This little house was just what our family needed for the week. Everyone had a comfortable bed. Not far from Bethel village. We went horseback riding at a local farm. Went to see some beautiful waterfalls.

Me and my wife have been traveling to Maine for 15 years. This is our second stay at this property and our host Maura has it set up perfectly. This was our best vacation to Bethel Maine. This property will not disappoint!!! Russ, Krystal and Blue our Aussie…

Great location just outside of downtown Bethel. Very cute living room/kitchen area, open to a loft above. The loft has the coziest comfiest daybeds up against the window! I could have stayed there all night. The floors & stairs of this house are unusually creaky - not sure what the fix is, but if you are a light sleeper make sure no one gets up during the night!

Great location to downtown Bethel and Sunday River. Plenty of space and comfortable bedrooms. Fireplaces kept the house toasty and the basement area would be great for kids. Would stay again!

This was our second time staying at the Black Bear Cabin, and -- as during the last time -- it didn't disappoint. We appreciated the new HVAC system that provided for a comfortable temperature on the main levels of the house. The wood stove in the living room is great, too. The place is private and quiet, yet not far from town. The house had everything we needed. I highly recommend this rental.

My wife and I go to Bethel for the outdoor activity and the town of Bethel. Long weekend, we hiked Table Rock at Grafton Notch, stopped at the pie stand on 26 and hiked the Long Mtn Trail which is just down the road. Maura's house is very well kept and super convenient to town. Not to mention pet friendly.

We so enjoyed our stay at the Bear Cabin. Very clean and comfortable with all supplies needed for our stay. The cabin was modern with plenty of room for three adults and dog. It's close to town with many good restaurants. Maura is an excellent hostess. We look forward to returning.

Great location with all the amenities
The house is close to town and ski resorts. All the amenities we needed - kitchen was well stocked and house slept the 6 of us adults with plenty of space to spread out. We were able to enjoy the back deck on a sunny afternoon in March - quite a treat. Would definitely stay again.

Great place for Sunday River
Great cozy chalet, a pleasant 15 minute drive to Sunday River. The place was immaculate. Nicely equipped kitchen. Enjoyed wood stove in living room and gas fireplace in basement. Comfy beds. Plumbing, heating, electricity, internet all worked just fine. Driveway plowed and stairs shoveled at arrival. Just a great place all around. Would definitely book again and highly recommend!

Cute house and it worked well for us
Cute house and it worked well for us. House is cold in winter bring kindling for the stove. But it was a nice house, well-equipped, the dishwasher didn’t work but we were told beforehand and that was just bad luck. All good. Would stay there again

A great place to stay for skiing at Sunday River
We had a great time staying at this cabin during our Sunday River skiing vacation this Christmas. We enjoyed spending evenings in front of the nice wood stove in the living room. The kids had fun with the game console downstairs, too. The place is private and quiet, yet not far from town. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this rental.

A perfect week
My husband and I pulled up to this adorable house after a long drive across the country and immediately felt peaceful and relaxed. The setting is idyllic and the house with its wooden floors, wood stoves, back deck with fire pit was comfortable and welcoming. We slept soundly in the loft bedroom and enjoyed coffee on the deck before heading off to explore Bethel. When my sister and her husband arrived the house was accommodating for all of us. Plenty of room to move around and share a meal and laughter together.
I looked forward to staying again.

Up Checking out the White Mountain Area
Nice cabin as advertised. It had it's own "character" and was quiet and private. The cabin would be great for a romantic getaway or a family vacation, and everything in between. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in it again. Carey

Great cabin!
We had a fantastic week in Bethel and really enjoyed the cabin. Maura was quick to respond with helpful tips when asked. We especially liked the finished basement for movie watching and daybed in the loft for reading. Local highlights were the Mineral and Gem Museum and Screw Auger Falls. My husband and son enjoyed a kayak river trip booked through Bethel Outdoor Adventure. We highly recommend this clean, comfortable, well equipped cabin. Only disappointment of the trip was not spotting a moose! Maybe next time...

It was clean and nice
I was pleased with everything except the couch in the main sitting area and it would have been nice if there was a shower upstairs and a bathroom in the basement. It was 4 of us and we had to wait on each other. My sister slept in the basement and she had to go upstairs in the middle of the night.

All Seasons Location
This charming and comfy home has a location for all seasons. Handy to skiing (both Mt Abrams and Sunday River), mountain biking, hiking, golf, and downtown Bethel restaurants and shops.. The layout of the house offers not only good separation of bedrooms, but also 3 lounge areas. We also enjoyed evenings on the back deck with its Solo wood fire. Check-in/check-out was easy, and owner was responsive to questions. The day we arrived, the temps were in the high 80s, so we appreciated the newly installed AC, though that was the only day we needed to use it. After that first day, we opened the windows and enjoyed the refreshing mountain air, and the peace and quiet.

Great stay in Bethel!
So many accommodations, had everything we needed for our 3 night stay in Bethel :) We had 2 cars and everything was in close driving proximity. A nice back deck and front yard for outdoor activities, we all loved our stay!

Beautiful and Clean Cabin!
We recently stayed here and had a wonderful time. The home was very clean, updated, and well cared for. It was cozy and welcoming and had plenty of space for our family of 5 and our pup. Maura was extremely responsive when we had questions and had the house well stocked with anything you may need- plenty of blankets, toilet paper, shampoo, etc. The beds were very comfortable and my girls loved the bunk beds! The loft was a hit and was their “hang out area”. Even the pup was welcome with dog bowls, a tie out, and treats. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
