Place is nice, communication is great, easy checking, but downstairs bedrooms were dusty, dishes were dirty, spoon with food stains, cups sticky, dirty and smelly, board games incomplete, and yes like the others reviews said, stairs all the way to the house (is the last one) … other than we have a great time .

Good location but tons of stairs. Condo is dated and dark. No AC. Very hot at night. Mold in shower. Fells old. Tad depressing.

This is a quiet, older place with a nice view (because it’s the last unit and the farthest from the parking lot). Very clean. However, there is no air conditioning and we stayed in mid-July. The upstairs master bedroom was very hot and extremely uncomfortable. The only source of air flow is open windows with large loud box fans (which ruins the peaceful atmosphere of the mountains). Overall, I would not recommend this place. Northstar is beautiful and the amenities are great. But the unit is a steep, far walk from the parking lot (not great for elderly or disabled) and it is very warm during summer months.

We had a great time . Condo was great . Excellent at communicating. Would love to stay again

The location is beautiful, but there steps and it is located at the top of an incline. This would be hard for families with toddlers or babies. We found it clean, and enjoyed the outdoor space. Our family really enjoyed the recreation center which was $10pp.

I've stayed here several times and my family and I always feel right at home. The property is well appointed with everything you need. A Cozy Mountain retreat in any season.

Our freeski team used this condo for a competition trip at Northstar. Nice and close to northstar village.

Nice 3 bedroom with 2 bath. It is an end condo unit. Nice layout. The condo is at the top of the stairs. Convenient for the children to play in the snow and the large rock. Lots of board games. Has a wood fireplace. We did not use. Plenty of towels. We were lucky to have 2 snow storms. Convenient shuttle to the village. Everything went smoothly.

Overall this is a wonderful pet friendly place. The location for skiing is unbelievable.
The distance from where you park and the steps uphill to the residence is a negative. The entertainment system is not very user friendly.
And the BBQ was advertised as available but it was locked up. Hope this helps

Super clean house! It was a great stay there at Tahoe. The rooms are big enough for guests, and the common area is also spacious.

The house was super comfortable and we all enjoyed staying there. One concern we had is that there was a closet full of the owner's belongings in the living that was left unlocked. We found it that way and wanted to bring it to your attention.

The house stayed pretty warm relative to some other units at Northstar, there was very little else to like. The unit was dirty with hairs in many of the rooms and surfaces, the couch is falling apart, there was no working vacuum cleaner to tidy up despite the maintenance guy promising to drop one off, the oven looks like it is 50 years old with analog controls and the maintenance guy could not get it to work so we wasted hundreds on groceries we couldn't cook. It's the last unit up the icy walkway from the parking lot. At over $1000/night we will be contesting the charge.

Perfect location!
Location is fantastic. The condo is comfy, cozy and very clean although a bit worn. Couch leaked some stuffing, drapes in living room broken and wouldn’t close but with that beauty literally right outside the window, who needs them to close. The kitchen didn’t have basics (like coffee machine filters) but shops close by for anything you need. The key to the ski closet didn’t actually work so we left snow gear in car. Not a big deal. If you’re looking for something with easy access to Northstar and you care more about the outside than inside, this is your place!

Please be aware, this property doesn’t have AC. I didn’t pay attention to that and that was my mistake. Depending on when you are going it could be a problem. When we came the temp was in the 90s and there were only 2-3 fans in the entire place to use. The bedroom on the third floor is very hot in the evenings, bedrooms on the first floor are a lot better. Bring your own fans if you are going when it will be hot.
There is quite a walk from the parking lot to the property, and lots of steps during that walk. Makes it difficult to bring luggage and groceries up. Bring rolling carts if you can, and backpacks, for easier carrying.
Bring bug spray. I understand it’s in the woods but
there were quite a few bugs inside the property. Woke up many times to things crawling on me and we all got bitten.
Washer/dryer is very small, so bring extra towels as you will have to do a lot of loads of laundry. But then you’re gonna have to bring the towels up all the stairs to the property. Bring laundry detergent.
Bring extra garbage bags and dish soap if staying a week. We didn’t have any garbage bags and dish soap barely got us through our 5 night stay. They do have a dishwasher as well.
The fridge doesn’t keep items very cold. Put drinks in the freezer for a bit to make them colder.
Lots of games provided for us to use. That was really nice. There’s a drawer in the kitchen with a good amount of seasonings. Plenty of pots and pans and dishes to use. Place was clean when we got there. TV in two bedrooms and the living room. There’s a DVD player in bedroom upstairs and they have movies to watch. We brought our Roku so we had lots to watch, not sure if they have anything to use other than DVD player. Gas grill on patio worked well. Community pool isn’t very far at all, and the temp is very nice. Location is great, 15 minutes from the lake. Staff was also pretty responsive. Our parking permits weren’t left out for us and they were pretty quick to bring them once we notified them. No other issues during our stay.

Too many STAIRS!!
There are too many stairs to count! Getting to the rental you climb up a hill at the top (not wheel chair or stroller friendly at all)! When you get to the property the living area has no bathroom so you have to go up or down large flights of steps either up or down-we went when Tahoe was 93 degrees and the unit was unbearable-it was 86 degrees to sleep, it was awful-they do provide plenty of fans in each room-there was a light on in the basement that got the kids scared and not wanting to sleep in the rooms downstairs because if the opening in the closet! Really bummed how it turned out

Great Northstar condo!
We enjoyed our week at the condo! The place was clean and well-kept, and the three of us (and our dog) had plenty of room to work, play, and relax.
This condo is all the way at the end of the stairs, so getting in and out is a bit of a walk from the parking lot.
We used the Northstar Rec Center & Pool everyday we were there! The pool is less than a 5-minute drive from the condo, but the rental included the Guest Parking pass, so parking was easy. Pool access was $5/day per guest, and required a reservation, but once we figured that out it was super easy.
The internet was great, and we brought our own AppleTV to connect to the Family Room TV so we could watch our stuff while getting work done.
The Kitchen was well stocked with spices, utensils, and cooking supplies so we didn't have to buy too much when we arrived. The grille is on the Main Level deck and super easy to use. The bedrooms were comfortable and had plenty of pillows, blankets, etc.
Would recommend, and would definitely stay again!

Absolutely great ski getaway. Shuttle comes right to the parking lot and brings you to the mountain for free. Shred!

Dreamy Mountain Getaway Weekend
The property was wonderful. Tony, with property management was friendly and very helpful. He has great customer service skills. We has a wonderful time.
Only suggestion would be is to let people know how far condo is from parking lot. Lots of stairs to get to the top.
