Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked and locally sourced on the whole. The garden was beautiful, with a place to sit and enjoy the view. We were made very welcome, given a room to suit our needs.
Very minor point, a bar to hold onto in the shower would have been appreciated.

Lovely people and excellent breakfast. Well equipped room with plenty of tea and coffee options
The parking is a bit tight but to be fair we have a large car

We had a very warm welcome, the host could not have been more accommodating. The room was very clean with all the facilities you would need. Breakfast was very good and catered for all our needs.
In an ideal world the room could have been a fraction larger.

Anyone who is a gardener would be blown away by the garden, it is stunning with hundreds of large pots of herbaceous/annual plants. It'll look even better when everything is out in flower in another couple of weeks plus warm weather. Also lots of bird life.
Handy local pub just down the road with excellent meals.

Quiet location close to where I needed to be.

Alison had thoughtfully provided everything I could possibly need. The bed was comfortable and the en suite facilities were very good.
Can't think of anything! Breakfast wasn't provided as the hosts were having a break but they had called me in advance to flag this up, so I was prepared.

Lovely room away from the main house. Lovely quiet location. The hosts were very welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable.
The hosts recommended a local pub 15 minutes walk away which was perfect, they even leave a torch in the room for the way back.

The bedroom was lovely and had great views over the valley. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
There was cereal, yoghurt, toast, croissants offered for breakfast as well as a full English fried breakfast. The breakfast was not as good as anticipated but still very filling.

the views and garden were very nice. Allison and Dave were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was exceptional.
Definitely a drive to get there.

Cost room, lovely views from the windows.
Friendly staff
The location suited us perfect as could walk into town where we had a family reunion.
There were no breakfast options. Could be some outside space for guests to enjoy, it wasn't obvious where we could sit in the garden / private.
The drive there is quite difficult, one way where you need to hold your breath at times!

Brambles is a well organised property in a lovely rural setting very comfortable with a lovely hostess.
Nothing.

This B&B is set in a pleasant rolling hill countryside location, with good pub-food within easy walking distance (a safe enough walk in daylight). My spouse and I both thought that breakfast was a treat, and that the breakfast room was immaculate yet homely. The hostess has a good gardener’s heart, as the garden shows. There are also some good bird-feeders, and plenty of mixed bird life. Our car parked easily at the back.
Though our outhouse billet had a cosy bedroom, the doors (ext. & int.) can rattle in the wind. I guess that a draft excluder would fix the rattle. Hanging a towel or similar over the tops of the doors, can sort that for night times. At night, we did have to watch our step down (bedroom to hall) when pottering to the loo (hall to loo), for there’s a slight danger of stumbling in the dark if one walks in the night.

WONDERFUL GREETING. Lovely SETTING, SUPERBLY clean. Everything had been thought of.
Lovely greeting, very clean, lots of extras, such as snacks, drinks choices etc. Wonderful.

Alison was very welcoming and provided a great breakfast. We liked the little extras that Alison provided e.g. savoury snacks and bottled water in the room and everything you could possibly want for breakfast.
For our liking the mattress was very soft, but not uncomfortable. The location is very remote (but we new that at the time of booking) and so you need to drive to get something to eat or a 20 min walk to the local pub.

The breakfasts are exceptional. Huge variety of cereals, yogurts, drinks, pastries, toasts. Host most obliging. Table laid with abundance of jams and marmalades, fruit juice. Very clean. Host very accommodating
We were happy to take the narrow road to the property, but hosts generously provided us with an alternative route, not the SATNAV one. So all was well.
