It was a quant and quite cabin back in the woods.

The place was not clean, floor was dirty, on the front porch it had loose and open rails and it smelled like mildew. The beds were comfortable but when we stripped the beds noticed a large stain on the mattress pad. The bunkbeds were wobbly. The hot tub was dirty. The outside play area needed attention and upkeep before our grandchildren could even play on it. I feel like I overpaid for what was given. It is located in a convenient area.

We had a family gathering here over thanksgiving, and it was the perfect location! Cabin was clean, we loved the location, and we would definitely book here again.

The only real problem was trying to reach the property management team. WiFi didnt work and finally received a call back on our final night. Multiple calls to office with no answer...finally i got rude on message and received a callback 4 hours later. Curtains on window's would be nice and some window screens so you can open the windows. Just minor issues and we didnt let it ruin our vacation

It was a fun adventure and we enjoyed our family time. Plenty of space inside. It was not as secluded as we thought it would be but still was a good location. The grill is n old campsite grill and not a grill on the patio area but still useable and you need charcoal. It worked just fine for what we needed. Would definitely visit again and will be in the future! Hot tub was a huge hit for us and we definitely enjoyed it. Master bathroom is amazing ! No complaints!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hiked, relaxed, enjoyed time in the hot tub and around the campfire. We loved our time spent here.
The only downfall was that we had planned on using the grill and according to the listing photos there was supposed to be a gas grill but was a charcoal grill. We just decided to try our luck with restaurants instead.

I absolutely hate to leave a dissatisfied review and actually not the type of person to leave reviews. I really did want to like this place. But in all honesty if I saw the property before hand in person I wouldn’t have booked. My hope is that this review would be considered for some much needed updates and changes to how the cleaning is done so other families can enjoy this beautiful location. The house needs some updates FOR SURE… but I can deal with staying in a place that needs renovations as long as the place it self is well maintained and clean. However this property was not clean. The vents in this house were caked on with dust and filth. My husbands allergies were going crazy in the house, he had already taken allergy medication prior to arriving but needed to take Benadryl the whole time we were there. Most of the blinds in the house can not be shut.. The floors were sticky and dirty .. bare feet turned black.. white socks turned black… upon arrival I found a dirty coffee mug in the Cupboards as if never washed, the table was set with chipped dishes..one room has an outlet just sticking out of the wall, the sheets and towels smelled .. and it was not a clean smell. The grill out back was not clean.. the back door of the property really needs to just be replaced there is a giant opening at the bottom in which all kinds of creep crawlies could come in. I’m a neat freak as were most of my family. So no one felt like relaxed or at ease. We didn’t take advantage of what could have been a great seating area outside as the furniture just seemed dirty. I get that it’s outside furniture but as a rental property I feel like it still should be maintained. Before checking out I was looking for more paper towels to clean up. Found them under the sink completely drenched from a leak from the faucet. Called the number listed to let them know, no one picked up. My family made the most of the experience but we would not rebook here.

Great location
Property is centrally located and easy to find. It was large enough for my husband and I with our 2 children and their kids. The swing set out front was great. The house could use some TLC. The back door needs replacing. But overall it was a great experience.

The setting of the house is beautiful. Both porches are wonderful including the hot tub after we figured out how to turn on all jets. Having 4 bedrooms was very helpful for our group. In general the entire place needs a little TLC. There are multiple areas where flooring is missing, the dryer took 3 cycles to dry, and both bathrooms need some simple updates. Everyone loved the mattresses in all bedrooms. The owners were very quick to respons to our needs. Overall 3 out if 5.

This property was really great! The main room was huge, and our 2 families with 2 toddlers each were incredibly comfortable. There was a nice playscape on site in the front yard, but the location is tucked away so there was virtually no traffic and our kids were safe. Short drive ~10 min to the main area in Hochatown and lake access. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend!

This is our fourth cabin/lake stay, three of which have been in Broken Bow. While the property has everything presented on the online listing, we were very disappointed in the condition of the place. We’ve never had that experience before.
For example, our cabin was very hot when arrived. Even once it cooled down, the master suite remained 10-15 degrees hotter than the rest of the cabin. There were dirty dishes, broken chairs inside and outside with exposed screws. There was an electrical outlet literally falling out of the wall in one bedroom and oddly a pile of gummy bears in another. The grill needs upgrading, and the light switches in two rooms are wired so poorly you have to fiddle with the right combination to get the bathroom vent and back porch light to work.
We reported issues to the management our first night with no response. We reported that the AC was leaking water the second day. No response. A few hours later, an AC guy just showed up unannounced. While we appreciated it, the lack of communication was unprofessional. And unfortunately, it did not resolve the issue for the hot master suite.
All that said, we determined to enjoy our week together. And we did! We’ll definitely be back, just not to this property.

This property is excellently managed. Kiamichi have great communication, and very responsive to our issues. And I will use one of their properties again in the future. But not this property. This property is a double wide mobile home. An old double wide mobile home. With outdated fixtures, old moldy tubs, cabinetry that doesn’t close, an exterior door that is decayed and has holes that rodents get through. There is only 1 tv, which I didn’t realize when I booked the “cabin”. When you have three generations of family, it is nice for each group to be able to go into their own room and quietly be able to enjoy their own entertainment at times.
The land, while nice, is also located in a pretty much residential neighborhood in the Broken Bow area. The people who live there do not keep their property up the way rental units in rental unit neighborhoods are kept up.
This is not the high end outdoors experience that most people visit Broken Bow for.
That all being said, it is on a really nice piece of land, and all you can see are pine trees around you, and it has amazing front deck with sectional dining table and picnic table.

Things were broken (bed, porch banister, dining chair) unsafe for my children, animals tried to chew its way through the back door, screw sticking out of the shower walk, and I found dirt on one of the beds.

Very Nice Cabin.
We loved the big covered porch. It was great fir the rainy ways. Kitchen and bathrooms were nice and well stocked. Nice yard for kids to play. Quiet neighborhood. Close to the park and Hochatiwn. We enjoyed our stay.
