Very cool layout, good hostel vibes, very close to the beach, room was super clean+comfortable+functional, shower was nice and warm!! Breakfast in the morning is so good. Beach itself is really good for bars and meeting other people. Veronica is so lovely and made us feel super welcome (shoutout to Swell the dog too). Aircon is fabulous.
Literally the only thing, which was our fault, is just to make sure to book a taxi the day before leaving as it’s not as easy as in a city. But Veronica helped us with it! So thank you to her

I liked that it was opened and in nature and the prices per night are good compared to other hotels I researched there where they seem to not pay attention to the decoration of its surroundings or inside of their rooms. Also I thought the beach was further away but it's quite near or maybe it's my perception.
There are no vegan options for included breakfast or even in the normal menu, I think it'll be quite easy to include something low cost on it, it's just a matter of planning and research.

Sinceramente.

The place is nearby the beach, quiet, surrounded forest and peaceful
The draining sink of the bathroom looks a little old and rush, has and dirty appearance, but works very good. The hot water on the tub was not work properly.

It's a nice concept. But, it needs to be improved, I think it is something managerial, it is not well managed. There's not enough stuff to cover the whole hotel. The stuff is incredible. Very kind and they try to do the best they can. Thanks for that.
The cleanliness of the bathrooms is terrible. It is something that they should improve a lot, especially when they are shared with more guests.

i loved that it was quite close to the beach and they are pet friendly. the breakfast choices are amazing and they do keep everything pretty clean and tidy.
im giving this stay a fair because on several occasions there was no electricity. first on arrival and then on my last night from 4am until who knows when because i was checking out that day and still no power.
i know they might say its not up to them but the area, but actually the hotel is responsible for providing a solution when this happens, why? because we are paying for a service that is not rendered completely, if you can provide the full service then you can’t charge a full price, as simple as that. very dissappointed that this hotel has been open for more than a year and they have no power plant or even a way to compensate guests. it shows they are unprepared and are rookies to the business

Good location. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Room was small, but has good options to store your belongings. Shared bathrooms get cleaned daily.
Nao Venao is advertised as a 'Boutique' hostel, but could not quite live up to that in my experience:
- most days there was a light but noticable smell of urine outside in the lounge area
- a lot of the chairs in the restaurant and lounge area were broken
- the included breakfast had 3 options, but not one of them was healthy, unless you count sugary granola with sugared yoghurt and e few pieces of fruit. Portions are rather small, but that's subjective of course.
- the shared kitchen is very small for all the guests, not well equiped, and very dirty (especially the fridge)
- a lot of dead plants in pots, which does not add to the 'boutique' vibe
For me, the matrasses on the bed was way to soft to sleep comfortable and pain free, but I guess that's a matter of preference.

breakfast was very poor

Breakfast was excellent and the attitude of the staff was very kind
The kitchen is too small for the number of people, one refrigerator and not clean, there was a smell in the kitchen

It was a very nice experience, close to the beach, restaurants and all the good stuff.
The restrooms were very neat and clean. The availability of the kitchenette was good and we were able to keep our food safe and cook. Also very clean.
The patio area was really good, there are hammocks and swings all around.

We were really disappointed from our nights there. There was an electricity shortage our whole stay, We had no wifi so we couldn't use our phones, no hot water and no air-condition so it was really hard to sleep. The staff and the manager just ignored us and didn't even answer our messages and phone calls.

no electricity, breakfast was not there because of no electricity, toilets were far away especially at night really inconvenient

How the room was designed.
There’s no electricity generator, if there’s a power outage, as it happened to us, you will be stuck in a hot container during the day and night. You can of course open the window as well, and enjoy the guttural sounds, moaning and clapping noises of people having sex with “of course” their windows open. The heat in the container doesn’t dissipate until around 6:30 am and then by 7:00am its starts to heat up again. It was quite an awful experience and we had to leave.
Because there was no electricity, there was no breakfast, we couldn’t use the kitchen, or charge any of our devices, we didn’t get a refund for the last evening, but they did promise to give us another “free” night on another date, yet, I don’t know how free that is if I paid for something that was advertised but didn’t even get electricity for over 24 hours. it’s a disgrace.

The desk worker did his best.
The size of the room was not as advertised. Restrooms were outside the room and had to walk to.
