Our entire group loved everything about the house. The location allowed us to do a couple afternoon trips to Nisswa and Crosby. All amenities were great. Beds very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, loved the beach and firepit . We stayed here in 2022 and after another wonderful time here in 2024, we hope to return again.

Our multigenerational family had a great time. Kids loved fishing from the dock, water fun on the Lilly pad and staying together in the bunk room. Plenty of space to be together or find a quiet corner.

We stayed for 5 nights and did it all! This home was perfect for us (6 adults and 8 kids from age 7-15, and we could have fit another family easily). The size of the home and living space is amazing with a great layout. The dock was one of the nicest and largest we have seen in our many cabin trips. The beach was shared with neighbors but they were very kind and welcoming. We rented a jet ski with ease, town is close by, and the bay in front of the cabin was plenty big to tube, ski, swim and fish. For those curious the channels to adjoining lakes are time consuming no wake zones. 30-45 mins to The Warf min. But the views and cabin gazing is fun.Hope you have as great a trip as we did. Oh, and Kari was very kind and quick to communicate!

What a perfect place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. Perfect house for cooking, relaxing, sleeping and playing games. The house layout is great for a large group of all ages.
We appreciated the flat area off the patio for yard games and watching kids play in the water. Not too many steps to the beach. Crosslake was just 8 minutes away. Close to mini golf, grocery store and ice cream!
Kari was responsive to our communication when we asked for rakes for the beach and sand area. The beach is quite weedy and needed be to raked daily to be usable for floating/playing which was a surprise to us. There was a weed roller attached to the dock but didn't appear to have been used recently.
A black bear was a bit pesky with the garbages which was annoying since it knocked the garbages over 3 different nights which left us a big mess to clean up. Not sure there is much that can be done since we are up north and there are even bear locks on the garbages and recycling. Maybe the garbage and recycling cans can be kept in the garage until garbage day?
All in all we had a AMAZING week! We even booked again for next summer. You will not be disappointed with the home. A true find!

This was our second time back over President’s Day weekend, and we again had a great time! We have 4 families (15 people in total) that stay, and the house is plenty big enough for all of us for sleeping, eating, hanging out, etc. The kids (ages 3-9) absolutely love the bunkhouse and the basement with the ping pong and foosball tables. Great set up with the lake for ice fishing as well. No complaints on our end, and there were several comments on how comfortable the beds and sheets were. Thanks for a great time - we will definitely be back!

Beautiful lake front cabin, plenty of room for yoga, great kitchen space, comfortable beds, hiking in the great outdoors, peaceful area.
Not enough space for parking if people are arriving in more than 4 cars. Very inconvenient to park in town.

The house was amazing. Our group had lots of space, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were incredibly comfortable.

We surprised my mom with a weekend away for her 80th Birthday and we couldn’t have been more happy with the place we stayed! We all loved the house and location. Kari was very responsive and great to work with! My mom along with the kids all asked if we could make this a yearly trip!

We have stayed in many northern Minnesota lake rentals as a family through the years and this one is hands down the best yet. Gorgeous views from most every room in the house, close to the lake and one of the few houses on the lake with a sandy beach. We enjoyed the beautiful fire pit with lots of seating and plenty of wood to use. Inside all beds were comfy and even comfy pillows which was a plus. Every kitchen gadget you would need along with plenty of dishes and utensils. Owner was very responsive and helpful. AAA rating all around, thanks Kari.

Very nice house with adequate space for our large family. We enjoyed the beautiful fire pit area, large dock & shallow beach. Excellent proximity to town where we played golf, mini golf, ate ice cream, utilized the boat launch & rented jet skis. There were no foosballs for the foosball table which was a bummer for the kids & a lot of pet hair on the living room chairs when we arrived. Other than that, it was great & we'd definitely recommend.

Our family of 9 (6 adults and 3 children) from California and Minnesota had a wonderful week at this perfect home. The beds and linens were so comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with newer pots and pans along with plenty of utensils.
We appreciated the air conditioning during the day and the fire pit in the evenings. We highly recommend that you stay at this lake home with a view.

Second summer spending a week at this lovely lakehome. Kitchen was well-equipped and house was clean. Happy to have the shared beach all to ourselves for the week. Had to clean up goose poop every day from the beach and floating mat, but not much can be done about the geese. Saw flocks as big as 35 swimming by!

Our 3-generation family spent a week here at the end of June. The check-in process went smoothly and we were able to get into the property without issue. We had an incident with another family showing up during our stay mistakenly thinking they had booked the property for the same days, but the owner was easy to get in touch with and helped us resolve this issue right away. Upon arrival we were disappointed with the cobwebs and dirt on the outdoor furniture, bird poop all over the dock, a bathroom that appeared not to have been cleaned, and a downstairs sink that poured water onto the floor because it wasn't connected. We cleaned these things up ourselves and then had a great week at the lake. The location is perfect and the views are beautiful. The "large sandy beach" was not quite as advertised and the shoreline was very weedy (there was a weed roller there but didn't seem to have been used recently) but the dock was sufficient to tie up a pontoon and speed boat and we enjoyed kayaking around the bay. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-equipped but much of the indoor furniture and beds were pretty low quality- tears in the leather couches, wobbly dining chairs, squeaky beds specifically. This review probably sounds nitpicky but for the cost we felt like these things would have been more attended to. Overall we would definitely recommend the property but a few minor fixes and updates would make the place perfect!

My 7 buddies, friends for over 35 years, and I could not have chosen a better place to stay for our golf weekend.
The home is so well designed that 8 adults never felt crowded and yet it has a cozy feel to it. Kitchen was well appointed for the chef in our group and the fire pit was an A+.
We will be back, if they'll have us.

This property is absolutely beautiful and perfect for large family or friend gatherings. We had 4 families stay here (total of 16 people), with kids ranging from ages 2 to 9. The kids loved the “bunkhouse” sleeping area, movie nights and playing in the basement, and direct access to the lake for ice fishing. The basement is also great for the adults to play cards/games at night after the kids have gone to bed, as sound does travel pretty easily from the main level to the upstairs. The only bummer was that the ice skating area was not cleared off, but with the amount of snow that we have had this year, it was understandable. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

This was our second stay at this home. Perfect for our early Thanksgiving family gathering. The sunset views by the fire pit are some of our favorite things about this home. Everything was clean and as described. A very lovely place to stay!

We loved staying at this property! The house is beautiful, modern, comfortable and clean. It has a great basement for teens to hangout in. We enjoyed using the fire pit in the backyard in the evenings. This property is close to Cross Lake. Some of us enjoyed trail biking and others enjoyed shopping. Kari was an efficient and quick communicator. We would highly recommend this house for your next getaway.

We have stayed at this property over four times now. Lots of room for everyone! Beautiful lake and sunsets. Perfect time away from the craziness of home. We love having two fridges for all our beverages and the kitchen has many useful tools and even a crockpot for perfect fall meals. We will be back again!

Family Vacation
My wife and I have 8 kids ranging from 6 months to 11 years old. The swimming is great with the sandy bottom. We brought up a pontoon which was difficult to manage with the tight tree line going into the way properties are set up in this part of Minnesota, but doable. The neighbors are great with young kids too. The lodging is more than we need and nicer than we need which is why we booked again...second time being at this property. The cooking set up is hard to complain about with the many pots, dishes, utensils, etc. The kids fished and caught right off the dock in late June. We were able to secure the pontoon to the dock which made for easy "quick" trips around the lakes. Brainerd has more things to do with kids (we've stayed in both areas) versus Crosslake area but the putt-putt golf and museums around Crosslake were fine for us. The town of Emily to the northeast has a nice little bait shop. Besides it being a 9 hour drive from here in Nebraska....I have no complaints.

Great house for us!
The house layout works well for our large family and is clean, fairly new and nicely decorated. The location is not too far for us to drive and the dock and beach area are great for our needs. The owners were very reachable when we needed them. We will be back!

Awesome house with very nice indoor and outdoor space
We did a quick weekend trip with couples and had a great time here. Plenty of sleeping options would be really good for families as well. Took advantage of the ping pong table, fire pit area, and outdoor dining. Great views and a good yard area for lawn games as well. Very clean and well kept. Excellent communication with the owners.

Christmas in March
This beautiful house was going to be our family Christmas celebration and changed to March because of a COVID outbreak. The host was accommodating in helping make the change. We had a fun time and enjoyed the large lower level game area. It was very clean and had a well-equipped. The beds and pillows were perfect.

Super nice place!
Not the ideal situation for snowmobiling, but other than that it's a great property. You won't find many places with as many beds. If you have multiple families of kids you could get 8-10 kids in the attic room alone and still have all the other bedrooms. Tons of room in the basement too.

Perfect!
This house was a wonderful winter weekend getaway for our family!!! We were bummed that there was no skating rink (as pictured in the photos) but it was probably due to the amount of snow! We were able to find a local community center outdoor rink which as great! Great communication with the owners! Our family couldn’t get over how comfy the sheets were! The place was so clean and had everything we could have anticipated for! So much fun! Highly recommend!

Great place for a group
We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in this beautiful home near Crosslake in February. The only little hiccup was the cleaning service had the day wrong and it wasn't clean when we arrived. But the owners were more than helpful, and the cleaners came during our dinner out with a nice apologetic note. Completely cleaned when we got back, comfy beds for all 14 of us women and plenty of space to relax and have conversations. I'd highly recommend this home for a family or friends gathering. It looks to be even better in the summer with the firepit and just steps to the lake.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful lake home with us!

We enjoyed this property in early November, and it was absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful sunsets over the lake every night - can only imagine how much fun this home would be in the summer. Plenty of room for large groups. Host was very communicative and helpful. We would gladly stay again!

Wonderful time at the lake
Had a wonderful stay with friends and their children. There were 3 families, we had more than enough beds and plenty of space to spread out. The beds were so comfortable. The location is peaceful but with access to the chain of lakes. The beach area was perfect. The kids spent all their time swimming, playing in the sand, and using the swim pad. Greatly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return with my extended family!
