Really enjoyed my stay here. I would recommend this location. Really nice people.
I liked everything
4.0
everything was fine, except the whole place was dirty and kind of in disrepair. The guy at the desk was very nice. The beds seem cleaned, but the halls were dirty and the room was dirty.
maintain the place and keep it clean
7.0
The cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff, the A/C running all the time to muffle noise, no carpet, laminated floors instead, the price.
The breakfast options. One cereal that was not sweet would have been nice.
5.0
Friendly, and very helpful about places to eat and things happening close to the hotel !okay
The air conditioning was loud. Upon arrival, there was an offensive smell coming from the other end of the hall upstairs. Strong cooking smell??? But, our room was 👍🏼!

seemed pretty clean
breakfast was nasty (spoiled waffle mix) with few other options

It was very clean, bed was comfortable and the rate was reasonable.

The room was comfortable and staff was wonderful. A classic American roadside motel. Excellent value for the price. I would happily stay again if in the area.

I loved the family feeling the staff showed. To me, this is the most important thing about staying in any hotel/motel
The room wasn't in the best repair, but that's what it feels like with family so I didn't mind. At least it was warm and comfortable and had running water to shower in....what more do I need.
6.0
Friendly receptionist and the price. The room was clean.
Aged rooms, aged everything. Didn't feel safe due to an unlocked back door. Thin room door. No carpets in the rooms. Cold and uncomfortable. Breakfast and the breakfast room were a joke.

This is a nice little hotel in the middle of Sidney and met my expectations for a bargain hotel night. The hotel was a little hard to find as it's not near the freeway exit but inside the town about a mile away. The hotel was still the Sidney Inn when I stayed but they had re-branded everything to Rodeway in preparation for the change effective October 1. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful.
The facility is obviously an older property but it was clean, quiet and comfortable. All of the room amenities (fridge, microwave, bathroom, etc.) worked well and while the property is older, it appears to be well taken care of unlike some other bargain properties. The hotel didn't have (that I could find) a guest elevator likely due to the fact that it wasn't required when the property was built, but it is only 2 floors so that wasn't a big deal. I only stayed 1 night on a cross-country trip so I cannot comment on the food or amenities around the hotel.
The continental breakfast was instant oatmeal, a couple of types of cold cereal, and I think that they had a waffle maker and coffee. I didn't actually eat the breakfast there as I opted for another option but I did take a quick look to see what they had. The Internet service in the room I was in was great.
Overall this property met my expectations for the price paid and other than a little trouble finding it (Verizon does NOT serve this area well at all so I had no data and no map) it was a good place to stay the night. Quiet and safe.
I would have preferred more breakfast options (some egg/protein options rather than straight-up carbs) but for the price I paid, I didn't expect that really. The only other downer isn't really the property's fault - the Verizon service in the area is non-existent so I didn't have any map help finding the location. I only found it because I remembered the general location and how to get there from looking at the map 3 days earlier when I made the reservation -- at the time I was looking at food options around the property when trying to decide if I wanted to stay there or not but that browsing saved my bacon when it came time to actually find the property without any map or guidance and being totally unfamiliar with the area!

nothing a dirty dump false advertising nothing at all like the pictures
it was dirty it was sparsely furnished the king size bed was no more than a rollaway and there was absolutely nowhere to walk our dogs everything was concrete we literally had to use a neighbors yard which is shameful the place should not be considered pet friendly and there was no breakfast

Not in a good part of town. The property was very old.

Oh boy is there a lot.. the price alone was ridiculous for what felt, looked and smelled like a 1 star motel. Like the place smelled like it was recently on fire.. The location is awful, there's no convenience at all. The beds are hard, oh and don't try and get any drinks, the vending machine doesn't take cards :) they say they're pet friendly but the site doesn't give you an option to add them when you're booking. Wouldn't bring any dogs, as they don't have any grass for them to do their business on.

The staff were very kind and welcoming. The room was quiet, and everything was in good condition and worked just fine. It's nothing fancy, but it absolutely served my needs and I would definitely stay here again if I were in Sidney.
There was nothing really wrong with the place. It's an old building but it is very well maintained!
