Loved the place, neighborhood and easy access to the places we wanted to go…. North Conway, Mt Washington and many hiking trails. Vacasa service was bad… trash was not emptied before our stay and it took a bear rummaging through the trash bin to get them to come change it. Propane tank leaked and after 3 calls to bring a refill and never came I had to buy a full one myself. Hopefully I will be reimbursed like they say. Other than that the home is great and the ponds in the neighborhood are in walking distance. Great property and we would come back.

Beautiful deck. Did not use much.(weather) great space for big families.

Proximity to the nearby pond and playground were great for the grandkids--they loved it. The black bear and the surprisingly large turtle were an added bonus. Location was excellent as we had family come in from several Canadian and US cities. Loved the large deck area--morning coffee and evening barbecue. We will return for another stay.

Difficulty with entry, kitchen sink kept backing up from moment we arrived, beautiful deck that we couldn’t enjoy as there was no furniture & manager had no idea on its whereabouts, even though house is shown with it available, some dorito chips on master bedroom floor

We needed a property to fit our large family while up in NH. We needed a fair amount of room and a close distance to the venue. This property did not disappoint for both of those needs!

A few friends and I from high school were finally able to take time off work and go up north for a weekend to catch up. Place was great! Though, I think the fridge may have been recently turned on just before we got there, because it took a while to get cold! Other than that, no real complaints! Cozy, clean, quiet. Just what we needed!

The home was large and very clean! Three levels; I didn’t count on all of those stairs! Lower level: no a/c but it was cool and fans were helpful. Shower had very low water pressure!!!! Almist a trickle. This level had a very musty odor. Second level: main living area. Bright! Plenty of room and seating! Appreciate the pool noodles along the granite hearth. Too many extension cords!!! Nightmare for a one year old. Dishwasher falls forward when open. Only three soap tablets (not enough for 8 people for one week) Also, only three trash bags. No idea when bear box scheduled to be emptied. They actually noticed it on July 4th. It was packed by time we left. Laundry was awesome! Kitchen cabinets completely full of pots, pans, etc. No room for groceries so we ended up storing them on the counter. Drawers full of stuff. Everything you needed but messy. A cabinet full of staples we did not use (?left by other renters). Fridge nice but freezer needed defrosting. Water feature appreciated. Make your own ice. Large in wall a/c. (This property does not have central air as advertised). A/c noisy but did the job as we had very hot, humid weather. There is an ant problem but assume that’s what happens in the woods! Huge deck! I moved the furniture away from the railings to prevent children from falling. Furniture comfy. Upper level with window a/c. Water pressure better in shower. Towel holder fell off wall as well as toilet paper holder. Duct tape over an open outlet. Did not use jacuzzi. All bedding, pillows and towels were nice. Tiny beach within walking distance but the walk home was straight up hill. Close to all major attractions!

Let me start with compliments. The house itself is well appointed and in an amazing location. You have wonderful views if you walk up the hill a bit, and a gorgeous pond below. The house is well stocked with all necessities. The beds are very comfortable, and the bedding clean and comfortable. This house really is a dream.
Now, the cons:
Day 1:
When we arrived, there had been a snowstorm the day before, and it had snowed quite a bit (over 2 feet of snow). No one had cleared the driveway, or even a path to the house, so we were on our own clearing heavy wet snow. I understood that this can happen, so I don’t really hold this against anyone, but it is a difficult start to a relaxing holiday.
We entered the house, and within an hour, found out that the house somehow had no running water. I called Vacasa, and they assured use they would have someone out within the hour. As we hadn’t brought any water with us, this meant we could not wash dishes, flush a toilet, or drink any water. After shovelling for the better part of an hour, I was craving a nice tall glass of water. We didn’t know much about the area, and had no idea where the nearest store was, and now it was dark. So we waited patiently for our saviour from Vacasa, but no one showed. I texted again, twice, and was not answered. We finally gave up and went to bed.
The person sent to fix the water finally showed at 2pm on day two (almost 24 hours later). Vacasa never bothered to communicate with us to find out if someone had arrived, and never even bothered to check that it was fixed. This was clearly a bad start.
Day 3:
Someone finally came to plow the driveway, so we were grateful to not leave our truck at the top of the drive.
Day 4: someone showed up to plow the top deck.
Day 5:
as we are resting in bed at 8am, listening to the absolute peace and quiet of the area (we are from Singapore, so we were so happy to be away from the hustle and bustle, and ESPECIALLY the construction noise, as the flats around us are all under renovation there), we suddenly hear a drill. Then some hammering. Then some more drilling…. Apparently, someone had given the go ahead for some repairs to the property while we were occupying it. They also failed to inform us. So out in our driveway are two trucks, and a group of people. They stayed all morning and into the afternoon. I called Vacasa to ask them if this was scheduled beforehand, as no one had informed us. I was clearly upset. They were there most of the day. Vacasa said they would look into it and get back to us within 24 hours regarding the disruption. They never got back to us. The people eventually left. But this left another black mark on our holiday. We came for the peace and quiet. To be alone. And so far we have had people over most days doing one thing or another. And Vacasa just didn’t seem to even care.
If not for the experience with Vacasa, I would have rated this house a 5 star. I will not stay at another Vacasa property.

The house was perfect for our big family and we found it very clean and welcoming!

The house was easy to find and well located. A short walk to a lovely clean beach, with other beaches within the neighborhood.
The house itself was nice though a little dated. It was just me and my elderly mother so we used the two first floor bedrooms, which were well equipped with a bathroom between them.
On the main level (2nd floor) is an open concept kitchen, dining and living area. There is a kuerig coffee make and lots of utensils and cooking stuff. We weren't cooking on this trip but there is an electric range and pretty old (analog) wall oven.
There are many many light switches so it to a bit too figure it what went to what, and a couple of switches need to be replaced.
Didn't use the deck but it's very big with lots of outdoor furniture.
The house was quite clean with the exception of the fact that the outdoor bear proof trash bin was completely full when we arrived.
On the third level was what I'd guess you'd call a master suite with another bedroom. The bathroom had a shower and a hot tub, but the hot tub appeared inoperable. Not sure I'd have used it, but that's the only bathtub. There are two showers.
Overall a nice stay, quiet neighborhood, and good value.

House was very clean and well equipped. There was no AC except a unit in the dining area and 2 upstairs bedrooms. There were stand fans. VACASA, the property management company was horrible. His communication was almost non existent. We were given the wrong check in code, which did get resolved. We needed a mid week garbage pick up and it took him 2 days to respond. Pre vacation when I had questions I was given incorrect information or none at all. I will NEVER rent another house with VACASA.

We loved the deck and bbq. We also loved the size of the home and the main sitting area. We loved the access to the ponds but would have liked to have had access of either a canoe or kayak.

Tree house escape!
I loved this place! Nice and close to all things New Hampshire! I loved the back deck the most, it is right up in the tree tops. What a great feeling to just be up in nature like that. I loved how the community had amazing views of you drove a little up the road and a nice little beach if you drove down the road. The check in process was a little tough. The door code was set wrong and it was hard to contact the property manager because of the no service problem. Everything went very smooth until check out. A pair of my friends earrings were left on the night stand which had family value to them and they were “never found” a little sketchy if you ask me. Maybe a new cleaning company is in order….

Nice home terrible property manager Vacasa
Home was good for large group and good location HOWEVER we experienced a snow storm during our stay and contacted Vacasa prior to ensure being plowed out of the very large driveway. No response to 2 messages. We had a plastic shovel and had to shovel ourselves out 3 times. Plow came evening of the next day and had we not found a shovel we would have been stranded for 2 days! Never heard from Vacasa

Family Weekend
Great cozy home for family weekend away. We had a vey comfortable stay. Home has everything you could need. Located close to King Pine ski mountain, which was a great spot for everyone on our group. We all did snow tubing and some skied. Also close to North Conway shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property. The check out instructions could be emailed earlier and the lower staircase could use a railing for safety. Very nice, well decorated home in a beautiful location in the White Mountains

Great Location, Bedrooms Different from description
The location was great, close to the pond. There is ample room to spread out even with a large group. The outdoor griddle is amazing to cook on. Our only complaint was two of the bunk beds were not there and instead one room had a double and a single and the other had a queen. Vacasa was great and did their best to help us sort out the issue the best they could.

This property was perfect for my annual family summer getaway. The deck was amazing. My 3 young daughters loved the big space and all the floors. I would rent this house again.

We loved the home, especially the floor plan and the living room, kitchen area. Our pup loved the openness also :-) everything including the Staples was stocked. The bedrooms and the bathrooms were clean and comfortable.
Things for improvement..not so hard to address these:
A few k-cups, 1 or 2 would help out for that first time. Some blankets could use replacement, they were clean without a doubt but couple could be retired.
The hot tub in the master is gorgeous, just that it was unusable at the time of our stay. We didn't expect that but seeing it there made us imagine how amazing it would be.

The home was great for a nice little white mountain getaway. Some of us went for a hike and others bopped around town. It was a wonderful time.

Enjoyed our stay very much!
Plenty of space in the house for our two families, and super confident to King Pine for skiing & tubing. The house was clean upon arrival and had everything we needed for preparing meals. Location to King Pine was very convenient that we were able to buzz home for lunch, then head back to the mountain for afternoon skiing. I also appreciate the good communication from Vacasa before checking in & during our stay.

Great home, good location
Our family had a great time at The Mountain Lake Getaway. The home is close to two major ski resorts - Attitash & Wildcat (about a 30-minute ride) - and a short trailer ride down the hill with direct access to NH's vast snowmobile trail system. The home is also about 15 minutes from North Conway where there is plenty to do in terms of shopping and dining. Our family found the open center floor very cozy with plenty of space to sit and enjoy a fire, eat dinner together, and spend time hanging out with a nice glass of wine or bourbon after a full day on the slopes and snowmobile trails. We would definitely rent The Mountain Lake Getaway again as there was plenty of room for all of us!

Beautiful home with challenging bedding arrangements.
We loved this beautiful and comfortable house and would stay there again except for the bedding situation (only 1 non-bunk bed) in the entire house. When we rented it, we didn't consider that we would be courting concussions every time we made the beds. Renters over 4 ft. tall should be mindful of this.

Management team is great and responded to an issue quickly. Great , roomy house that is close to town. Clean and well kept home.
