Foi boa, mas nada de excecional.

Comparei um bocadinho este hotel com o de S. Miguel e fiquei um bocadinho desapontada. O pequeno almoço era razoável. A localização muito boa. Também foi fácil estacionar. Nada a apontar ao pessoal. Os quartos são pequenos mas confortáveis. Foram uns queridos pois fiz anos no Domingo e quando cheguei ao quarto tinha bolo e champanhe.

Não gosto que o shampoo e o gel de banho seja único. A casa de banho é pequena e as paredes dos quartos são muitos finas pois ouve-se tudo.

Great place to stay in Angra

Location is the best for the Sao Joaninhas festival. The front desk staff are so friendly and helpful.. The bartender Monica is amazing, friendly and always have a great attitude.

Nice property in the city center of Angra Some of the facilities could be updated, but the setting is really nice with views of the gardens and being right on one of the main squares int own. Staff was professional and attentive.

Exceptional

It was our fifth time at this hotel. We always choose this hotel due to its excellent quality and perfect location. Rooms are very comfortable and cozy. Breakfast buffet is perfect and of excellent quality products. Personal staff are very charming and helpful.

Ideal location with excellent staff

The hotel is located right on the main square and a few mins walk from the harbour. The basic room is nice but a bit small. The staff is excellent and I found them to be very welcoming and attentive both at the reception and the restaurant. I had early morning tours and the hotel kept a nice food packet ready for me and added an egg as per my request. Overall highly recommended for a stay at Terceira.

Fantastic location in the center of Angra, with the park next to the hotel.

Machines with instant coffee during breakfast. Seriously??? The same in all three Azoris hotels I have been to this stay…

Amazing stay in an excellent hotel with a view of the lovely city garden

It has everything for a perfect stay: comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast including local products and a magnificent view of the garden, and a spa center with a swimming pool. I especially loved the view from the room: it overlooked the Jardim Duque da Terceira with its trees and flowers (and lots of singing frogs!).

lovely location but unpleasant staff

Nice location next to botanical garden

rooms only half renovated, toilets look tired and old, no plug next to the beds and poorly lit rooms. hard mattresses and cheap pillows, staff extremely unpleasant, here are some examples: #1 when we arrived at 8pm the receptionist was chatting with a colleague from room cleaning services and kept us waiting standing at the desk for a good 10 minutes before checking us in, he just kept chatting with his colleague as if we weren’t there. #2 at 21:35 we called reception and asked if it was possible to book a table for 2 at the restaurant, they said it was still open so we went downstairs, we asked a waitress who was visibly annoyed by our presence but she nevertheless gave us a table sighing and rolling eyes. After 5 min she came to set the table and gave us the menus, we didn’t like the daily menu and opted for a steak and a salmon salad, she took our orders and then came back 5 min later saying the kitchen couldn’t take our order anymore, we were asked to go to the bar downstairs instead to have a sandwich or a warmed up meal…very disappointing given this is a 4 star hotel and that we had arrived at least 25 min before the closing of the restaurant. #3 Staff at breakfast also very unpleasant with ladies rolling eyes and checking their watches when you go down for breakfast 15 min before the closing of the breakfast room…they should really work on their staff’s attitude.

Very good

Very good external soundproofing. The decor is very cool, room is spacious (and I had a gorgeous view out to the gardens behind). I also really liked the toiletries provided. Breakfast has a nice range and variety. Location is amazing. Staff are excellent - extremely friendly and helpful, and even memorised my name (seems small, but makes a huge difference). Gym is a little run down but plenty of equipment for a decent workout (I was actually surprised at how big it was). The pool and jacuzzi are small but clean and a nice temperature. Happy hour every day from 6 to 7 is a nice touch.

Internal soundproofing was bad - you can hear the noise from other rooms very easily. Also, the sauna wasn't working, which is a shame as I like to use the sauna after a workout. The health suite area in general could use some aesthetic renovation. Otherwise, only a couple of suggestions for improvement - a bathrobe would elevate the level of comfort and would be useful for using the pool and jacuzzi. There was only tea in the room, coffee would have been nice.
