About this bed and breakfast

The Bird Nest is the (Guest House) of a recently built custom private home (House Phoenix). Located on 15 private wooded acres backing up to Yellowwood State Forest, in beautiful Brown County, Indiana.
Multiple marked hiking trails are reachable within a couple miles or explore the private property. The town of Nashville, with its quaint shops and variety of restaurants, is only 4 miles away. Enjoy the recently updated interior with internet speeds up to a gig. Watch a movie on the 50" flat screen, or enjoy a book out in the hammock. During chillier times or inclement weather, lounge in front of the fireplace.

Barbeque on the rear deck or sit around the fire pit, all the wood needed included.

Wood is available for free to guests for the fire pit. During or after inclement weather owner can supply dry wood, if desired.

Was very quiet and calm. Something we all needed due to coming from a city. Where there is always noise. Rooms were excellent and very comfortable. Not far from Nashville brown county shopping either. They also had little handwritten notes which gave it a little personal touch. Recommend for sure

Our family enjoyed a wonderful escape at the Bird’s Nest cabin in Nashville, Indiana. There was plenty for all of us (myself, my young son, and my parents) to enjoy. Great stay and a cute property. Clean and well maintained. Only downside is that it is not completely private because owners are on site...the structure is actually attached to the garage on the end of their house. If that does not bother you, then great place!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place. So many amenities and just such a great place for a group of old high school friends to get together for a weekend. We didn’t let some snow keep us away, and the hosts were super accommodating to that. Looking forward to coming back soon!

We wanted to do something special for our daughter's 16th birthday. She loves riding horses so we went to Brown County Park. It was beautiful!!! This house was conviently located close to park and shopping. We were not disappointed but were instead pleasantly surprised that it was nicer than expected. Would recommend!!!

Our second spring stay at this cabin, with comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, spacious dining area, well furnished but not cluttered living room. The back patio with grill looks out on forest and front porch ideal to watch rain. Close to great hiking and dining. Bloomington restaurants short drive away. Attentive host. Highly recommended.
