About this house rental
Welcome to our dacha! It is a chalet-style cabin inside Pine Mountain Lake, just 25 miles outside the west gate of Yosemite. Our dacha is the perfect escape from the hustle and stress of everyday life. You can bring your family and friends to rest, relax and recharge. You will enjoy fantastic forest views, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and enjoy all the amenities PML offers.
There is no dishwasher in the kitchen. So sorry! Our cabin has three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and comfortably sleeps up to 8. On the main level are two bedrooms (one room has a queen bed, and the second room has two twin beds) and one bathroom with a showerhead and bathtub. This level also has a wood-burning fireplace and a TV/DVD player. There is a third bedroom with a queen mattress, a loft, and a bathroom with a shower on the upper level. The lower level is the game/entertainment room with an air hockey/ping pong table, TV w/ DVD player, an excellent selection of DVDs, board games, and a Foosball table. One sofa was also converted into a super comfortable queen-size memory foam mattress. A half bathroom and laundry room is adjoining the game room. We also have a self-inflating twin-size air mattress available for your use. The kitchen is small but well equipped with a stove/oven, full-size fridge, coffee maker, electric kettle, pots/pans, dishes, cutlery, bakeware, and serving ware. Laundry, gas grill, and necessities are available during your stay.
While staying at Pine Mountain Lake, you can enjoy our many amenities. You will find Championship Golf Course, Fine Dining and the Grill, Boating, Fishing, Horse Back Riding, Tennis, Pickle Ball, and Swimming, to name a few.
Visit the PML website at HTTPS:/ www.pinemountainlake.com for a complete description of all we offer.
Pine Mountain Lake implements a weekly guest user fee of $46.00 for each automobile accessing the facility. This fee is collected at the point of entry and can be settled using either a Credit Card or Cash as a payment method
Due to limited parking space and no street parking, we must limit your party to four (4) cars.

Loved the three levels, we had enough room to spread out.It was clean and close to everything. Everything was great except the airconditioning. Unfortunately it was 102 degrees when we booked our stay and the small window air conditioner in the living room did not do a good enough job to cool the three levels of the house. If you get a central air conditioner that cools all the rooms I will rent your house several times a year.

Well kept, cozy cabin that fit all of our family needs. It was warm in the rooms without ac but it is also a heat wave. We enjoyed our stay and will go back.

This house is in very good shape overall.
You will find high quality architecture, construction, materials, and decor for the most part. Much of the construction, decor, and architecture seems newly remodeled, such as the deck. Many of the materials seem as though they were preserved perfectly from their high style, quality, and function from 1980.
We found many of the window blinds very badly broken, inoperable, and almost useless; pull cord blinds don't work very well at home, and they get beat up really really bad at vacation rentals. We experienced full summer sun and 105 degrees, and functioning blinds would have been helpful in some room. There is one window air conditioning unit. It is very good and powerful. It was no match for the super hot days we experienced; the top floor / bedroom was uninhabitable. The house would have gotten cooler and stayed cooler had the cleaners left the air conditioning blasting for several hours before we arrived. A few $15 box fans would help move the cool air to other parts of the house. The climate has changed since 1980, and this house needs some tools to deal with that reality. It is just plain much hotter on many more days.
The house was generally quite clean. The refrigerator was sort of clean, but mostly not clean. It had some old butter, hair, and a few other old food items in it. The carpets are beige and show quite a bit of wear, stains, burns, etc.
The air hockey game doesn't blow much air out of much of the table top, and the top seemed a bit sticky. Some lemon pledge wax furniture spray on the table top and pucks might help make it usable. The foosball table was in good condition.
They had a super nice generous new well-stocked spice rack.
The plates, bowls, serving dishes, etc. were of low quality and more would be useful.
We had a great time. The deck is very nice. The grill is very good. Lots of very nice deck chairs.
This house was a good value for what we paid. We got what we expected via looking at the photos. We planned and rented late; not many places were left near Yosemite. This place did the job well. We got exactly what we expected.

The property was spacious, comfortable and clean. It would best suited for a large party as there was a great game room and plenty of options for somewhere to sleep. On the down side there is no dishwasher, some of the lamps had no bulbs and some power outlets were not working. The large spacious patio could have benefitted from having an outdoor table to sit at. One disappointment was a lack of recycling bin. The bedroom and living curtains are inadequate and do not block out the light. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this unique property in a quiet neighborhood and would come back.
