It was clean and very homely. It was everything we needed and close to the beach. We were even upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment for free.
Nothing.

Location
Manly Waves apparently had a plumbing issue so we were given what was supposedly an upgrade to a nearby apartment. This apartment block was dirty, ill-kempt & very dubious. Rubbish & discarded clothing lying outside. Apartment was superficially clean but cheaply furnished & smelled. There was a large crack across the bedroom window.
Car park area couldn’t safely accommodate our medium-sized car.
We couldn’t stay there. Left immediately.

The reception staff were friendly, helpful and in theme with the beach environment.
The proximity to Manly/Queenscliff beach is exceptional.
Only a 10-minute walk to Manly Corso, plenty of restaurants, cafes and ferry service to the city of Sydney.
The price for the age of the units is way too much. The interior was not adequately cleaned for the price paid.
The units need to be updated on the exterior. Improvements required surrounding the units to meet with expectations of the price paid.
Parking provided but not sufficient. Parking near reception impossible, had to double park to check in, very uncomfortable start to the holiday.

Perfect location for us and affordable. Our unit was impressive and we got an upgrade for the same price .. Reception lady was very helpful and lovely to chat to ..House keeping were very helpful too ..
Great stay ..
Although house keeping were very helpful ..I felt there was room for improvement as there was sand on the floors but still a clean bathroom and kitchen...Nothing too much to worry About ...

The WiFi was so weak that it couldn't support the PAY TV channels. Even having one device connected slowed it down to a ridiculous degree. The Airconn system was so loud we couldn't sleep with it on. Generally a very tired and poorly deaigned apartment that was grossly overpriced for what it was.

I was unable to stay at the room I booked, so after picking up the key from reception, I was sent 200 met back down the block. When I arrived at the residential apartment block, it appeared so poorly maintained I phoned to check I was at the correct location
There was a lot of rubbish in the front yard of the apartment block, and abandon shopping trolleys that you had to walk past.
There was a used pillow case in a kitchen draw
According to staff, the trick to locking the front door was to slam it.

We were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment, plenty of space which was lovely.
Parking was tricky, and the door to our apartment needed a chain lock. The lock on the door didn’t work properly and another guest came in our room at 2pm and gave us a huge fright. I mentioned this to management and they were confused how this could happen but didn’t offer us anything to say sorry for that happening.. felt very insecure afterwards and couldn’t sleep. Wouldn’t stay again unless I knew it had the chain lock..

Location of the Hotel is exceptional, very easy walk to the Manly beach, you can forgive almost anything for it :) Parking (extra 20$/night) was a great option as well, though parking slots are very narrow.
It was 5 of us and the room we stayed in was not that comfortable as the sofa had to remain unfolded, so there was no area for the family to hang out during the day. Although the vibe is rustic and cute, it is not really that practical (old furniture, doors not opening/ closing properly/ curtains not moving properly). I think the fridge in that room must be replaced, although the fridge itself was big, but there were only one shelf in it and the bottom of the fridge was full of water. Hot water in the shower didn't last long, it ran out after one person had a shower... There is NO storage in the bathroom and towel rail needed to be fixed as it was barely attached to the wall. With 2 little boys it was a challenge to keep them safe around the room. We were lucky with the weather and spend most of the days outside and came only to sleep.

This property is all about the experience and location, location, location. What is lacks due to age, it by far makes up in character, cleanliness and the personalised service. This team go the extra mile to make sure you are happy, comfortable and relaxed. I didn’t have to ask for a thing, as my needs were met before I knew what I needed myself!
We had a lovely 2 night’s stay and enjoyed the convenience of being a short stroll to the waters edge.
Thank you to the team, we will definitely return.
Nothing. Some renovations in future will be amazing to see and only elevate the property. But this did not impact my stay. Everything was clean and functional.

Location and the bed was very comfortable, self contained and shower was fabulous.
The noise of the guests staying in tbe room above.
Dragging chairs accross floor and stomping and showering at 3am etc. Didnt get much sleep.

The location of the air BnB was really good, as the beach and cafes and restaurants were very close.
The staff were very friendly. The shower was good 👍🏻
The room was cramped and didn’t have enough space for kitchen equipment. Air conditioning very noisy, our neighbours through the night was awful.

Nice fresh sheets and soft towels. Milk, coffee, tea provided plus bathroom products.
Had to squeeze between parked cars parked out the front to find reception. Difficult to get out of bed due to metal post 3cm from side of bed. Pillows very flat. Couldn't use cupboard for clothes as it was too close to bunk bed. Carpet under double bed very dirty. Only 1 window to opened which was over sink, very small opening. Very claustrophobic. No bathmat or tea towel supplied. Curtain rod was very rusty in shower and entry to this room had a cement step above bedroom floor level.. tripped several times. Exhaust van switch was too high for me to turn on and was very rattly. No where to put luggage or bathroom bag.
Box Aircon was right beside the bed, very noisy. No inside seating except kitchen stools which were very heavy. Couldn't leave sliding door open beside bedroom at night as entry to outdoor area and units above was outside bedroom, so gate couldn't be locked. A mass of Electrical wires on top of aircon. box outside could be very dangerous. Pine Tree dropping all over outdoor area when we arrived. Back of remote control missing.
Booking .com picture showed a lovely old house as front of accommodation???? That had absolutely nothing to do with our accommodation
***A very big mention to Roxanne who came to our rescue when our Cab didn't turn up. Thank you again Roxanne for dropping us off to Manly Wharf.

Poor cheap outdated furnishings. Wifi not working properly. Very hot, Air conditioner is filthy, faulty and very noisy as was the old fridge.. No fan. Window catches and door lock so old and bent, make it easy to be opened from the outside.
