Spend a quintessential New Hampshire summer at this cozy, two-bedroom cottage on the shores of Big Pea Porridge Pond, a lakefront retreat that comes with a private dock, a small private beach, as well as a canoe and kayaks to take out on the water whenever you please. This home is nestled among trees that become a spray of color each autumn, with gorgeous views of the lake that you can enjoy from the large screened porch, the back deck, and the picnic table in the yard. You'll be able to spend your days swimming, boating, playing horseshoes, and flipping burgers on the grill outside. As for the evening hours, you can roast marshmallows around the seasonal firepit, mix cocktails at the tiki bar in the screened porch, and curl up in front of the two TVs - one Smart TV and one flatscreen with a Roku - for a night of your favorite movies and shows.

What's nearby:
This lakefront home sits on the southern shore of Big Pea Porridge Pond in Eidelweiss Village, a community with five association beaches (including Thusis Beach just down the road). If you're visiting in winter, you'll have your choice of nearby ski slopes, including King Pine (eight miles south), Cranmore (11 miles north), and Attitash (18 miles northwest). You'll also be a few minutes' drive from the Conway Scenic Railroad and a wealth of tax-free outlet shopping in Conway and North Conway.

Kids loved the lake. They were out there everyday catching Bass, Pike and Catfish. Kids loved the Kayaks. They didn't want to leave.

The place is exactly as advertised. It's clean and comfy. The canoe and kayaks were great and the private lake access is awesome. It would be great if they had laundry (and a dishwasher, but now I'm getting picky).

Lake & private beach were beautiful. The listing says washer/dryer but not that you have to go into town so that is my only complaint that it should be changed to not available on site.

We traveled down to NH for a few days to show our kids where we got married and goto to story land. We loved this little cabin, it was perfect for our family. It was equipped with everything we needed, plenty of extra towels and linens. The home was very clean upon arrival and we had 0 issues during our stay.

We had a nice little stay at this cottage! The place was a little bit quirky and needed some very minor things to be fixed/repaired and it could have been just a little more clean(found some food on the floor that had been hidden under the cupboards and couch)but it met my expectations and it didn’t disappoint. The spot was very private and quiet like we wanted. Overall a good spot for families, especially those with young kids. Just a note for other parent's...there aren't locks up high on the doors to keep toddlers inside and they can open the slider door which goes to the porch where the screen is no longer really attached and the door to outside/to the water doesn't lock well. So we bought some door knob child safety covers to keep our little boys inside(2&3.) we also used a broom handle to keep the slider door from being opened. We left those covers behind for future families that may want them while staying there. Would absolutely book this cute little place again.

Good privacy. Great location. Close enough to town with easy access and far enough away from downtown tourism noise. Clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for a couple or small family. Great lake frontage and dock. At this price point the place is a super bargain.

The pond was beautiful in October with the Fall foliage all around. Even better than in the pictures! Canoe and kayaks available for guests to explore the pond which was a great bonus. It was very quiet and peaceful during our stay. We didn’t hear anything except the wildlife outside. The cabin is ‘rustic’ and in desperate need of a deep cleaning. The shower curtain was completely moldy at the bottom. The floors were dirty and the baseboards are covered in a layer of dust. The screened in porch could use a good cleaning too. The towels and bed linens were clean and seemed like high quality. The furniture is old and worn out- especially the couch. It needs to be thrown away and replaced! It’s so uncomfortable and we were actually sore from sitting on it in the evening!! The kitchen is filled with old utensils and random cookware. One bedroom is missing the roller blind in the window so we had to “make our own” with some bath towels in order to sober the window to sleep and for privacy. This place is all about the location on the pond. The cabin itself needs cleaning, repairs and updates!!
