About this apartment hotel
This gorgeous 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom suite at The Inn at Newton Highlands is pure luxury. It features a large and inviting living room, spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms, a private 500 sq.ft. deck, and everything else to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
This suite is one of several luxury suites in a small boutique Inn which is located in the heart of Newton Highlands in a beautiful, fully remodeled historic building. Careful attention has been paid to preserve the look and charm of the fin-de-siècle 19th-century building, using old archive photographs to replicate the exterior as it once stood. Inside, the building is pure 21st century, with modern rooms, advanced utility systems, and greatly enhanced structural features.
The remodeling has been completed in full compliance with Fire, Safety, and Building codes for hotel class buildings.
The suite has its own HVAC system, so there’s no air sharing between units.
Stas Gavronsky and his wife, Tatiana, are the owners and operators of The Inn at Newton Highlands. The original idea behind the Inn came from Stas's work in healthcare. He wanted to build a beautiful and comfortable place for patients and their families who come to Boston for medical treatments and typically require a longer stay. The Inn provided exactly what was needed: a combination of luxury, safety, and convenience of a hotel with a privacy and coziness of a private apartment. The place is great for business travelers, destination wedding guests, and tourists.

And stood out the wonderful owner, Sas. You really cannot make him mad, or at least you won’t know about it.

Super clean, well-appointed, and great communication! Cute places to eat within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again!

This apartment, the town, the communications, and the owner's going above and beyond were all exceptional.
We felt comfortable and safe and enjoyed the amenities of this rental and the quaint town of Newton. There was even a Whole Foods Grocery Store merely half a mile away! I would highly recommend this rental to everyone - It is a real gem!:)
Thank you, Stas!

My family and I came in from New York for my son’s Northeastern University graduation. We were pleasantly surprised with the furnishings and modern amenities. Stas was very informative and made helpful suggestions for eateries and places to see in the area. As we had a busy itinerary we were out most days. Commuting into Boston and Fenway area was very easy as the Green line D was just outside our front door. French bakery and numerous eateries are within walking distance. Our stay was excellent and we will highly recommend friends and family to stay on property.

Manager was awesome, helpful and punctual. Nicest VRBO i've ever stayed in for the marathon. Location was fantastic. Very nice neighborhood and all the conveniences we could ask for.

We have rented many times throughout the country and this tops them all. Stas, the host, was extremely responsive and helpful, especially in accommodating parking for our van, The apartment is spacious, which worked well for entertaining family. The location is great, with literally steps to the T for public transportation and everything one might need within a couple of blocks. A gem.

Very convenient apartment, well designed with all the relevant amenities. The host was welcoming, provided great local tips, and handled issues fast.

This is a lovely property. Spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable furnishings. Stas is a thoughtful and attentive host, and graciously met us upon our arrival to show us the apartment.
There are many nearby places to dine -- and O’Hara’s pub and a French patisserie across the street were standouts.
Many reviewers mentioned the convenience of the train station behind the property. Just a clarification: the train is the aboveground portion of one of Boston’s subway lines (Riverside line), so it’s very quiet compared to a standard train. You can hear the trolley when it comes into the station, but it’s not bothersome in the slightest.
We will gladly stay here again on our next trip to Boston. Thanks, Stas!

We just returned from a lovely 5 night stay at Newton Highland Inn Apt #1. Stas was responsive and accommodating. He had a parking spot for us which we greatly appreciated. The unit is very stylish, spotless and comfortable. The location is great in that we were able to walk to get pastry and meals each day. Our favorite places were O’hara’s Food & Spirits, Lakon Paris Patisserie and The Dining Car. Ana’s Taqueria and Cacao were also good. Cute boutiques and salons also nearby. There was some noise from the subway next door but a pair of ear plugs allowed us to sleep just fine. We also had a nice stroll through the quaint neighborhood and nearby lake. This rental is very well cared for and we would stay again if in the area. Thank you Stas for your hospitality!

Believe all the reviews. This is a great rental. Exactly as pictured, located right next to the train, and super cute neighborhood with food right there. The owners are fantastic and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Boston.

From the time we arrived, our host Stas was available and provided us with great information!
The train was a great tip and way to see the city and O’Hara’s restaurant across had the best clam chowder in the city! We tried to find one that would rival O’Hara’s however nothing came close.
Our rental was comfortable and provided a great getaway just out of the city.

This property was fabulous and it was as advertised
Stas met us as we got there took us around the property. Told us places close by to visit.
Another positive it is about 60 yards from the train station going to Boston
The best way give a rating is going back to.Boston we will stay here again.

This property has to be one of the cleanest VRBOs I have ever stayed in. It was spacious and the well-equipped kitchen was a plus! Frig was huge and that helped us as we we’re constantly storing food from our outside events. Bedding and towels were soft and clean. The amount of open space in the kitchen, dining and living room was ample for us to not bump into each other. Remember this is city living and this probably one of the best aspects of this apartment.
The owner, Stas, was very accommodating and easy to communicate with during our stay. We had no issues with our accommodations or it’s surroundings. Most definitely I am giving 5 out of 5 stars to this VRBO as the accommodations fit our needs perfectly. It was my husband and our adult son staying in this space during our daughter’s wedding and activities. We will stay here anytime we visit Boston.

As a pretty experienced world traveler, I am confident in saying that our week-long stay at the Inn at Newton Highlands was fantastic. The rooms were clean, bright, well-provisioned, and comfortable. The neighborhood is a delightful bonus with cafe's, a bakery, and a small incidentals shop a few steps away. Other shopping was nearby. Getting around Boston was a breeze with the metro next door which made seeing the whole of the city doable without stress.
Stas met us as we arrived and could not have been kinder and more helpful. He gave us a good feel for the neighborhood and nearby restaurants and stores and offered advice on strategies for tackling our ambitious itinerary. It was good to know that he was nearby if we needed but that was never the case as the apartment had everything we needed and then some.
We will definitely return to the Inn in the future and I recommend it to anyone who is visiting Boston and would like a quiet retreat to return to at the end of the day - with the promise of a fresh croissant and French roast coffee just across the street to get the next day started. Nirvana!
Thank you Stas for a joyful and relaxing visit!

We wanted something close to transit with a quick ride into the city - and hit the jackpot with this property. It was all of those things and so much more. A beautiful apartment with everything you could need. It is spotless and beautifully updated and decorated. A 10/10!

This was the perfect place for us to spend the weekend visiting with family and friends in the Newton area. We had everything we needed, and more, in this spacious, light and super clean apartment. Stas is a warm and gracious host. We won’t stay anywhere else when we are back in Boston!

Third time staying in this apartment… our favorite spot when visiting our son at Boston College. Brought my in-laws this time and they loved the space, location and everything in the area. Very clean, well equipped and perfect for two couples or a family. We will definitely be back again!

We were in town for my sister’s wedding and needed a place for my family of four to stay for a week. We couldn’t have asked for a better situation. The apartment itself is lovely. The kitchen well equipped. The neighborhood is so cute and has almost everything you could need. Blocks down is a Whole Foods and a Walgreens. Most important for us was the proximity to a playground, while others will certainly value the proximity to the train for easy access to Boston. Stas was quick to respond for questions and little hiccups, a wonderful host. We will be sure to try to stay here the next time we are in town.

We flew across the country to visit our college age daughter for Thanksgiving. My sister and her two daughters rented a different unit in the same building. Our unit is sparkling clean and equipped with great amenities, especially in the kitchen. The unit itself is beautifully updated and decorated . The host, Stas, is friendly and showed us around the unit to make sure we have everything we need. We fully utilized the walking trails and took long walks around the neighborhood. The building is next to the green T station which is extremely convenient for our dinner trips to North End and downtown Boston. So thankful for the memories we made in the beautiful Newton community.

What a beautiful place to stay. Very clean and spacious, lots of welcoming touches which made us feel at home. Very convenient since it is right next to T stop and coffee shop. We highly recommend for your stay in Boston.

I just spent the past week telling everyone I spoke with that I want to move into this rental. Newly remodeled and lovingly decorated condo, with extraordinary attention to detail, walking distance to downtown Newton, great shopping, and excellent restaurants. Best French Patisserie directly across the street. High quality bedding, pillows, mattress, and all the amenities like shampoo and lotion neatly laid out on perfectly folded lush towels. Each room was utterly pristine with not a drop of dust to be found. Owner responded to each message with lightning speed. A total standout vacation rental experience.

This property is awesome to stay in. Beautiful rooms and top notch bathrooms in each bedroom. You are 30 minutes away from downtown Boston. The T is a 3 minute walk.

Newton Highlands, a charming, walkable neighborhood, was a perfect location for us during our 5 day stay. A very short walk to the MBTA GreenLine D (we bought Charlie Card passes) allowed us easy access for all of our Boston activities (Duck Boat tour, Freedom Trail, Fenway Park Tour + RedSox Yankees game, dinner in Little Italy, City Center, Boston Public Library) Our granddaughter took us on an amazing Boston College tour (she’s a sophomore). The Inn, 2 bedrooms, 2 bath was so inviting, clean and comfortable for 4 adults. Our host, Stas introduced us to the neighborhood and assured that our visit was “most excellent”.

We loved our stay in Newton! The space was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well equipped with all of the things we would need. The proximity to the T was perfect us. We enjoyed a few restaurants in Newton and running around Crystal Lake. Stas was a wonderful, attentive, and gracious host. We will definitely be back!

This apartment was perfect for our stay! Stas was a gracious, accomodating and communicative and host. The apartment was extremely comfortable, well stocked and nicely decorated. The location was perfect for our week getting our son settled at college. Not only was the location close to campus but also to plenty of shops and restaurants in Newton. Having the parking space across the street was very convenient for when we drove but being right next to the T was perfect for our trips into downtown Boston. We will definitely be back for another stay over our son's four years in Boston.

Stas is truly the best, he met us when we arrived, and gave us a tour of the apartment, he texted every day to make sure we were doing fine, and had everything we needed. The apartment is absolutely an amazing place to stay, just lovely, just as pictured, fully stock with everything that is needed. The Location is perfect, safe neighborhood, with great restaurants in the area, and the T is conveniently located right behind the apartment, but not noisy at all.
We will definitely return!

Wonderful!
Stas was a gracious host! The apartment was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect for getting into the city with the T station nextdoor. Newton Highlands and Newtown center had all of the amenities. Would highly recommend this apartment for a family looking for a place in the Boston area.

Perfect location!
This apartment is well appointed, comfortable and in the perfect location to explore Newton's neighborhoods and surrounding towns. The T is right next door, which also makes it a great spot for exploring everything Boston has to offer. Loved the outdoor area for relaxing in the evening. Stas is the perfect host as well. We hope to come back when we have more time to enjoy everything.

Great host, great location
First of all, Stas (the owner) is wonderful. He personally greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. The apartment is spotless and very thoughtfully put together. The Green Line T is right behind the apartment (great for convenience, and the noise is audible, but not disruptive).
There is a dedicated parking spot (across the street in a small parking lot). The lot is tight if you have a large vehicle, just FYI.
Overall, this place provides a nice, clean, safe and convenient location as a base of operations for exploring the area.
Note: just across the street are a host of really nice little food shops: O'Hara's pub (great food), Grape Leaf (great food), Lakon Patisserie (great french pastries and coffee), The Walnut Market (nice owner, good for snacks and quick bites).

Fabulous for College Reunion Weekend
We absolutely loved our stay in this apartment. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, and very convenient. We rented a car for the weekend, and there is parking, but it is a bit tight. Having stayed there however, we could have easily gone without a car. The Newton Highland T Station is quite literally next door, and we could have easily used an Uber or other car service for back and forth to Wellesley College. So much else (restaurants, Whole Foods, shops, walking and park spaces) were easily within walking distance.
This is a terrific location to stay for reunions in the area, and also for easy in/out of Boston (including the airport) for exploring and enjoying the city, with affordable apartment/condo space for comfort of family and friends.
We highly would recommend staying here, and Stas was very accommodating, hospitable, and responsive. Thank you Stas. We'll see you again.
