Great hotel , convenient and great value for money.

Hotel Plaza is very convenient being opposite the main railway station in Salerno and just a few metres from the centre . The staff were excellent and extremely helpful , breakfast was plentiful with a wide range of food available.

Hotel molto comodo. Buona colazione

Hotel situato difronte alla stazione. La stanza al quarto piano era molto spaziosa. Buona insonorizzazione delle finestre, quindi non si sentono i rumori dalla strada. Letto comodo. Colazione ben fornita di dolci, un po' povera di scelta per la parte salata, ma più che accettabile per un hotel 3 stelle.

Stanza colazione un po' piccola. Albergo un po' datato.

Estancia agradable

La ubicación es muy buena, frente a la estación de trenes y de buses que van hacia la costa amalfitana, muy fácil moverse caminando por los principales puntos de la ciudad. A pocos metros del puerto desde donde sale el ferry hacia Amalfi y otros pueblos de la costiera. Variedad de opciones para comer y tomar café con delicias típicas. El desayuno muy bueno con sus productos típicos, muy limpio y acogedoras las instalaciones.

Sería recomendable que el personal manejara español o al menos inglés para poder comunicarse mejor. De todas maneras fueron muy amables.

Excelente ubicación justo enfrente de la terminal de trenes Salerno Centrale y a 1 cuadra de la costanera. Muy rico y variado desayuno. Muy cerca del centro histórico de la ciudad.

highly recommend and would stay here again

location was perfect as it’s across the square from train station and along closed street with vendors and restaurants. staff friendly and rooms clean and had all we needed. great breakfast

Superb

Very nice place to stay. Within walking distance of the train station, 1 block, and 3 blocks from the regional boat piers. Loving town with quaint local shops. Best surprise was finding out of the way ristorante with fabulous food and wines.

Wonderful small hotel. Located just steps from the train station. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, professional responsive staff. Breakfast was abundant, varied and eons better than typical hotel offerings.

Traditional Italian building across from Salerno Station. Rooms well soundproofed and quiet. Loved the decor. High ceilings, Old fashioned radiators instead of blown air heating. Friendly welcome

This was a very convenient hotel, right across from the Salerno train station. We were in Salerno to visit Paestum so the location was a top priority for us. The staff were very welcoming, the hotel and room were clean, and the included breakfast was very good. We were very satisfied with our stay.

A good choice for your stay in Salerno

I left another hotel to stay here. It is centrally located and the two gentlemen who seem to be running it were helpful and kind. It’s an easy walk to everything.

The room could have used a little decor! Otherwise, it was just fine.

Great location and Netflix was available!!!

Loved the spacious room! The shower gel is a nice touch. Was pleasantly surprised to have Netflix and Amazon Prime on the television! Enjoyed a quiet breakfast in the dining room. Great stay overall and definitely will return. Thanks so much.

Enjoyable stay in a typical Italian hotel with great proximity to trains, buses and the water. .

Loved proximity to train station and we asked if it was possible to have a room with a balcony. The room was on Level 5 facing the station. The balcony was private but allowed an interesting people watch while sitting having a drink. Breakfast was ample with a good variety.Staff were very helpful, especially Titziana (not sure of spelling or pronunciation..sorry).

Great basic accomadation. reasonably priced. fantastic location.

step away from the train station and a very short work to the ferry port. also lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance. the owner of the hotel was super friendly and gave great advice for local attractions. as a solo women travel I felt very safe staying here. breakfast was fab too !

A fantastic Italian experience

Loved everything about this lovely hotel. Brilliant location friendly staff and very reasonable whey more does one want and throw in the “Italian” feel to the place. Cannot think of a negative only positive

Amazing hotel! Close to everything

Hotel Plaza is so wonderful. There is so many good things to say about it. The staff is very kind and helpful. There is always someone attending the reception 24/7. The rooms are clean and spacious and we had a great view of the train station and square. The location is ideal, right next to the train station if you are traveling by train, it is only a few steps away. The breakfast is included and it is amazing and there is a lot offered, fresh bread, cold cuts, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc. If you are planning to take the ferry to Amalfi and Positano the walk to the ferry terminal is just a short distance away, 5 to 10 minutes. It is situated on a very nice pedestrian street featuring a lot of restaurants, bars and shops. We loved this hotel, we would definitely stay here again.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like about this hotel.

Everything was fine, the location of the hotel excellent, near the station, port. Big, well-kept room, comfortable beds, rich breakfast, very kind staff. I will definitely return to this hotel.
