About this house rental
This brand new, beautiful home sits on 75 level feet on the west side of Owasco Lake. Wake up to stunning sunrises and beautiful lake views. The first floor boasts a king bedroom, bathroom, living room, and beautiful fully furnished kitchen. The beautifully appointed kitchen has soapstone counters and stainless steel appliances.The second floor has a queen bedroom, bathroom, living room, and 3 additional beds. There is also a laundry room on the second floor. There are large screen televisions in the living rooms, and smaller flatscreen televisions in the bedrooms. Cable and wi-fi are provided. 2 sets of sliding glass doors provide access to the stone patio and lake front. A gas grill and patio furniture are included for your use. You can access the lake from the dock, or wade in at the stone beach area.
During your stay, be sure to visit the numerous local wineries, golf courses, and the Merry-Go-Round Theater.

Beautiful property right on the lake-great for morning coffee as well as outdoor home-cooked dinners. The beds were very comfy, the new kitchen well stocked, the bathrooms were beautiful, and it was super clean and well cared for.
Pat the owner/host was wonderful. He was very communicative and it's quite obvious the love and pride he has in owning this lovely home.

Amazing property! Patrick was so accommodating. The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We were in town for a wedding but already looking for another time to rent this summer! And if you like to fish, this is the perfect spot!!!! 10/10

We really enjoyed the location and made use of the dock for our fishing guide to pick us up and drop us off on one of the days. We played some of the games and enjoyed the patio and the little “beach” access to swim (briefy-brrr!) in the lake in May! We would love to return and next time hope to stay even longer! Thanks Pat, we loved Sparbuck!

The house was very clean and Pat was very friendly! The view of the lake was beautiful, unfortunately we were there too early in the year to enjoy swimming in the lake. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a nice house to host a friends get together.

Our stay with my family and friends were fantastic. The place was well accomodating for all of us. The boat slip was perfect and we were able to get our boat out and about pretty easily. We would be happy to stay there again next year!

The outside makes the place appear small and unassuming. But inside, the 'Ah Hah!!!' moment comes when going downstairs. I don’t want to spoil it, but lets just say the pictures don't do this place justice!

I believe this was our 4th time at Patrick’s property. Always clean, everything you need in the kitchen. The weather held for us, so even though it was late October, we were able to enjoy the patio right at the waterfront. Thanks again Patrick

Very nice property but no window treatments and sun shone in early in morning and main areas got hot with there only being airconditioning in the 2 bedrooms. Also steep stairs to access main living area. If over 60 years old or trouble with stairs this home is not for you. It was really difficult taking luggage and food supplies down.
Amazing patio outside once you were able to get downstairs.
Would rate it an 8 because of stairs , no airconditioning, and lack of window treatments.Easy fixes if outside ramp or incline type of path would be put in and room darkening window treatments provided.

Had a great week on the lake with friends and family! The house was perfect, and had everything we needed to make for a great visit to my hometown.....will be on our short, short list for future visits!

Gorgeous lake views!
Thank you to Patrick and Debbie for sharing your beautiful home with us! There are lovely lake views from nearly every window. You provided everything we needed and so didn’t have to haul bedding, towels soaps etc. The men loved fishing off the dock, caught lots of perch and fried them up in the well-stocked kitchen. Yum! Great sunrises and sunsets, relaxing times spent kayaking and floating in the water and boating. This is a great location - so close to Auburn and Skaneatles and all that those towns have to offer. We enjoyed every minute!

Beautiful Home and View
Pictures do not do this house justice. Hands down one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed, and we travel a lot for work. We were upstate for an Olympic Weighlifting event and the house was big enough for my husband and 5 athletes we had to coach during our stay. Pat was so friendly and quick to respond. He even came out and watched some of the event, and it was so great to see him there. He truly felt like a friend from the start, he gives you a nice tour of the home and shares a very sweet story to go along with it. Thank you so much for hosting Pat and Debbie. We would love to stay again in future trips to Auburn, hopefully in warmer weather and not work related!!

Great vacation on Owasco Lake
My family stayed at Patrick’s wonderful home on Owasco Lake. The house is fully stocked with anything you might need and was one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed at. The home had so many personal touches and we enjoyed hearing the stories of each piece. We enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning on the back deck and listening to the waves outside our windows at night. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Pat has an amazing house and story to share. The house is in a great location with wonderful views. The story that Pat has to share while introducing the property is warming. We have stayed in many homes and condos for vacation and we are feeling like it will be hard to too the whole experience of Sparbucks. 100 thumbs up for Pat and Sparbucks

Great Week at Owasco
Great week on Lake Owasco. Weather could have been better, but house was great. We rented a boat at the marina, tied it up right in front of the house. House has everything you need and plenty of beds for the whole extended family.

Perfect quiet waterfront location
Girls weekend at the lake to celebrate our mom’s 75th birthday couldn’t have been more perfect. Pat was extremely responsive and met us to show us around. The newly constructed home with gorgeous views from any room in the house were breathtaking! Pat had everything you could need for your visit. We took advantage of the large back partially covered patio full of high quality furniture. We ended up spending all of our time there, instead of going elsewhere for activity. I’d highly recommend this home. We can’t wait to go back! It’s a gem!

Great house on the lake
Patrick was a great host. Very communicative and helpful. The house is newly renovated, clean and has a beautiful view. We loved having our coffee on the water, watching the sun rise each morning. The beds are comfortable and the all the furniture is updated and comfy. This place is close to a lot of great little towns. The fall foliage was amazing. I highly recommend this house!

Wonderful lake stay
Great house directly on the lake. Well decorated, great layout for 2 couples. Loved the view of the lake from every window and just beautiful. All stocked so we didn’t have to bring much with us. Would rerun. Such a great weekend!

The house was delightful! We had perfect weather. We spent a lot of time on the porch and the deck in the mornings and evenings. Patrick is a great host!

Terrific week!
We had a relaxing and wonderful week at "Sparbuck", the name of the house. This newly renovated home was spotless, incredibly comfortable and very well equipped. The view of the lake, literally outside every window and door, was breathtaking. The sunrise was stunning. Swimming was delightful. Patrick and Debbie welcomed us and were available if we needed them for anything, which we didn't!

Relaxing Getaway
Beautiful clean house. We enjoyed our stay, the house is very accommodating. We had a boat which entertained our family. We took kayaks and floats to keep our children busy. The water is great, if you have children make sure to pack water shoes the stones will cut your feet. We would definitely rent this house again!

Meets all your needs
The house is beautiful, all the things you could need are there in abundance, linens, kitchen, bath products fully stocked. Lots of cleaning products, comfortable beds, lots of dishes & plenty of outdoor seating. The water is shallow but bring water shoes to walk on the rocky bottom. Boat traffic was low, neighbors nice & helpful. Location great between Skeneatelles & Ithaca lots to do & see. Owner was super helpful and quick to respond.

Wonderful Stay in The Finger Lakes
We just returned from a week at this beautiful house. Everything was as described and Pat was super responsive to my questions and was very helpful with local suggestions. The house was a perfect location... very quiet but also close enough to town, if needed. Since we were trying to avoid too much contact, it was great that Instacart delivered from the local Wegmans. We loved that the lake had a walk-in entry and was shallow enough in areas, which made it a great play area for our kids. House was clean and beds were comfy. It was a great getaway!

Great Spot
Excellent location, the host greeted us upon arrival and our two families had a wonderful stay. The kids loved swimming off the beach area.
