Enjoy this private oasis at the summit of Cream Hill nestled in picturesque Northwest CT. This property, at the end of a private drive, showcases spectacular mountain views of the surrounding area and the distant Catskill Mountains. The house offers numerous common areas and features an expansive deck ideal for taking in glimpses of wildlife and beautiful evening sunsets. Numerous outdoor activities await including skiing at Mohawk Ski Area, hiking the Appalachian Trail or just breathing the fresh air. Meander across the rural picturesque landscapes to nearby quaint villages with working farms and markets. We do have outside cameras for security purposes.

This is our second year staying with at Karen and Larry’s property and it did not disappoint. They are incredible hosts and their home is conveniently located near the Lime Rock Track (less than 3 miles).
It’s a beautiful and peaceful setting and extremely comfortable home. We highly recommend.

The photos online do not do it justice. The deck and view are incredible especially at sunset. We only had one good sunset unfortunately as rain clouds rolled in on our second evening / night. Lots of deer roaming, a few bats, a frog and a black squirrel were also spotted around too. Overall a beautiful house inside and out accommodated by amazing hosts! Highly recommend this place

Everything about this beautiful house was absolutely perfect!
First of course is the extraordinary view. We saw it at Christmas time, and it was mesmerizing and enchanting, even without snow. The light and clouds put on a show, illuminated and transforming the different mountain ridges and peaks all day long. On the horizon to the north is the imposing silhouette of Mount Washington. So far it is the most spectacular view I have ever seen in the Berkshires, or from a Vrbo rental anywhere.
There was abundant wildlife, including a family of five bluebirds, hawks and deer. Coyote and Canada geese made us feel we were deep in Nature.
At the same time, we were minutes away from civilization, such as the picture perfect towns of Falls Village and Salisbury, and the restaurants of Litchfield. My adult children adored skiing at the incredibly quaint Mohawk Mountain. The farms and woods and colonial architecture in the area are extremely picturesque, including on the road on which this property is located.
Equally perfect was the exceptional hospitality of the owners. They furnish the house to anticipate your every need. I felt I was at a luxury resort! In our case, there was a Christmas tree, a fireplace ready to be lit, a notably generous welcome basket of goodies, coffee and tea galore, etc, etc. The pictures do not do justice to the superbly well maintained and well laid out house. Everything feels fresh and clean beyond belief.

We had a great time. We enjoyed sipping coffee in the mornings and looking out over the mountains. Sunsets were gorgeous. Wonderful family time with the kids in the basement...playing games, watching movies, putting together puzzles. Close proximity to skiing and beautiful drives through the countryside. This home is wonderful. Our hosts thought of everything. It was decorated including a Christmas tree. There we’re fresh flowers, a goodie basket, a supply of tea and coffee, half and half in the refrigerator, and the fire prepared to light. We really enjoyed the views. The area was fun to explore. We will consider returning for a summer music festival. Very comfortable. Thanks for a very relaxing three days.

We really enjoined our stay. The view is amazing to wake up to. The home was perfectly cleaned and well equipped. The only thing more perfect was the communications with our hosts. I highly recommend this home. For racers: it’s only 10 minutes to Limerock and has a great deck to relax after a fast paced day.

A Little Slice of Heaven
My family and I had an amazing stay at this beautiful mountaintop retreat. The house was extremely clean and the host went above and beyond to ensure a hospitable experience. The views were breathtaking, especially at sunset; the mountains in the horizon seemed endless. The location was convenient in that it was close to several quaint villages. The pool table was also a fun addition. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

We used Lawrence and Karen's property to get ready for my wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and the perfect location for this event. The view of the mountains is amazing. The house was very clean. Great hosts!
We had such a great stay at this property that I would have to write a short book to cover it all. Instead, just a few brief but great impressions: great hosts who went the extra mile to ensure we had a terrific stay, from the welcome snack basket, to the extra toiletries and amazing quality soaps, to ensuring that we always had an easy way out even during a snow storm (thank you, Larry, for coming twice in one day to shovel us out), to the fun games downstairs. We rarely had to lift a finger. Highly recommend staying here! Thank you, Karen and Larry!

This place is amazing!
I truly mean all of the five star reviews. The property was wonderful, the view from the entire back part of the house was breathtaking. The basement was one huge entertainment center, with a pool table, bar, giant L couch, flatscreen TV, and an arts and activities table. But probably the best part of the house are the hosts! A couple days before arrival they sent me an entire list of helpful information and places of interest in the area. They had a basket of yummy treats, and other things I would not expect. I highly recommend this property, and would love to return myself!

Tranquil getaway with majestic views!
We loved the house and property, and were completely blown away by the unobstructed views of the mountains. One day a family of deer came into the meadow for a while, and we got to watch hawks gliding overhead and landing on the fantastic lone tree in the meadow. The entire area is just magical. The house itself is very comfortable, we had lots of fun playing pool. Karen and Larry are the consummate hosts.

Lovely weekend with a view
We had a great weekend at Karen and Larry’s house. The kids loved all the games on the lower level and we all loved the working fireplace. But the best part was the view! It was amazing in the winter, so I can only imagine how nice it is in the spring or autumn!

This is a wonderful property including a beautiful home with many amenities and absolutely amazing Mountain views. We visited the area to ski the local CT mountains. Only minutes drive to Mohawk Mountain. The property owners are amazing and very accommodating. We would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away from it all.
