A view of trailers and walls are too thin

It was clean and had a stove.

It was next to a bunch of construction trailers, walls are too thin--could hear neighbors night & day, no view, bed was uncomfortably soft, there was no range light and the stove's fan was disconnected, no dishwasher or dish rack to dry dishes, too warm even after turning off heat, no free tv channels, and a very annoying barn door for the bathroom that didn't provide adequate privacy. This unit isn't actually accessible. Counters are not the right height and the closet and bathroom door would be challenging. Someone with mobility issues would have problems getting out of the bed, too. All the little lights on stove, internet, and tv shine right into your face when in bed trying to sleep and are reflected off the stainless steel fridge. We puzzled over the large size of fridge since the unit only had two cups, two bowls and two plates, and space wasn't big enough for a group. A bedside light would have been nice, but there was none. It's an apartment building in the middle of a big gravel parking area. We were not impressed.

They cared about cleanliness and overall I recommend this place but wasn’t exceptional.

it was really clean and close to the attractions.

There was too much noise coming from window and door specially the speakers outside playing music all day.

Nice location nearby Seward. secluded

nearby Seward.

it was a little hard to find. couldn’t check in right away since we arrived early and it was hard to find someone to speak with and ask about check in. phone wasn’t being answered. there was also a child riding a dirt bike near our rental car. I am all about kids having fun but don’t damage property of guests. little coffee hut wasn’t open either.

Great stay, owners very helpful, accommodating and informative. Great room and proximity to Supermarket and down town.

Bar stool and table not designed for work purposes and long hours sat on laptop at desk.

Ready to go back again!

The room was large and comfortable. We didn’t meet any staff during our stay because we were sent a door code before arrival and the room was ready and easy to access. I think it was the nicest property of our entire trip.

Very nice place.

Very clean studio with full kitchen - all Samsung appliances, a reading table just like in my own home. Very relaxing and comfort after whole day driving. Safeway just 3 minutes away.

Next time I visit Seward this lodge will be at the top of the list of potential places to stay.

I want to being by saying that I stayed in the "off-season" for tourism in Seward (After Sep 30). I was one of few guests in the lodge. I received my room number and door access code through text before arriving at the lodge. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, silverware, and towels. The full size refrigerator, stove/range, and microwave added a ton of value to this room. The television was paired with AppleTV that had Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, and other streaming services. The bed, pillows and linens were very comfortable.

The parking area is a bit rough, some smoother gravel paving would be nice. There is no doormat to wipe your feet off on. If you don't have your own means of conveyance it may be a challenge to get to downtown Seward or the port in the off-season.

Great place to stay and great location, with close proximity to everything, including a glacier!

This is a such a good choice, with friendly, super nice owners. The room was very pleasant and clean, and so was the bathroom with modern clean lines. The bed was comfortable, and all amenities were provided, including a kitchenette with utensils and dishes.

The apple tv device didnt like disney plus well. Was not soundproof but close to it.

Good location (just outside Seward, on road to Exit Glacier). Walking distance to 3 restaurants. Rooms appear to have been renovated and is very comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at Spruce Lodge and would stay there again!

Our room was just as shown in the pictures. Newer and very clean! Nice having full size appliances (particularly a stove). We had plenty of room in the Queen studio for 2 people. Added bonus having a nice size closet and the bathroom was very spacious and CLEAN! Good location in Seward on the road to Exit Glacier and a short drive to the harbor and stores and restaurants in town.

A small nightstand on at least one side of the bed would have been helpful but not a big deal. We used our cooler as a nightstand for my husband.

Great Stay. Definitely would return

Brand new lodge off the road to Next Glacier. Surrounded by woods. Across the road from Salmon restaurant. Kitchrn and TV all new Samsung appliances. Good TV channel selection.

Would like a small night lamp in room or dimmer on main room light switch.

Exceptional

A wonderful fully equipped suite. We appreciated having a comfortable place to sit for a moment as none of the other rooms in Alaska that we rented had a nice couch. (Post-hike recovery furniture...LOL) Fixtures and furnishings were wonderful, clean and new. The property was nice, too, and the proximity to Exit Glacier and Harding Icefield, and Seward downtown, was all great. You do need transportation to get to these places, but we had a car. I highly recommend Spruce Lodge for a stay in Seward.
