Location was perfect and dining and pub facilities were great.
Cafe 2 doors along was perfect over the Easter weekend for breakfast and coffee.
We had a very small room especially as a 3 night stay. We noticed other rooms were much larger when cleaner had the doors open. We appreciate the costs reflects hotel age etc.. Consideration needs to be given for longer staying guests even increase price a for larger room. Our room was more like a single bed room.
Always feel that booking.com clients get the least popular options in rooms and location of rooms.
Your cleaner the only staff member we met was extremely friendly and helpful.

Location - Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Well priced compared to other options in town. No onsite parking, but plenty of parking spaces out front.
Room can do with some maintenance and cleaning. Found a couple of long strands of hair on the sheets. There were still dirty glasses and left over food/bottle of wine in the fridge. Toilet reeked of urine and the toilet paper holder was missing. The shower head had an endless drip. Had to dispatch a couple of roaches in the bathroom. Roller blind in the room was not working so couldn't roll up for some natural light when wanted to.

Keyless entry so no need to check in. Comfy bed and clean room. Excellent coffee selection. There was no street lighting and no loud noises during the night. I didn’t even hear other guests coming and going.
The front foyer was a little musky.
No cookies to eat.
The bathroom window was left open a little bit and when I went to have a shower I noticed a man on the other balcony had a clear view of the shower.

location perfect. Bed Comfy, streaming TV a bonus.. nice decor. Easy access and exit.. not bad
leaking shower and the water temperature was a skill to be accomplished. Figured it out in the end though and they were hot enough.

The cleanliness and size of the room was great. The beds were really comfortable and I loved that we could open the windows and let the fresh air in. Staff were super friendly and the location was excellent. Would definitely book again.
The air conditioning was pretty cold - the remote didn't seem to correlate with the actual temperature but the windows opened so we had options and on the second day it was an absolute scorcher in Lismore so it was lovely and cool. It would also have been great if there had been some hooks on the doors or a wardrobe to hang things. A clothese airer would also have been a great help as there was only one towel rail in the bathroom, so we had to use the chairs to drape wet towels/clothes over.

Good location/ good staff
No hot shower. Room 1 shower needs to be fixed for next guest.

The apartment was spacious with a fully-equipped kitchen (which we didn’t use) and a modern, roomy bathroom (no bath, but a lovely walk-in shower). The beds are comfortable and lots of linen is provided. The electronic lock system (front door and room door) works really well.
There is a very bright street light which shines into (mainly) the bedroom but also the sitting room area (where the single bed is). The curtains do a very poor job of blocking out the light. The result was a disrupted night’s sleep.

The accommodation was fantastic. The pub downstairs is awesome!! We had an amazing meal and sat in a really cozy nook in this incredibly spacious pub complete with reclining seats. In the morning we had breakfast at the bank cafe right next door.
I had to open the large pantry cupboards with my feet as there were no handles.

Charged $100 to my card after I left .
Lismore is a hole . Should plug the river and let the place drown

Next door to pub to get dinner. Range of TV options. Bed was comfortable.
Cold water tap was running. One light in Bedroom was not working. Slamming front door of complex was disruptive.

For someone travelling on their own or a couple it was great. Unfortunately I had my elderly mother with me and I thought there were two beds but we managed. The staff downstairs in the bar were nice but I didn’t see any other staff members to be able to comment.
The stairs, I wasn’t aware until the day before and there were two flights of stairs not one. I went to a 80th birthday and a friend brought my mum back to the room and she was confined there because of the stairs. She was okay.

Parking was easy, we were right at the front door. Great not having to physically check in, just need code for door which was easy to use. The whole building is stunning, the pictures and artworks were great, wish we had more time to check them out. Aircon was icey cold and worked instantly.
Everything was immaculately clean but there was a musky damp smell in the carpeted stair well.

Great for a pub!
Noisy fridge in the kitchen, noisy road outside..

Bedding was exceptionally comfortable, especially considering the price.
Room was modern, spacious and clean, and the air conditioning was very quiet.
Ceiling above shower leaked, and hotel corridors were a bit stuffy - could use some ventilation.

We thought the Sherwood was exceptional value for money. There were some minor drawbacks but the rooms were away from the central part of the pub so it was very quiet. The bed would have to have been the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The pub restaurant was very good and offered a very good menu and our particular meals were very good. The bar offered ist rate craft beer and cocktails

Good bed and it was clean.
Needed a lot of maintenance, a bit run down and very basic.

Location was great, parked on street right out front overnight. Had a great steak for dinner in the hotel.

proximity and great being able to eat at the pub
my room door was left ajar when I arrived. the second I opened the door the smell of smoke and nicotine nearly killed me . I had to pry open the double glazed windows and turn on the aircon all night just to breathe . I did raise this with the cleaner on my
way out the next morning. Even my clothes reeked of cigarette smoke the next day

There's nothing ,all was very satisfactory

the location is excellent, the staff are amazing, the value is fantastic. The rooms both 1 and 7 are not fulfilling the potential. room 7 requires an overhaul but a few quick wins. clean the extractor fan, fix the taps so they turn off and deal with the floor noise at the end of the bed, also a headboard would enhance the experience. value for money yes but some easy fixes to ensure return business and overall experience
location, price and proximity to restaurants

The artwork and the decor was nice.
It is understandable that the hotel had been in a flood. It had a damp feeling. It would be good if roof outside the Room 4 window was washed down. There was black mould in the window sill. Bathroom needs a new vanity and the toilet is built for a two year old its too low.

Location was central and the room quiet.we travelled to Lismore
Hotel kitchen was busy and cooked my steak perfectly.
Excellent, clean and newly refurbished en suite..
Coffee and breakfast options were close by, literally next door or a short walk.
WiFi was available but took some accessing. No code in the room.
A second bedside light and another chair would have been appreciated.

Check in was by PIN provided by SMS when the room was ready.
Location was very handy.
Good room size and recently renovated.
Bathroom rubbish bin not emptied from last guest.
Need more body wash for showering (had two tubes of conditioner, maybe error in stocking)

Location was great. Main bedroom was good. The bathroom was really nice. The kitchen facilities and washer/dyer was good. The doors were all touchscreen electronic, which I loved. The main entrance was easy to spot. The restaurant and bar was great, but pricey.
The fold out couch is awful to sleep on, can feel the wire and seems way to thin.. needs a topper or something. The other bed isn't big enough for two, but was nice to chill out on. Some guy was using the hallway window as his own cigarette break, which wasn't great as we could smell the smoke as the window was right next to our room when walking to and from the stairs.
