About this house rental

This house is located close to golf course, both indoor and outdoor pool including hot tub. The great room and the nice view of golf course from the back porch is very relaxing. Two leather recliner one that massages. Great place to enjoy yourself , and it's a gated community. South Padre Island is just a short ride over the bridge. Long Island is the neighboring island. There is also access to boat dock if you enjoy fishing, Check in is at 4:00 and 3:30 on Sunday . There is an 90 dollar parking and arm band fee so you can enjoy the amenities. This is a Long Island administrative fee, it does not go into my pocket. This fee is per family per month. Please enjoy your stay. This fee is nothing I have control over. This is a bill from the gated community, please note that after a 30 day stay the front desk will assess another 90 fee. . There is now a discounted rate of 30 percent off for the month of September, October, November, and December

Loved my stay the house was proper for me and my family location was perfect. Everything was 3 minutes away, kids enjoyed the coziness. We are very thankful for this stay.

Property was clean for the most part, a few dusty places here and there. Resort is wonderful with lots of great amenities and activities! The AC unit had a hard time getting the whole house cool, especially the kitchen and living space where there was only a fan and no vents. There were plenty of dishes and pots and pans to use, but there is no dishwasher. It is not listed in the property description or list of amenities, but should be noted that you have to hand wash the dishes. The kitchen sink is very big, so handwashing worked fine. Over all, we enjoyed our stay!

The property was very clean and everything was working. The a/c could've been a little better as the bedrooms stayed cool but the kitchen and livingroom was a little humid at times. But all four of us had a good time and the place was very clean and suited us. The security was great. They do their jobs very well. Woke me up at 2:30 am as they thought I was tresspassing. So I felt very protected and glad we had security. Will stay again if we ever come back.

Joe's house is neatly decorated and a fun little place to stay while we remodeled our sea cottage. He was accommodating to our last minute needs. I love Long Island Village and this house is in a good location if you are using the amenities. I always thought those by the road weren't very private but we hung out in the back yard and it felt very private since the area is lower down and had the fence blocking it.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful house! We cooked while on vacation and Joe had all the needed cookware and utensils. My boys were thrilled to have their own room with adequate space. The house had tons of beachy decor which really made it feel like vacation. Definitely worth every penny! Everything was very clean which is always comforting to make you feel right at home. Thanks for sharing your home with us Joe! Will recommend

This 'lil bungalow' was extremely comfortable and quaint. It just felt so homey. It had everything we needed to enjoy everyday. It's not extravagant, which we like, but just so relaxing. One neat little twist to the place is you get to see the sunrise out the patio doors and later thru the screen door you get to enjoy the sunset. The patio was perfect for enjoying morning coffee and later lunch and later relaxing. The washer / dryer was very helpful. Next time we won't bring so many clothes. The area is quiet and friendly. We loved it here.

Property was in a great area, the golf course was pretty nice and the Long Island Village residents are super people. Joe is an amazing guy and easy to communicate with and always responds to any questions pretty fast.

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for. It was perfect for two adults and two children. The boys loved the bunk beds! Long Island Village was clean, safe and had plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained. Will definitely be returning next year.

I enjoyed the property. There were doggy bag waste stations stocked with bags for walks with my little dogs. There was plenty of hot water for showers. There were dishes to cook with. This was a great place to stay! There is one complaint. We were denied access by the front office to fish off the dock because we didn't have a boat. No big deal, we paid to fish off the pirate pier by the causeway.

I had a great experience at this property. Its a gated community and it is pleasant and quiet. We all loved the patio, the breeze was amazing at night. Joe is a great host 10/10!

We stayed at Joe's property for 9 days vacation with our 2 large dogs. Overall, it was very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our daughter loved the bunk bed room and the dogs were over the moon with our daily walks around the village and trips to the beach. Upon our arrival the house was clean except for a couple minor things ( there was a tray with food crumbs in the microwave and some dishes were not washed well) but honestly, it was not a big deal to us We also brought our own small vacuum cleaner to keep the dog hair and the sand under control. Overall, I will give this property 5 stars because it was convenient and enjoyable and the communication with the owner was really easy and fast. Keep in mind that the community charges $90 for the parking and the use of amenities. Although we don't play golf, we actually loved the outdoor pool and a little cafe there. Thank you for letting us stay at your property, Joe. We will be back for sure.

This is almost like a large tiny home. It's very well laid out and set up for vacation. Our girls loved the two small rooms with bunk beds. We would love to come back again.

We really loved our stay in this villa and all that Port Isabel/S Padre Island had to offer. When the weather was beautiful we loved the beach and pool. When the temps were a big cooler, the indoor amenities were perfect for our family! So much to do and everyone was really nice! The place had everything we needed for our family, and Joe was so great at providing information. We highly recommend this for a getaway!

A comfortable, relaxing, and roomy place that is a plus for any vacation. Love the atmosphere and all the friendly people that surround you. The amenities are excellent and the weather is mostly nice. The only drawback is the bridge which can delay any travels around town. But then again it shouldn't be a problem since you're not on the clock.

This is a great place to unwind. The recliner in the living area is the MOST COMFY ever! The amenities are great. We loved the salt water heated pool and hot tub. Joe, the owner is super awesome in answering questions.

We loved every minute of being here. We are a family of 4 with one giant mastiff dog and there was more than enough space for all. My kids enjoyed the 2 sets of bunk beds. Each had their own space so no fighting. The master bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. All necessities available in the kitchen. The amenities are a huge plus and worth the $80. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the patio watching people play golf with the sun rising. Food options are endless nearby and South Padre Island is just a few minutes away. We will definitely be back.

This was a great clean place to stay for my family. Very easy check in and out. It was comfortable for all 4 of us and it would of fit 2 more just fine. All of our guests were all over the age of 25. It was slightly warm downstairs but nothing unbearable. One box fan down there would solve this. But no big deal. The second level stayed cool which was great for sleeping. The bathrooms were clean with warm water and the tv worked great. No issues and great onsite amenities very short drive to beach.

This was a wonderful location! We booked here because of the amenities offered. The drive to the island was beautiful over the causeway. Port Isabel was a great place to stay and the price was great! The pool and hot tub were wonderful to relax in after a day at the beach in the salt.
