We had an amazing time at this home. It’s in a gorgeous location on the lake to watch sunset and boat over to Plumas Pines for lunch or dinner. The house itself was beyond well appointed! It had absolutely everything you need and more. The bedrooms and bathrooms felt very luxurious. We had a wonderful time and will certainly book it again sometime.

Loved our stay only wish it were longer 3 nights isn’t long enough after a five hour drive from the bayarea. Lots of attention to detail with snacks and games. Bed were very comfortable.

We had a wonderful time at the lake house. Honestly, the pictures in the listing don't do it justice. The views and access to Lake Almanor are simply stunning, and the house was kept immaculate for our arrival. Everyone had a wonderful time.

The home was all we hoped for and more! The view was stunning and the house itself was absolutely perfect for our family getaway… clean, spacious and comfortable. Dee and Russell clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making sure their guests feel welcome and at home during their stay.

This is a beautiful home and beautifully appointed. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning high above the trees with breath taking views of the lake. Also our family loved viewing the stars at night in our live planetarium, spotting satelights and shooting stars. You will love this home, the lake views and the walks within the neighborhood. A very special place! We were also so grateful for the attention and the kindness provided to us by the property managers. Lake Almoner is a place we will always visit.

I think we saw Lake Almanor at its best! Warm/hot weather, slight breeze, glassy lake! Our 6 grandkids had a blast! Many water "toys". Plenty of space and "alone time" areas inside and outside the house. Loved the 3 decks and the various sitting areas on the property. Views are amazing! The beds were comfy. We slept like babies. I loved being in the Country Club. I felt so safe. We had access to many activities. Thanks for a wonderful, memorable vacation!

Had a great stay. Great to get back to the lake and relax, even with a few days of exciting weather to endure. The house and dock were fantastic.

View was incredible. Arrived with snow on the ground and the home warmed up quickly. During our stay, we had a power outage and the generator kicked on in minutes - very important in the winter months. Never turned a tv on - just enjoyed the company and view.

Beautiful home with all the amenities you would want. Stayed with two families and 5 kids under 7. All bedrooms were clean and nicely decorated. Only thought - if you’re staying with a baby, bring gates as there are a ton of stairs!! Host is extremely communicative and responsive. Wonderful trip!

We loved the many different gathering spaces provided by the house, including the huge wraparound porch and two tiered levels with seating areas and a fire pit. The hot tub was awesome, and the kitchen is big enough to accommodate lots of cooks (often a challenge in rental houses). We had no problem working with the property manager, and the checkin process couldn't be easier. A fantastic view and lots of parking round out a spectacular vacation house!!

The property was just as advertised. Beautiful home on the lake with dock, decks and great amenities. Dee was great as the property manager and was there when needed to help. Unfortunately, our stay was cut short by the Dixie fire, but my entire family really enjoyed the house and we would come again in the future.

We were able to spend 5 days at this beautiful house with the most amazing view of the lake. From the minute you enter the front door, it feels like your home. We found the house to be extremely clean and well stocked. Gathering each morning at the coffee bar, we would then head to the fire pit, on the lower deck, where we would enjoy our coffee while planning our day. The beds were very comfortable with great linens. The master bath, beautiful! Lots of space to spread out. The bottom floor family room, with access to the lower deck, was a great place to watch a movie at night. We spent most of time outside enjoying both decks, watching the sunset and enjoying the views of the lake. The hot tub in the evening was a relaxing way to end the day. There were bicycles available for our use. I think they were brand new and quite fun to ride around the area. Russ and Dee were wonderful hosts. I had a couple of questions for Dee and she responded immediately. Very easy to work with. We would like to thank Russ for sharing his home so we would could spend time together with family.

The home is beautiful and well set up to take full advantage of the lake view. The split level design worked well to give everyone their own space when it was needed. The owner took special care to have a dental kit, makeup wipes and soap available, along with plenty of plates, pots, pans, etc. in the kitchen. We will be booking again this summer!
