and dining room. The weather forecast was iffy for our stay, but it turned into a couple showers, blue sky and sun with fluffy white clouds. So, we made good use of the deck, bbq-ing one dinner on the gas BBQ there that was easy to use.
There are a lot of activities to take part in on the island: biking with little traffic (outside of the ferry landing), walks, hiking and beach combing. There is a lake for swimming and boating. Then the sound offers a chance for water sport for more experienced kayakers and canoeists. And, there is a kayak and canoe in the garage. What more could you want? Maybe a drink and appetizers at the lakeside restaurant, the Riviera, outside on the deck! We thoroughly enjoyed our sunny afternoon stop there. If you go on a Wednesday, you can join the BINGO crowd.
I have to say that all eight of us talked about how much we enjoyed our stay and we want to return to this Anderson Island log home retreat. I feel we have just barely scratch the surface of things to do there. And, such a great place to just relax. . . .

This cabin and Anderson Island are awesome!
This cabin ("Kee-a-wali") is intelligently outfitted and tastefully decorated. Words like graceful and elegant come to mind. So many places are okay but not easy on the eyes. There were 5 of us, and we all appreciated the beauty the owners have created. It is not drab or dull at all, but neither is it ostentatious or glitzy.
We had a better time because the appliances and furnishings were a cut above. They seem to have thought of everything. We could find anything we needed for cooking, etc. and it worked and worked well. Wonderful kitchen.
The two main bedrooms are beautiful: the upstairs one has its own bathroom (the bathrooms are basic and functional), and the one on the main floor shares its bathroom with a kid's room with a bunk bed and the downstairs (entered via a door under the main staircase) room with a folding double bed. The downstairs also houses a pool table, etc.
The living room, dining room and downstairs play room as well as the kitchen are all excellent.
Anderson Island is a gem hidden in plain sight. It's like going to some sites in the San Juans with way less hassle. I’ve lived in Seattle most of my life and I’ve never been to Anderson. Now I realize that I’ve missed out on something good. It is so close to Seattle, and yet it's like stepping into a different time and space. We stayed in late October and were concerned about the weather. We got good weather, but we needn't have concerned ourselves in the first place. I could have been happy just sitting by the nice fireplace (which actually works to warm the whole house) reading and/or enjoying the very nice streaming and Blu-Ray entertainment system!
The owners are wonderful and they've created Kee-a-wali with intelligence and grace. Kee-a-wali and Anderson Island combine to make a great getaway.

Perfect place for our family
Clean home with everything you need and want. Kids played games while food was prepped in the equipped kitchen. Ample room for our 2 small families. Can easily relax on the deck or inside - it feels like home. Enjoyed the numerous island activities.

Close to the Ferry, the store, charming and spacious (especially the yard)!
Six friends and I just completed a "guys weekend" retreat on Anderson Island. We spent the days golfing (both on the "mainland" and at the Anderson Island Country Club), and spent the afternoons and evenings playing yard games outside and board/card games inside. . . Yes, we're a competitive bunch. The house is charmingly rustic and had everything we required for a great time. The yard is amazing, with enough space for us to have Kubb (Google it), cornhole, AND disc golf catchers set up simultaneously. Unfortunately, there was a burn ban in place while we were there, so we were unable to take advantage of the gorgeous fire pit. But a great time was had by all and this will be my go-to spot when I want to relax on the Island!

Great Cabin on Anderson Island
We had an awesome getaway at this amazing cabin. It’s a short drive from the ferry, very private, large, and has everything you need. We loved it and plan to return if we get the chance.
