About this house rental
This beautiful chalet with huge panoramic windows and lots of indoor and outdoor entertaining space is located in the premier mid section of Lake Keowee! You are close to everything including Clemson University (Only 9 miles away), incredible hiking/biking in the nearby Blue Ridge mountains, and great shopping, restaurants and breweries in downtown Seneca and Clemson!
Each of the 3 levels has its own full bathroom plus there are two separate living room areas to comfortably accommodate many guests. Entertainment spaces abound with a large wraparound deck. With this lake house being slightly elevated, you get various lake views from both sides of the enormous wrap around deck. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets off the West deck!
The large upstairs loft has a queen bed, two twin beds, a futon and a full bathroom with rain shower. Please note, this is counted as one of the 4 bedrooms and overlooks the main floor living area.
The main floor has a large open, updated kitchen with a generous granite island, living room with gas fireplace and flat screen tv, a full bathroom, a master bedroom with a king bed and flat screen tv, and an additional guest bedroom with a queen bed and rocking chair plus it’s own private entrance out to the deck.
The lower floor has a full laundry room with washer/dryer, laundry tub and another full size refrigerator/freezer, a private bedroom with a king bed and tv, another full bathroom, an awesome bar area with tv, a beverage refrigerator, and a large 25lb ice maker to fill your coolers or make your drinks! There is also another living room area with brand new couches and a huge new 75” TV (it’s the absolute best set up for watching the game!). There are many games, a ping pong table, and Golden Tee Golf Arcade game for added excitement. There is also a great screened in patio on the lower level with twinkle string lights for even more entertainment space.
We are conveniently located right next to the walking path down to the water. You can use either of our beautiful community docks to fish or swim off from. In addition, we provide kayaks (kayaks are shared with one other chalet and stored at the other chalet right down close to the water for ease of use), noodles, tubes and life vests for your use during your stay. There's nothing better than relaxing on our provided tubes and floating the afternoon away on our gorgeous, clear protected cove! Boat slip included for the full duration of your stay. We are happy to help you with contacts for half day or full day boat or jet ski rentals very close by if interested or you can bring your own!
On the deck, there is a patio table w/umbrella that comfortably seats 6, a small table for 2, an outdoor sectional couch that seats 6 people and 2 sun/lounge chairs.
***VERY IMPORTANT: Our community is awesome and we absolutely love it! Most of the people there are super relaxed, friendly, and happy to be in ‘vacation mode’! However, we MUST be respectful of the other owners as the chalets are all close to each other. Please know that our Home Owner’s Association has recently implemented fees for loud noises outside after 11pm. Therefore, if you plan to have a party or wish to be loud after 11pm then this is not the right rental for you.***
***This close lake community of 30 chalets shares 2 parking lots. We have 2 deeded parking spots that come with the rental and there is visitor parking as well. Please know, the parking is not directly in front of the chalet. The walk from the parking lot to the chalet is approximately like parking in the middle of the Target parking lot and walking into the store. Therefore, it’s not a long or difficult walk, but there are some stairs so if mobility is an issue this may not be the best rental option for you.
***There are no fireworks allowed at any time within our gated community…this includes off any decks or docks.

Wonderful property and hosts!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the house. We were 10 people and had enough space for all of us. The deck is a wonderful place to have coffee in the morning and enjoy the view. The communication with the manager was superb. Can highly recommend this place.

This house was incredible. It was clean and spacious with an abundance of both indoor and outdoor relaxation spots. There was a HUGE deck on the main floor with plenty of seating, and a lovely screened in porch off the basement. The basement was amazing....large screen TV, bar, and games for the kids. With four kids in our group, they were fully entertained all weekend long. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and dining options were a quick 15 minute drive. We are already looking at our calendars to see when we can return!

We very much enjoyed our stay and really love Lake Keowee.
The owners of the home are nice, responsive and easy to work with. The property was a good size for us with five adults, one infant and two dogs. Any more might have been too much.
The property does allow pets but the development is not really pet friendly. Neighbors complained about our dog barking once. There is a not good green space to walk the dogs and the asphalt gets very hot during the day.
We will return but will not take our dogs.

My family had not been on vacation together in almost 5 years. I found this little gem on VRBO and it was the perfect spot and size for our family. The lake was beautiful and the accommodations were perfect for us. Chuck was available if we needed him and super friendly. We did have to improvise with our smores. Said firepit was not there but the gas grill worked great. Highly recommend.

We spent 5 days here with our adult children and had a great time. The chalet is very clean and comfortable and host was easy to reach and responsive to questions. Easy walk down to shared dock and pretty quick to get anywhere on lake with boat. Lovely sunsets on the dock!

This is a Great Lake house for a quick getaway with a small family! We loved how close it was to the Clemson and Seneca area for exploring. The owners have excellent recommendations and were easy to get in touch with!

Very well-appointed cabin with all we wanted inside, outside and in the area. There are multiple entertainment options, streaming, tv’s, bar, porches, extra’s, full kitchen, etc. I highly recommend it.

Everything about the stay was outstanding. The well appointed house was large, comfortable, cozy and very clean. Everything you needed was there. The deck/porch were huge with ample seating and a grill. The golf game in the bar/basement was a huge hit. The setting was a mountain lake with a private community. A nic walking path around the homes and lake, fishing from the docks and kayaks to use. The owners were attentive, friendly and you know they care about the happiness of their guests. They have a 5 star rating for a reason!!!!!

This was the most heavily stocked vacation rental I have ever stayed in. Chuck was fantastic and easy to communicate with. We brought our boat and got to enjoy the whole lake. If bringing a boat there is locked trailer parking down the road and a boat launch five minutes away. We had our own boat slip for the whole trip. Thank you for our stay!

The house was great. Lots of space for the six of us to spread out and only a short drive to Clemson. It was beautiful, well-appointed, and very clean. I highly recommend staying here.

Nice house overall and nice layout for our family gathering to hang out and watch football. Just be aware that they state it's pet friendly but I was charged extra over and above what I had already paid because there was pet hair on the floor and furniture. The dog was approved to be there and we paid cleaning fee and pet fee and was still charged extra to vacuum the pet hair off the furniture and floor. I would recommend they state that only non shedding animals are allowed or they increase their pet fee anticipating there is hair.

Lovely home for a cousins reunion. House was well appointed, clean and relaxing. We especially enjoyed watching football games on the big screen on the bottom floor. And, the guys really enjoyed the golf game.

We had a fantastic time on Lake Keowee. The rental was clean and updated with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The basement was a big hit with Golden Tee and lots of games. The screened in porch was an awesome place to enjoy our morning coffee. We did not use the kayaks but it was nice to know they were there. Chuck was responsive and available if we needed him (which we did not as everything worked and went smootly!). We will definitely visit again!

Great location on the lake. Quick drive to Seneca and Clemson for any needs. Cove is quiet and is great for kayaking and swimming off the dock. Whitewater rafting 40 minutes away made for a fun day trip. We hiked in the Blue Ridge mountains nearby and saw amazing waterfalls. So much to explore at the lake and surrounding areas!

We traveled from Central Florida to visit with family in the area. The layout of the home was perfect to allow us to spend time together while also giving us plenty of room to relax on our own. We spent our days swimming at the dock. Our children (22, 17, and 14) enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and fishing. The kids enjoyed the kayaks so much that I expect we'll be buying our own this Christmas! The location was convenient for nearby family members to hop on their boats and spend the day with us. The owners were staying in their property nearby and were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They were quick to respond to a minor maintenance issue without hesitation. The home was extremely clean! We are already planning next summer, and this property is a strong contender for our next lake vacation!

We loved the house. The beds were all great and there were 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which were all very well stocked. The living/kitchen areas were all small but the great deck more than made up for the space. Thats where we spent time, on that great deck which had a nice grill, table and plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. The hosts had supplied all the paper products, trash bags and everything you needed for a great stay. The hosts were great and communicated as needed. They allowed us to bring 2 dogs with us that were over the advertised weight limit. There were 2 drawbacks however to this rental. The parking is limited and there is no close parking to the rental. You had to unload your luggage and supplies at some stairs then walk 50-70 steps (depending on your size) to the house to unload your things, then walk back those same distance to get back to the steps, park your vehicle and then walk back to the house. To get to the dock, you had to go back to those same steps to walk around the entire house and down to the dock The second and biggest issue was that they do not have a designated dock for your boat. You have to get on a waiting list for a boat slip and pay $100 additional money to the hosts for a boat slip. Since we were there on Memorial Day there were no boat slips available. However, the hosts moved their boat and gave us their slip. That was very sweet of them. It was an A rental overall.

Came for a friends wedding at St.Andrew Catholic Church and reception at Arabella Farms. We had such a lovely time staying in your lovely lakehouse retreat! Floating on the lake was also fabulous and relaxing! Thank you! Perfect house, perfect location! You’re a wonderful host! We will be back!

Came down from Boston for our son’s graduation from Clemson University. A very easy twenty minute drive to Clemson. Place was super clean and very nice. Wrap around deck let’s you see both the water and the mountains. Hosts were great and very responsive. Downstairs is a perfect hangout spot. It has a bar and 70”television which was perfect to watch some NCAA lacrosse! A very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Great spot…beautiful atmosphere, quiet! Enjoyed many dinners on the deck, access to the lake, and the short drives to other activities (eg. Keowee Brewing, Lake Jocassee Tours). The lakehouse itself is perfectly designed - appreciated full bathrooms on all floors! Great interior layout and space! Clean and came with all of the amenities we needed!

House was extremely nice and location was fantastic for our family to have a great week by being near many waterfalls. Owners were very kind and quick to respond to any questions we had. The use of kayaks added to the fun. A week is not enough

The hosts were amazing... organized, great communicators, helpful, and kind. They provided a packet that was full of information about the house, the community, and the surrounding areas, and were quick to reply to our questions and offer help with whatever we needed. The house was all and more we hoped it would be... it was spacious and yet comfy, too, with beautiful surroundings and lots to keep us entertained. Overall, great for a quiet, calm, fun get away.

We loved the place! I bet during the summer there is more to do in the surroundings. But the house overall was exceptional!

Great property! Beautiful interior with great amenities and nice lake views. This property offered great spaces to enjoy the weekend with family and friends. Our only regret is we could not stay longer! We would definitely stay here again.

We spent the week at this beautiful chateau while we moved our daughter in for her 2nd year at Clemson. The property is gorgeous! It felt like home. It was 15 minutes from campus which made it very convenient. The lake was nice and quiet. We took advantage of the owners kayaks and swam off the pier. The owner was extremely responsive with the one question I had during our stay. I would highly recommend this property and would go back in the future.

We wanted to squeeze just a little bit more out of summer. We have 2 in college and one in middle school. The house accommodated all of us and their friends well. The house is located conveniently on Lake Keowee in the Knotts Landing development. Parking is a little tricky, but manageable. We rented the dock slip in addition to the house and the dock is less than a minute walk which was very convenient for carrying coolers and gear. The house is well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. The house was comfortable, and everyone had room to relax and/or be together if/when they wanted. Overall, we loved the rental and would definitely book again.

The owners were absolutely amazing and very attentive! We couldn’t have asked for a better location or better service!

Outstanding!
From the first email that I sent asking about availability to the conclusion of our trip, Chuck and Brenda were quickly responsive, gracious, helpful, and professional. Their home suited our needs to a T and my favorite spot was drinking coffee outside on the deck each morning in the rocking chair listening to the quiet of the cove. Puttering around in their kayaks, swimming off the dock, baking homemade pizza, watching a movie on the LARGE tv downstairs, and eating afternoon snacks in the screened porch was just a tip of the fun we had! Six women, celebrating a milestone birthday, we will talk about this gathering for years to come!

Just perfect
We had an awesome stay. The house was just perfect for our family and we were more than comfortable. The homeowners are very conscientious about making things as easy as possible for those staying and were very responsive throughout our entire booking process and stay. We obviously spent most of our time on the lake but loved the quiet cove and lovely gated community. We had absolutely no complaints and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back!

Family Reunion
We had a lovely time. The owners were very accommodating for our family. There were stairs up to the house but there was a ramp that helped us access the house from the road. There are 2 bedrooms and a bath on the main level of the house. house was beautiful and very comfortable.
