Very nice, good location

We were busy with student apartment moving but the time at the house was relaxing. The walk down to the water was scenic and we rented jet skis one morning that we tied up to the dock. It is a cute house and it worked for us.

My wife and I stayed here a few nights as we wanted a quick lake trip. We are real familar with Lake Keowee, and actually rented the house next door a couple of years ago.
The home is on a nice place on the lake and is in the same cove as Warpath access point which is convenient. It is essentially halfway up the lake, so you can access the larger south end near town, or the more remote North end with similar time in a boat. The three distinct levels of the house allow for privacy if you had a larger group. The main level works for meals, but the lower level is the most comfortable for sitting and hanging out. The outdoor areas are nice.
Please be aware that the mandatory fitness program may not work for you if you are mobility impaired. (the stairs to the lake). My wife and I are not spring chickens (65+) and we made it OK, but you need to be in decent shape. It was far enough to make us carefully plan going down to the dock. (99 steps)
Overall a nice trip.
My small runabout (18' bowrider) fit easily at the dock but you might be challenged to get a larger boat in at the current lake level (-3'). It really depends how good a captain you are
The kitchen appliances were fine, and it was well-equipped for what we needed. Mostly just cooked breakfast. Neither the ice maker in the refrigerator nor the ice machine in the "bar" downstairs worked. So remember to buy ice on the way. The grill looked good, but we didn't use it.

The views were amazing! The house was beautiful, extremely clean, and tons of games/activities in the living room. We didn’t leave the house not one time! We’ve already talked about booking again.

I rented this lake house to have a long Fourth of July week with my family. We had 7 people in our group. Everyone enjoyed the lake - we swam in it about 5 times a day. We also enjoyed BBQ outside and visiting local spots in Walhalla and Highlands, NC. Everything in the house worked well and the AC was also great.

The cabin was great! The view of the lake was so peaceful and we enjoyed the rocking chairs. It had rustic charm and delivered on the cabin experience. Very convenient to Clemson for the softball tournament.
Thank you for the hospitality!

Great hideaway located about 15 min from Clemson. Beautiful remote lakeside cabin. The board games were the perfect touch as the evenings were cool this time of year. Very clean and well laid out. Thank you

This is a beautiful property inside and out. We enjoyed the deck and multiple patios, and the setting was so peaceful that we didn’t want to leave. There were 9 of us, and it didn’t feel crowded at all. This is a 5 star property! We plan to come again and would highly recommend it!

We arrived about 6 pm Saturday 7/24 spent one night to 7/25 and made arrangements for another place for our two week vacation. Property manager would not refund any of $8500 paid for two weeks. The property wasn’t at all what the enhanced photos show online. It’s on a main traffic highway- turn into 45 degree driveway down to house that has other homes beside it - not the remote cabin pictured. The home is very dark - very little light except on back deck. There aren’t 4 bedrooms- there’s 3 with an open loft to the kitchen. The dark king master on main floor was covered in dust on blinds and under bed- shares bath with adjacent queen bedroom. The house is very small - there was nowhere to sit comfortably in kitchen. The picnic table snd 2 side chairs in tiny one butt kitchen. Six people couldn’t sleep there and enjoy two weeks with no privacy in the loft people making coffee in your bedroom every morning and shared master bath. There was no way anyone was going to traverse the hike down to the dock. My 74 year husband could never get down to the fire pit or dock - looks like 100 steps and VERY STEEP. The 25 year olds weren’t even interested in the hike down there. Between the dust, darkness and can barely see in the bedroom, no comfortable seating in small main living area, the swing on back was terribly uncomfortable the 27 year olds got right up out of it / sound of traffic on highway we put out sos to realtors for a new place. The pictures shown on vrbo aren’t true.

Nice place that feels like you are staying in a tree house. Lots of stairs to water so be ready for a workout while you enjoy the Lake! Location on lake is nice, you are in the middle of everything. Host was perfect.

We had an amazing time!! The cabin was was perfect. It was clean, comfortable & everything we could have hoped for in a vacation spot. Karen was wonderful & very helpful. She had suggestions for day trips that were spot on for our family. We absolutely love the area & would love to visit again.

Perfect cabin on lake with all amenities! Lovely bear themed home with large screen TVs, board games and very comfy beds! We had fun down by the fire pit, and used the convenient outdoor grill. Host Karen was responsive to all inquiries. We will definitely return!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this adorable cabin last weekend. We were a group of 10 and were very comfortable in the cabin - only wish that the weather was warmer so we could have enjoyed the outside firepit, etc. a bit more. The kitchen is very well stocked and the home is very clean. Karen was very communicative leading up to our stay and even baked fresh chocolate cookies for us to enjoy upon our arrival. Thank you, Karen!

Hostess was very particular about our dos and don’ts about trivial stuff- made us very uncomfortable- almost like she wanted to look for a reason to keep our deposit

We loved everything about this home. It was very clean, comfortable, and had a great location. Owner was very responsive. I would definitely rent here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The property was as described. It was clean and well maintained. There is direct lake access and the lake is visible from the porch-a great place for coffee in the morning.

Great location surrounded by beautiful scenery and lots to do, especially if you enjoy outdoor activities

Very clean and quaint cabin. Lots of space for various activities. Close to Six Mile and Seneca.

This lake house has a well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, games, even firewood for the fire pit. It sits on a great alcove of the lake perfect for swimming and kayaking. It is many stairs from the house to the lake, so renters with young children or those who have trouble with stairs should be aware. But the home owner is awesome and does a lot to make it feel more like a home than a rental. Great communication and reasonable check out procedures. Lots of sleeping space, beautiful lake views, great game room with wet bar and ice maker (very appreciated). Close to grocery stores, Seneca and Lighthouse restaurant. Definitely one to rent!
5.0
Perfect place for a family lake vacation. Karen is a great host and ensured we had everything needed to enjoy the week. Property is clean and well maintained. Check-in/Checkout process is quick and easy. Our family enjoyed swimming off the dock in a quiet cove. Lakehouse is on perfect spot mid-lake with the Falls and Lighthouse/Cabana close by. Warpath boat launch 3 minutes away.

Great location at Lake Keowee. House was clean and the beds were very comfortable. One of the best stocked (as in kitchen and cleaning supplies) houses we have stayed at. Nicely decorated and everything worked well. Had a Keurig and a regular coffee pot. Comfortable porch furniture. Thanks!

Everything was very nice! Only negative was road noise.
2.5
This home is large, beautiful and has, without a doubt, the most well-stocked kitchen of any rental property I've ever stayed in.
Although the home is centered around the large, high-ceilinged central room, there are lots of cozy nooks and crannies to hide in.
The experience was a pleasure and we can't wait to return.
2.5
Very comfortable in every way. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, 100 steps down to the water but that did not bother most of the family. Some even went swimming and it was late November. Would definitely rent again.

Karen was very helpful and the cabin was immaculate. We spent most of the time away from the cabin but we did have one beautiful day to relax!
