About this house rental
Welcome to "Just One More..." our families home away from home. Our 3 bedroom 1.5 bath house is on a corner street just a few blocks from the water (a 10 min walk!) and a short golf cart or bike ride away from the the Main Street in town - where you will find our favorite bakery, pizza shop, candy store and more! The rooms are as follows: (with all linens and towels included)

While you stay you are welcome to use our beach equipment and toys, play our games, set up our corn hole boards, and ride our bikes! You may want to make arrangements to rent a golf cart while you're in town as well- it makes short trips to and from the beach and the main street a breeze! (Ask about an added fee to rent our cart, which seats 4!) Please make our home yours with a fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs, an outdoor propane grill, a large dining room table perfect for family game night, 3 Smart TVs, and a strong wifi signal throughout.

We have been to Cape Charles numerous times over the past 5 years. The homes in town are older “historic” homes, most of which have been renovated. This property was no exception. The owner was very accommodating to changing the dates of our check-in/check out due to a death in the family. This was much appreciated! The exterior of the property is great! Nice fenced in back yard. The back deck was very inviting as was the front porch. The shed has numerous beach chairs, sand toys, bikes, kayak and games. The golf cart was an added bonus and worked just fine. The interior of the home has obviously been updated. It is very bright, spacious and inviting. However, there were numerous marks on the walls - much more then what we have seen staying at several rental properties over the years. Also, there were several spider webs (with spiders) in the ceilings that I removed as well as an ant problem in the kitchen on the counter. We had to clean the refrigerator shelfs before placing our food in it. We also found a pair of underwear (not ours) in the king bed upon check in. We chalked this up to maybe just getting lost in the sheets when washed? The dining area table was very nice and accommodating. The floors were all very clean. Carpet was noticeably vacuumed. The beds were very comfortable. Shower was nice, pressure was fine and plenty of soap was provided. Other than the small issues above we were happy with the stay.

This was our second year at this place. Our family loved it! It was great for our children with the fenced in back yard and optional golf cart. House is clean, comfortable and convenient.

Awesome house for a visitiing family of 5. The 3 boys loved the room with a bunk bed, the master bedroom is huge and the the third bedroom is plenty big as well. The front porch is welcoming, kitchen is spacious, back deck and fenced in backyard are perfect for evening chill time, it's the best!

We had a wonderful stay at Heather's property. The house was clean and very kid friendly. We enjoyed the golf cart and the fenced in backyard. The proximity to the beach is just a short golf cart ride away. Cape Charles is such a gem and we can't wait to visit again!

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The house was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed and more. This is the perfect quiet location within a short walk or golf cart ride to everything. Easy check in and out procedure. The hosts were wonderful. We will definitely be back!!

House was exactly as described and more. Very clean and comfortable stay. Plenty of amenities provided so that travel can be made easier. Heather was communicative and responsive as needed. If you have kids between 3-10, this house really knocks it out of the park with games and toys.

Our family (3 adults, 2 kids teen/tween age) had a great stay. The rental was very well taken care of (not always a given!), and was a great space for the week. Of particular note, we really enjoyed the ample living space - plenty of room for 5 people to sit and sprawl, to sit and eat/play games, etc. - as well as the outdoor space - fantastic level back yard and awesome deck area. Little touches also made this house a huge win - although we brought our own beach towels and toys/gear, it was nice that the house had those things available for use as well (it spared us having to blow up our own inner tubes! ;-)); the ability to add on the golf cart was so nice - we always rent a cart for toodling around town and to the beach, and it was seamless to do so directly from the owner; and it was nice that the house came with an assortment of books and games, etc. (also some toys for little ones - my kids are older, but stuff like that would have been HUGE for us several years ago!). Everyone in my family loved the house - and it isn't always easy to please folks ranging from 12 to 72! :-)

We had a great time at “Just One More”. It was perfect for my husband, myself, and our three kiddos (6,4, and 2). The fenced in yard is great for kids and having the golf cart is a definite perk. We hope to be able to return to his this house in the future.

This place is exactly as pictured! Great place and location! You definitely want to rent a golf cart to get to and from the beach if you have little ones. The golf cart also comes in handy to shop, get ice cream, and go miniature golfing too! Easy check-in and out. Heather is a fabulous host! We will be back again!

This was our third stay at this property and we love it just as much as we did the first time we came. Hoping to get back in 2024. The owner is easy peasy to work with and the house is well appointed.

My family came to this property for our first Cape Charles experience and had a great week! We are a family with a 18 month old and 3.5 year old and everything exceeded our expecations. The house was clean and we were happy with everything offerered. We had a few interactions with messaging the owner simple questions and she was quick to reply and easy to contact which was really nice.
We plan on coming back and definitely hope to book this place again! It was less than 5 minute ride via golf cart to everything we wanted to see in Cape Charles.

We had a wonderful stay at Heather’s property! Very clean, updated, bright, fresh, comfortable, and well stocked, even with toys for my toddler. We especially loved relaxing on the shaded front porch. The house was so close to the wedding venue (oyster farm) and my extended family’s house on strawberry street. It was so nice to rent the golf cart through heather and have it right at the property when we arrived. Great communication with host and easy to check in/out. Would definitely recommend this listing to everyone!

Great place to stay. Very clean and lots of space. Plenty of games and activities for kids. The beach in Cape Charles is very shallow and perfect for small kids. For teens and adults a little deeper water would be preferred but the town itself and everything else about our stay was perfect.

This home was so comfortable for our group of 4 children and 4 adults. Our favorite features are the fenced in yard, comfortable furniture/new decor, nice sheets and towels, plethora of family games, and golf cart! Flawless rental experience and would come again. “Just One More” is a large lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood located minutes from the beach, the Marina & Oyster Farm - one of the best restaurants we’ve eaten at ! The home has a wonderful fenced yard & beautiful deck to enjoy the outdoors. 3 bedrooms & all the amenities you could ask for ! Front porch for lazy afternoons…all in all a great find in Cape Charles ! And you can even rent a golf cart from the owner. Heather went above & beyond as a host. She was very responsive (within minutes) to any questions we had. We would not hesitate to stay there again

Heather provided everything that our family needed for our quick getaway. We really wanted to just relax and have quality time together, and she made it SO EASY! The property was just the right size for our large family…plenty of space but still cozy. The kitchen was well equipped. The use of the golf cart was priceless. Heather was super quick to respond when we needed her. This was our first time in Cape Charles and our stay was perfect. Thank you!

Our family had a great time at “just one more.” We loved the fenced in back yard and back deck and our kids loved all the games and toys. The location is a perfect mix of quite and convenient. Straight shot down Jefferson to the beach access and easy cart ride to town or even walking/bike ride to the oyster farm. We stayed here over a long weekend in October and the weather was still great and there was plenty for the whole family to do. The house had everything we needed, was clean and very comfortable. I definitely recommended this house and would stay here again.

We had a wonderful week at Just One More. Heather was very helpful and even reached out during a brief storm power outage. Past renters had left quite a bit of pantry items in the kitchen, limiting our space and the fans were needed to cool down the upstairs bedrooms in the evenings. But all told it was a great rental. Thanks again!

This was my second stay at Heathers property and it’s such a lovely getaway. The house is clean. The beds are some of the only I’ve ever actually been able to sleep in away from home. All of the creature comforts you could possibly want with the added bonus of a responsive host that obviously takes pride in her home!

Another memorable stay
We had such a wonderful time staying here last summer that we wanted to return again this year. Just One More has everything you need to enjoy a stay in Cape Charles. It's a short, beautiful walk to the beach from the house, it has a conveniently fenced and private backyard, and it's the perfect, cozy welcome at the end of a long day in the sun. We will be back again in the future!

Great house with all the amenities!
We had a great stay at Heather's beach house! The house was loaded with extras...beach stuff, bikes, plenty of towels, toiletries, board games, etc. We loved the fenced backyard and sitting area out back. The king bed was super comfy! We would definitely stay here again.

What a great house - we stayed for Memorial Day Weekend and it had everything we needed: coffee, comfy beds, plush towels, a great fenced- in backyard for the kids to run around in. A wonderful home in a charming town
We celebrated Easter in Cape Charles, and this property was nothing short of delightful. We had everything we needed, including a golf cart for quick trips to the beach, the park and downtown. Our kids loved the big fenced-in backyard, and we thoroughly enjoyed seeing the beauty of the area. We look forward to another stay, hopefully soon. Thank you, Heather and Chris!

We ate lunch on the back deck, drove around town in the golf cart (extra fee, but worth it) and enjoyed exploring town in the off season. The house is exactly as pictured. We had everything we needed during our stay and then some.. we even used the Crock Pot and tea kettle in the kitchen (nice to haves!). Wonderful communication with Heather before and throughout our stay. We can't wait come back during regular season and take advantage of more that Cape Charles has to offer! Also, thank you for offering a pet friendly rental. It is such a bonus to bring our dog with us.

Super clean, beautifully decorated, and lots of niceties. The kids loved exploring the games and toys, and we really appreciated the provided amenities such as soap and toilet paper. Beds were comfy. Great location - easy to get to everything within minutes. Heather's messaging was always super quick, friendly, and helpful. We would definitely like to come back again!

Great Getaway secret in Cape Charles
Loved working directly through the owners rather than through a rental agency. The home was in beautiful shape with a great fenced in yard for the dogs we had with us. They keep the home very clean and super ready for the next vacationer ready for a relaxing stay on the nice big lighted porch or a short woak to the beautiful beach. Will stay for sure again!!

Fun December weekend at just one more
We had a lovely stay at this home. The house had plenty of space for our family and the backyard is awesome! We rented the golf cart and that was the highlight of the trip for our kids. Heather was a great host and stayed in touch before and during our stay. Great little getaway and would definitely recommend this home! Oh and Festive Friday’s during the holiday season is so fun! Definitely make the trip for this during the off season

Exceptional Property!
My family stayed in this home for the Thanksgiving holiday. Plenty of room, very clean, golf cart was a definite plus. My grandkids loved riding in it! Yard is super for kids and pets. Good location!
Nice beachy decor!
Our only suggestion is some newer towels and an electric can opener is much needed! We absolutely loved our stay at “Just One More” and can’t wait to come back!
