About this house rental

Accommodation for a quiet couple's getaway, friends weekend or families holidaying together, this house provides space for all. Your Beachfront escape starts the moment you walk in and see the view. Sit back and relax to the sounds and views of the Ocean, Mayor Island, Aldermans, Karewa and The Mount in this well positioned home with beach access straight across the road. The permanently dog friendly stretch of beach starts 100metres from the house and goes all the way to Bowentown. A short 5 minute stroll to the dairy for ice-cream & fish and chip shop, plus the bike trail just around the corner.
Holidaying is made easy in this spacious two level home with an open planned Dining/Kitchen and Living area that flows out to the deck with BBQ and deck furniture to enjoy those Kiwi Summers. Two bedrooms along with a bathroom with separate toilet all upstairs. On the ground floor, enjoy the rumpus room with SmartTV, Board Games and Outside game, along with complimentary unlimited wi-fi throughout the house. Two more bedrooms and the Laundry with Shower and Toilet complete the ground level.

Walk outside to the spacious fully fenced section, to keep the kids or your furry friend safe. Plenty of room to pitch a tent and still leaving enough space to park cars or the boat. NB: the garage on property is not available for guest use

This home is not only a great base for the beach, but also for exploring the picturesque coastal walks to Orokawa and Homunga Bay plus the many Karangahake walkways, bike trail, as well as the Martha and Union Hill gold mining areas.

PLEASE NOTE: Under Kiwi Bach tradition you are expected to: Bring your own linen (sheets, pillow cases & towels) All beds are provided with a mattress protector, duvet, pillows and pillow protectors. All linen is laundered between each stay.
The Sofa Bed is Queen Size and is in the Rumpus Room.

A great home for a relaxing weekend away with family , ages ranging from 1-69. The deck with sea view was also able to be secured for the little ones. Was amazing to be able to bring the pooches as well . Highly recommend

Wow! Can't say enough good things about this property. So well set up for families (and dogs). Everything you need, plus some. Very friendly and helpful property owner with great communication. Location was perfect, close to everything you need. Would definitely stay again, recommend to all.

Beached on Broadway is the perfect house for a family holiday. A beautiful home with lots of room and a stunning view of the sea. The beach is just across the road. The house is extremely well equipped and has everything you could ever need. It's great for kids and extended family - and what's more you can take your dog! Communication with the owner was easy and pleasant. I would highly recommend this property and we'll definitely stay again. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us.

Very comfortable home in a great location for enjoying the beach and riding the bike trail. Loved sitting on the deck watching the cargo ships. The kitchen has everything you need and the number of appliances is impressive. We will definitely return.

Our family loved our week at Waihi Beach. The Bach is in a fantastic location and very well equipped. Clean and easy to get to. Local dairy nearby and Surf Shack (excellent Burger/lunch spot) is an easy walk away. Great location to have a relaxing holiday at.

Friends and I had an absolutely amazing time staying here over the Easter weekend. The location it fantastic being right by the beach and the bach has a lovely relaxed feel with awesome views of the sea. Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, beds comfy and had lots of games to keep us entertained. We all had a great time and would certainly recommend to anyone! Thanks so much for having us

Aside, from the stunning views, sunny decks and beautiful sunrises, this property has everything your could need to enjoy your holiday. The beds & pillow are super comfortable, the house was spotless clean, large fenced section and it easily accommodated our large group. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise. Would definitely recommend.

First of all, Rach is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Excellent communication and very easy to chat with. Nice of you to send a message when the area lost power. The property is very well set up for a larger family group like ours. Plenty of space - the variety of board games were a hit. Deck and views to the Ocean are amazing. Thanks for having us at such short notice.

The house was absolutely perfect for our family of 6 adults to have a beach getaway. The location is stunning, the property had everything you could hope for and more. You can tell the owners had thought of all the small details and the host was so helpful and had great communication. The beds are super comfy which is always a bonus! We are a family of 6 adults and 2 little ones under the age of 2 who fitted very comfortably into the 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house. It was great having the 2 different living spaces as we spent alot of time indoors as the weather was shocking. Rach communicates promptly and is very helpful. I would recommend for larger groups.

A fabulous location and beautifully presented home with everything we could possibly need/want for indoor and outdoor fun regardless of the weather. An extremely well appointed kitchen made cooking a breeze, the bathrooms were spotless with lovely products for our use and our furry friend was well catered for with toys and food bowls. Our hostess was extremely accommodating and easy to contact when necessary. I highly recommend this property.

A wonderful place for three generations to holiday in a comfortable and spacious home. Despite stormy rain 5/6 days, we had lots of fun! The facilities provided (games/ books/ rumpus room/spacious garage/ beach toys) were welcome. Great location and view so close to the beach. Thank you!

Amazing beachfront view access to beach and fishing.Rachel is a fantastic host, excellent communication and appreciated her special attention to details. The house was spotless plenty of room for two families and great selection of games, books and beach accessories making it a highlight of our trip.The Welcome gifts were a lovely surprise!

Superb location looking out to Mayor island from lovely expansive deck.House was immaculate ,,decorated in christmas theme great selection of games & books etc, many hours spent playing corn hole!! We had an awesome holiday, it’s the perfect location. The house was very clean and welcoming. Our dog had an awesome time too, the house is fully fence and has plenty of space for dogs to run around. Lots of fun activities/games in the house. Great communication with the hoist, she was lovely and quick to answer any inquiries. We will definitely be going back this summer!

Lovely property with everything you could need for a short break. The location was fantastic, so close to the beach and wonderful to have a fully fenced and gated section which meant that puppy was free to run around also. Fabulous host who was so accommodating ... all in all it was just a really great place to stay!

We (two families) very much enjoyed our stay in Rach’s lovely bach. The property is perfect for dogs as it’s fully fenced (high fence!) Everything was very clean&tidy and the beds are super comfy. The location is great too. We’ll be back for sure:) Thank you Rach

The house is in a fabulous part of the beach and filled with sunshine all day. Everything was supplied for all weathers and all ages and there were many extra, thoughtful touches. Including for pets!! We all had a fabulous stay with a wet and wild week followed by hot sunny days. The home is superb.
