Quiet
Cold—our fault in that we neglected to turn on heat and when we returned from a long day’s outing, it was 52 in our cabin. We slept in our clothes!
3.0 / 5.0
Rustic but very clean
The bathroom sink area is NOT user friendly. No place to plug the hair drying that is useable by the sink. Mirror is too small and too high. We had no hot water on the second day. Mattress needs to be replaced. Did not like the built in bed against one wall. Not an easy process to get out of in the middle of the night

Go for the main lodge and not the cabins. Trust me.

Comfortable bed, spacious room, quiet location. Helpful staff at check in.
Mirror over sink was too high for me to look into, hair dryer was type that should have been mounted on wall but was not, using it with the mounting plate attached to it and hanging down was very awkward.

3 night stay at Exit Glacier Lodge. A rustic, older lodge. The staff was extremely nice. The location was a good mix of close to the glacier and to the town. There was a common room which nice for eating our own breakfast and lunch. lunch
The accommodations were fair. Our room was rather warm, didn’t have much leeway in controlling the temperature. The road noise was bad at times.

Charming old fashioned place. Clean.
Breakfast could be offered. Lightnings in the room to be improved.

We had two cabins, separate from the hotel, so we had privacy. There was an adequate restaurant between the hotel and the cabins. Seward is a small town, so everywhere - including the Exit Glacier - was within 10 minutes.
Rooms were a little small and a little dark. No breakfast was included.

We reserved two cabins and were happy with both. The location of this property is great; right on your way to Seward and/or the Exit Glacier park. Unfortunately for us it was pouring rain and we were unable to check out the property. (This survey mentioned that I requested a quiet room, I don't remember asking for a quiet room it may have been that we would like our cabins close together, but it was quiet.) The owners were very friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again if I had the opportunity.
The only thing I didn't like was the restaurant, Exit Glacier Salmon Bake, on the property was closed that day for some reason. It would have been nice to have eaten there. Instead we went down the street to Resurrection Roadhouse (nice place, very busy, and really expensive). Other than that there wasn't anything we didn't like.

It was a great space to spend a night while visiting the area. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
The blackout curtains could have fit a bit better-- but what can you expect in Alaska in June?

large room with plenty of space. Sink outside the bathroom was a small nuisance. The only thing missing was AC and an elevator for elderly guests with room on 2nd floor.
No AC. No elevator.

It was reasonably priced for the area.
It was rather old and kind of thrown together. You had to walk through the weeds to get to it.

The rooms were HUGH and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. There was a great restaurant right next door that served local seafood, done right, and the staff at both the hotel and the restaurant could not have been more gracious and accommodating.
Watch out for the driveway; the rainwater had created large "puddles" as you drive in, that were of underterminable depth. If you have a low-slung vehicle, just be aware.

Very nice lodge. Attendant at desk was very nice and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable.
Difficult to locate in the dark. Needs better sinage. Pot holes in parking lot need attention.

We stayed in one of the cabins. really enjoyed our stay. it was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
If you have trouble sleeping when there is noise. The heater cycles on and off. It bothered one of us but not the other. Only negative.
