This cabin is in the perfect location and has AMAZING views!!
It has a lot of space and a lot of steps which isn’t great for carrying luggage and groceries up to the main floor and then more steps for the open loft bedroom. We were fine with it, but keep that in mind.
The bedrooms were a bit warm. We couldn’t lock the door when leaving because the code lock wasn’t working at the time we were there.
We had to watch our water use because it could run out. We had one towel & wash cloth per person.
The cabin needs some work for sure!! The railing on the nice deck is loose, there were can lights hanging down. The storage area is messy which is where the laundry is located. Couldn’t get the TV’s working in the bedrooms. There is a light on the stove/oven that stays on. I understand you wouldn’t want to put expensive things in a rental, but it could use some updating.

My wife and I spent four nights here during spring break, and we really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful environment that it afforded. The views of sunrise over the lake were gorgeous, and the location really is ideal with both a brewery and a winery right below us on the hill!

The house was clean and comfortable. The sun and moon rise from the front porch were absolutely stunning. We didn’t have any water issues and our guest point, Ronnie was great to check on our needs.

Looking at pictures, my anticipation of how it might turn out was building and it was better than my expectation. One of the best locations in finger lakes. We had a fabulous time.

What a wonderful retreat on the western slopes of Cayuga lake. The views are stunning and the accommodations are perfect for a comfortable stay. When the breeze blows, you enjoy the sweet smell of the many grape varietals growing literally all around you. Our only regret was staying only two nights. We are already planning a return for next summer.

Beautiful property with a SICK view of the lake! Like if your into views? (like me) GO for it! you won’t regret it. It’s not ON the water but a block away on a hill so you get this amazing view of the lake. It was a very cozy place, cute set up, and everything you would need for a good weekend getaway (down to the shampoo). Property manager was always available when I needed w/I the hour and was super helpful and friendly. Close to Ithaca and Watkins Glen and very easy and beautiful drives everywhere.

We had a fantastic time at this lovely home. The host was very responsive. The view from the home was gorgeous. We were very comfortable and grateful for such and accommodating stay.

The cabin didn't have enough water for 4 people to even take one shower a day. Only a few of the lights in the cabin worked. The refrigorator light was not working. The road to the cabin was severly washed out making it rough to acess. The owners representative was not very accessible and his only response was to try to send more water when he could The listing says it sleeps eight, when the max is really six (unless sleeping on a couch or chair qualifies). I am not surre how they figure eight. The pull-out couch in the basement is next to the mechanical room that ran all night and made it impossible to sleep (maybe due to the water problem) The view is good, but that is it.

This was a BEAUTIFUL location. Our family of eight was well-accommodated. Our host was very responsive to communication and made our journey to celebrate my daughter's graduation from Cornell something we could all enjoy together.

Stayed over Christmas during the storm that hit Eastern lake Erie area 2022. It was cold but the worst of the storm missed us due to the micro climate of the Finger lakes. The property is beautifully located on the side of a hill in the middle of a winery estate. The views were excellent and right in the middle of several wineries.
The property itself is clean and roomy. The two of us never actually used the lower level bar area. Was able to make a nice Christmas eve dinner but did have to scramble a bit with finding pans for items going into the oven.

This cabin was so cute and spacious - nicely located within driving distance of many great wineries (we loved Buttonwood and Thirsty Owl). The host was accommodating for a slightly earlier check-in and any questions we had. The kitchen could use baking sheets but otherwise had everything else. Definitely recommend!

Awesome views from the house! The location was close to wineries and hiking trails. I would definitely stay here again.

Place was very nice. View was spectacular. Property manager Ronnie was great, very helpful and always got a quick reply. The only negative was the cleaning was not the greatest. We found someone’s worn socks and lots of stale pretzels and chips under couch cushions. ( We only looked under there because we thought that was the sleeper sofa. Looked like it wasn't vacuumed thoroughly. Could use a few extra blankets and a few sheet pans. A fire pit set outside would be perfect as the stars at night are beautiful. Overall a great time. Thanks for a fun girls wine get away.

Great Stay
Pictures do not do justice. You’re literally staying in vineyards, on top of a hill with incredible views. Watch sunrises over Cayuga every morning from the living room. Plenty of clean towels, toiletries etc. Host was great, the exact amount of communication one would want. New winery right in front of property is some of the best wine I’ve tasted in the entire trip (im a sommelier by profession). The new brewery also in front of property had great beer and good food as well. Easy drive to all wineries. Warning though: the wineries all close around 5pm. So be prepared to drive to a nearby town if you want to go out. This is what my sister wanted to do and it was an easy drive to Ithaca, albeit super dark at night. However my suggestion is to bring some stuff to grill/cook and enjoy the gorgeous house. You have all the utensils and everything you need to cook.

Fabulous wine country retreat!!
My family has been staying at this hilltop cabin for years and this last experience was the best yet. The winery dense location and million dollar lake view have always been the draw but the new owners have made the cabin more comfortable than ever. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds feel like a 5-star hotel and the new patio dining set makes enjoying the view even easier. Also, there is now reliable Wi-Fi!! If you have stayed here before, you will be thrilled with the upgrades. If you haven’t, you will be blown away by how wonderful this property is. We are already booked for next year!

Amazing
From the first communication with the host to the first sight of the property Amazing. The host was very responsive gave great ideas for trails, winery's and food choices. The view of the lake is just breath taking from both first and second floors watching the sun off the lake is just something you would have to experience. The cleanliness of the property inside and out immaculate beds beautifully made beautiful homely decorations perfect for the family getaway we needed. We definitely recommend 💜 See you guys next summer

Wonderful cabin with great views of vineyards and Lake Cayuga
We had a great stay at the Lake Cayuga Cabin! My son was graduating college down in Ithaca and this cabin was the perfect escape from the craziness of a graduation weekend. This cabin has one of the best lake views that I've ever experienced. The 2nd floor deck provides a great place to enjoy the view both inside and outside. Everything was well maintained and clean in the cabin.
I'll give this cabin 5 starts but if I had some small suggestions/comments:
- Some of my family members sleeping complained of a loud noise coming from the utility closet a couple times during the night. It would only last for 30 seconds or so. I never heard it but I was in the upstairs bed.
- It would have been nice to use the outside lawn area or 2nd floor balcony more. There weren't any lounge chairs or a fire pit.
- It was mentioned that the local vineyard, Toro Run, was giving discounts to residents. As of Memorial Day weekend, the vineyard has rebranded themselves (68 Cellars) and the new place is not offering discounts. Their new wines are also 2-3x more than the previous place as well.
Again, these are all small points for one of the best places I've stayed in a while!

Amazing weekend!
The property was beautiful and had an amazing view, especially from the balcony. It was very clean when we arrived and the host was quick to respond whenever we had a question or needed help. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful house, but an ugly stay
We rented this cabin for a weekend getaway for my wife's birthday. We invited two friends from out of town and our family. Altogether 8 people. I got to the house and was spooked by the owner talking to me through the doorbell. The house is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. However, the house was not clean. There were dead bugs on windowsills, unclean dishes in the cabinets, and trash left over from the previous renters. On top of this, the owner texted us to inquire about the number of cars on the property, which was due to everyone in the group driving separately. Lastly, upon checking out we left our pan in the house. The owner lied to me and told me there was no pan and accused our group of stealing dishes. Once pressured further, the owner admitted to having our pan, but refused to help get it to us. In order to get the pan we would need to drive 2 hours one way. We offered to pay for shipping but got no response to this request. Overall, this was a terrible experience for what could have been a beautiful experience!

Great Location, Amazing View
The house is beautiful and exactly as shown in the photos, if not better. The view was unbeatable. We enjoyed gorgeous sunrises over the lake each morning. Ronnie, our contact person, was friendly, responsive and helpful. The owners sent us a bottle of wine and coupons for tastings and wine purchases at nearby wineries. This house is close to two of our favorites: Thirsty Owl and Knapp. We also discovered Toro Run (on the same property as the house) and Buttonwood- both were recommended by our hosts. Check-in and check-out were hassle free with easy coded entry- we never needed to see another soul if we didn't want to. The house was clean, well-stocked and spacious. We highly recommend this house to families with children like us, couples, friends, anyone. 5 stars!

I truly cannot say enough positive things about this home and the entire experience with the owners. I fell in love with the property when I first saw the listing, and I didn't think it was possible for the reality to exceed my already high expectations. I was completely blown away. Everything at the property was PRISTINE. It's a stunningly beautiful location and the house is just magnificent. Stunning views, well-appointed, immaculate condition, incredibly comfortable beds and beautifully decorated to boot! Even the linens were luxurious - so much so that I took down the information on the brand so I could order for my home. Even our small children loved the house - they didn't want to leave! In addition to our wonderful experience at the property, the owners were so incredibly helpful - going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable every step of the way. From grocery and restaurant recommendations to detailed check in/ check out information and links for aforementioned linens- they were dream hosts. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. Run - don't walk - to book this incredible property. You won't regret it!

Beautiful view, wonderful stay!
We used this home as a base while we visited Taughannock Falls and Greek Peak. What a wonderful getaway we had! The home has such spectacular views. Watching the sunrise was beautiful! Overall the home was clean and well stocked. The owner was also such a pleasure to work with! He checked in before and after our stay to make sure all was well!
