Step through the front door to an open floor plan and 15' wood ceilings. A wall of floor to ceiling windows greet you with a perfect marriage of mountain and lake views that can only be described as breathtaking. Trust us, the pictures cannot do this view justice! The modern, sophisticated design elements and furnishings found throughout this home are akin to what you’d experience at the finest hotels. As you make your way into the living room, a striking slate wall with linear fireplace invites you to curl up on the plush leather sofa or sit in shearling swivel chairs, able to face either the fireplace or stunning views of the mountain lake. Sonos speaker systems on both levels allow you to enjoy the game on the TV or relax to your favorite tunes. A custom-built 100+ year old live edge Elm table found in the center of the living room exemplifies the unique glamour of Capstone. There is also a convenient half bath off the main living area with a one-of-a-kind live edge vanity. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and ready to serve with beautiful Italian stainless-steel appliances and espresso maker. The impressive marble waterfall island and matching slab backsplash, along with custom maple cabinets elevate the look to new heights.
Gather around the large indoor dining table under a beautiful iron tree branch chandelier or head outside and enjoy an al fresco dinner on the deck at a large dining table overlooking Lake Blue Ridge. Follow dinner by an enchanting fire in front of the outdoor fireplace while roasting smores. The master bedroom and bath can be found to the right side of the upper living space through a sliding barn door. With a king size memory foam bed, 15’ wood ceilings, 55” TV and its own private, fabulous lake view and deck area, this room can be your very own retreat. The spa-like master bath is tiled with river rock, and complete with a freestanding bathtub and a walk-in shower with body spray. The upper level of this home also boasts a second king bedroom with memory foam mattress, 50-inch tv, stone accent wall and a full bath with walk in tile shower.
The lower level of this home is where the real fun begins! The open concept great room has a large leather sectional and 86" flat screen TV, alongside a game room and wet bar. Enjoy a game of pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, darts or corn hole while entertaining at the bar, or wind down with a soak in the top-of-the-line hot tub, large enough to seat 6-7 adults, overlooking beautiful lake and mountain vistas. The lower level also boasts 2 king bedrooms with memory foam mattresses, stunning views and 50" TVs. Children of all ages will also have a blast with the 4 bunks, complete with reading lights, located on the lower level.
This home may have you feeling relaxed and secluded, but with fiber internet and excellent cell phone service you can easily stay connected to the people and things you need to. Electric car owners can also stay connected with a 240V charger. Tucked away, but not far away, this fabulous mountain retreat is only a short 15-minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge and minutes from beautiful National Forest Service hiking/biking trails and Lake Blue Ridge.
