Arranged for local travel with Robinson (great taxi driver!).

The rooms are nice and clean. The restaurants are amazing. The view is beautiful!
I didn’t like the pool. Tiles broken and a lot of wasps also it could have been cleaner.

This is a wonderful resort property. Elegant and understated with a fine dining and casual dining option, beach bar, pool bar and dining room bar a lovely little beach , beautiful pool area and a stunning view from every room. The staff are exceptionally kind and accommodating.
I have nothing bad to say

I loved all the attention to details. Prosecco on arrival, soft mats by the side of the beds, cabanas on the beach
The only very small criticism would be that the bathroom in the room could do with an update but I know that is on the hotel owners to do list
4.5
Great staff. Good restaurants with one on the beach for breakfast. Spacious room
Beach was a bit disappointing given how many great beaches there are
4.5
Food was good, Nice to have breakfast/brunch in the beach restaurant, whereas dinner is in the main bar area and more refined
Bathroom was tired, but not a big deal for us.

Little things kept going awry! Running out of water during my shower was the biggest complaint

Beach could have been cleaner. Lots of seaweed

Nice hotel with good food options. The hotel has a small private beach, a pool and beautiful areas to relax. The outdoor furniture is comfortable and the wicker pods are big enough for a couple to enjoy. Best of all was the friendly and accommodating staff. They were beyond awesome and made our stay exceptional. We mostly stayed on the property to relax, enjoy a few extraordinary massages and outstanding meals. The location was absolutely gorgeous.
If you like to walk, you will have to walk on the street to get to places nearby. There are no trails or sidewalks.
The private beach was small and there are no adjacent beaches.

We felt safe, relaxed, and well-taken care of when we arrived. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel happy and rested. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The views from the room and dinner restaurant are breathtaking. The rental of the car was easy. Rupert even offered to drive us to the closest grocery store. We received an upgrade. Honestly, it felt like a small paradise. Thank you!
The waitress for dinner felt upset and was rushing through. She was not rude or anything, but she wanted to close the night and go home. Everything else was excellent.
3.5
The staff at the Sugar Mill were exceptional and very friendly- very accommodating.
Sugar Mill Restaurant was fantastic- some of the best food we've ever had - Menu was diverse and well thought out. If you stay for a week, you won't eat the same food twice unless you really want to.
If you want peace and quiet- this is the place to come - almost to the extreme level.
The property is very hilly and walking is difficult if your room is above the pool. Golf carts are available when available.
The beach is very small and slopes toward the ocean.
The beach/ocean, was too wavy to swim during our week stay. The staff does a good job of keeping the beach cleaned for the guests.
The Tramonti bar, on the beach has limited drink selection (Not a full bar) and the staff do not wait on you if you stay on the beach- you'll have to get your own drinks.
The pool is small but adequate. There is not a bar to speak of at the pool like advertised. It is simply a serve your self (On your honor) refrigerator with beer and soda, wine etc. It is not maintained daily and often will empty out.
There are no servers at the pool either, you have to bring your own refreshments, use the on your honor fridge or walk to the bar to get a drink.
The king sized beds are 2 twins pushed together- beware of the gap/hump down the middle and twin sheets on each bed.
The room is nice, however, there is a small refrigerator in the room that has an an ice tray in the freezer but will not make ice and there is not an ice machine offered by the staff/management at the resort at least during our stay.
If you plan on bringing your own liquor, make sure you ask for ice from the bartender. We found this out after 5 days of scrounging for ice.
The hot water in the room will take 5 minutes to come in - so let the shower run and turn it to cold because the heat is not regulated very well and it may burn you.
We got the impression that the resort caters to the restaurant as their star attraction rather than focusing on the rest of the resort
Beware of the dreaded Roosters who will try and wake you up at 4:00 AM
Ask a lot questions from the management and read the hotel guide book in you room if it your first time on the island/resort for things to do, transportation, supplies, tours, etc.

the restaurant and bar area were great! Food was amazing
Rupert and Andrea who manage the property were great
the room was a bit tired
our room was on a lower floor and so the view was not great
the hotel was almost empty so we should have been upgraded to a similar room on a higher level therefore a better view

The food was fantastic! Never wanted to eat anywhere else. It was clean, quiet, friendly and anything you needed was taken care of. Andrea and Rupert were amazing, as if I knew them for years.

Andrea and husband who mange the property are extremely warm and welcoming. they checked in with us both at meals or as we walked through property. they are willing and able to help with activities or recommendations of where to see or go. grounds are very well kept and manicured. there are two restaurants on site. a beach side causal breakfast, lunch and dinner operation. wait staff is a little inexperienced but very friendly and we we’re always well taken care of. the main restaurant is absolutely breathtaking. would stay again!

The hotel is in such a lovely location with beautifully stunning grounds, lovely rooms, the most accommodating and friendly owners/staff and VIEWS that truly can not be beat. Words can't describe them, truly. The pool, the beach, the dining experience were all exceptional as well. We can not wait to return to one of our favorite spots in the world! Can't recommend more highly.
