About this apartment rental
Newly renovated apartment is ready to become your comfortable oasis. Oozing with character and original features, but not lacking in amenities for the modern traveler. There is plenty of room to spread out, whether traveling solo or a group. Fix meals in the full kitchen and dine at the classic dining room table. With a coin-op washer and dryer on site, you can plan your stay for one quick stop over or many nights. Apartment is walking distance to the hospital & State Capitol building.
This is a "main floor" level apartment with 5 other apartments in the building. There is one next door and one above and one below. There is a nice little patio on the front of the house that is shared with the other guests in the building. Feel free to head out there (in the summer;) with your morning coffee. The building is close to 100 years old, so typical floor squeaks and "old" building noises may occur. Nevertheless, updates have been made where needed to make sure you have a comfortable, modern stay.
We are available by text or phone between 7am and 10pm. If you have an urgent need, don’t hesitate to reach out anytime!
Located in one of Cheyenne's older neighborhoods, with mature trees and beautiful houses. Neighbors are quiet and respectful.
So close to the center of Cheyenne, you can leave your car and walk to the State Capitol and hospital. Uber & Lyft are available.
I welcome pets but do charge a $10/pet per night fee for a maximum of $50 a stay. This is separate from the basic cleaning fee and charged via the Air BnB app the morning of your arrival.
Long term guests staying more than 2 weeks will need to arrange an additional refundable cleaning deposit or schedule regular cleanings during stay (for an additional cleaning fee)
The following is a list of what you can expect to find in the unit.
Consider it a “starter kit” if you will…. Hopefully it will give you the time you need to procure any additional items you may need. If something on this list is not in the unit, please let us know and we will do our best to get it to you ASAP.

Property is cute but not clean and welcoming. I pulled a dirty coffee cup out of the cupboard, its like it was never washed with coffee drips down the sides. The curtains in the kitchen are filthy. Walking barefoot on the floor I would not recommend I constantly had dirt and debris stuck to my feet. The decorative pillows in the back room were also filthy. It served its purpose as a place to sleep for the night. It needs a lot of TLC.

The front porch was dirty, my husband swept it, all screens falling out. Sitting area outside was pretty junky not welcoming. Floor was dirty I got floor cleaner and cleaned it, oven filthy they did come clean it. I washed front windows as filthy with dog nose prints. It is an old house but really noisy with upstairs and next door neighbors. Just not a good experience with how little time was spent in cleaning. The bathroom was updated and water was hot. Dining room chairs were falling apart. Put them aside to not set in. Alittle bit of TLC would have gone a long way for our impression. Was not for us so would not stay there again.

We LOVED our stay! The place was very cute and comfy. If I had to say anything at all maybe put a AC unit in the second bedroom even with a regular fan it was super hot. But it was doable and great. Cara was great at communicating and very sweet!!!

My girlfriend and I spent three weeks here while working and it was wonderful. Lovely place, plenty of amenities including good wifi, and the host was very communicative! Cheyenne is lovely too with lots of cute shops, restaurants, and great hikes nearby.

Our family of 4 thought we had TWO hotel rooms and found out we only had ONE......which is in and of itself horrid, but made even moreso by crowding in one room with only ONE bathroom. This VRBO place was available and I was able to book online immediately with no difficulty obtaining access. We are from NC and it was unseasonably HOT in Cheyenne......so this premenopausal 50+ year old woman would have preferred centralized AC and/or ceiling fans instead of or in addition to window units......but I managed to get by. Overall, a GREAT stay and would certainly consider using this owner either in another season at this same property....and certainly at any other properties in the future!
Thanks for accommodating us!

Was a beautiful home, that was comfortable to stay in.

Family of 4, convenient stop with room to spread out

We found the apartment in a nice part of town. We were travelling with my 87 year old mom and we’re surprised to find many stairs for a ground level apartment as advertised. Overall it went well and I would stay there again. A few bedside tables, hangers, and suitcase stands would be helpful.

This was a great place to stay, would definitely come here again if I had the chance

Place has many roaches. In the hallways, tub, and on the kitchen counter.

It was a really good check in, it is a nice treat, it is a nice size for a family of six.

Utilized the property as a base to work from to facilitate my daughter's move to Cheyenne. Three of us, we utilized both bedrooms and the living room futon. Host was very responsive during booking, check-in, and post arrival. Whole process was smooth and flawless. Property is an older home, with all the charm that comes with that and with updates where it counts. Bathroom is updated, floors and fixtures, and CLEAN. Kitchen has what appeared to be original cabinetry but newer flooring, sink, and appliances. It is adequately outfitted, we ate breakfast and dinner at the unit almost everyday of our two week stay. Kitchen was CLEAN from the floor to the inside of the refrigerator. Beds were comfortable, the futon is pretty firm, I put a sleeping bag on it for a little pillow top cush and then the sheets, slept very well. Overall considered it a very good value and very pleased with our choice of accommodations. It definitely met our needs

Great part of town, very walkable with our furry friend that joined us. There was an issue with check-in and the code for the door not being updated to the code that was provided to me the day before check-in; owner was able to provide the code over the phone, which was appreciated. The only other concern was cleanliness...there were leaves or some debris in the shower, some debris under the couch in the living room, and multiple bugs (some type of beetle) that seemed to just appear in the house. Beds and couch were super comfortable. Appreciate the fully equipped kitchen and snacks!

The rental was clean. Would have a hard time sleeping 6. Could use more living room furniture

The place was very nice although we didn't spend much time there. There are many steps to get to the front door so if you have a lot to unload from your car, this could be an issue.

Unique experience staying in a historic building! Great atmosphere. Nice touches including food treats. Had everything we needed. Con: would have preferred washer/dryer to not be coin operated.

We arrived a couple days after a record breaking snowfall. Parking was total chaos. But it was a Wyoming blizzard, so it was absolutely not a surprise. I have no complaints at all. Owner was in contact with me and I was so thankful we could bring my dogs along. Thanks!!

We went to Cheyenne for a small getaway. The house was nice as listed but the walls are very thin. Our neighbors there were very loud and we could hear them the whole time. There are snacks and plenty of towels. But it just doesn't seem to make up for the noisy neighbors.
