We stay here every August but this is our first time in this unit and we will only be renting this one from now on! Very roomy, clean and had everything you could possibly need!

The condo itself is in a fantastic location away from the crowded Seawall but accessible to everything you need. The condo is cozy and well-furnished with plenty of beach ready equipment (towels, chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards), paper towels, toilet paper, sheets, blankets, pillows, kitchen supplies, etc. with a phenomenal view of the beach. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The kitchen itself is tiny with a two burner stove top, microwave convection oven, and toaster oven. Not ideal for large meals/families but totally doable for our little family of four (We were able to cook chicken in the toaster oven -which bakes and broils in addition to toasting, and the pasta cheese bake in the stove and microwave convection oven) Unfortunately our stay was cut short due to Hurricane Beryl. Paige was amazing from start to finish and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, as well as kept in contact with us regarding the track of the storm. We chose to stay based on the local forecasters information and listening to the locals regarding the potential threat. Unfortunately we took a direct hit. Paige immediately responded to all texts and was willing to come and bring us whatever we may need if we chose to stay or offered us a refund for the day of the hurricane and remaining days we had left on our reservation. Side note-Her supply of instant coffee saved the day when we lost power as that was a very long night/day. We would definitely stay again!

The apartment was great. The owner was quick to respond. The staff on the property were very courteous and accommodating. It was a quick walk down to the beach. There were plenty of things to do around the property, but we spent most of our time site seeing, down at the beech or in the pool. Highly recommended.

We stayed in Galveston while our oldest went to Sea Camp at Texas A&M Galveston Campus. The condo is located on the east end of the island and away from the crowded park of Seawall Blvd,
which was perfect for us . The condo suited our needs for the amenities provided. We did some light cooking in the kitchen and loved sitting outside on the deck with the ocean view. There was beach equipment in the condo which was great for us because we flew in. The pool was the perfect size! The building staff was helpful. The owner was very responsive and friendly when we had questions.

We booked this for a long weekend trip for our family of four (two young children), and it was perfect for our needs. There were plenty of essentials like paper towels, soap, salt/pepper, and olive oil. The kitchen has a toaster oven, and the microwave can be used as a convection oven. It worked out well for easy to make meals. The front desk was so helpful and kind. The property was clean and right on the beach. It was nice to be away from the noise of Seawall Blvd but close enough to be a quick drive. Paige was incredibly responsive and helpful. Will definitely stay again if we return to Galveston.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The check in process was super easy, and everyone was so friendly and helpful! The condo is even more beautiful than the pictures show, and it was spotless when we arrived. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. We loved this section of the beach because you’re not right by a public access point. We almost had the beach all to ourselves! We would definitely stay here again!!

Our family of four enjoyed our stay here. It’s quiet, the beach is easily accessible and the tennis courts and pool were nice. The property is gated so parking was not an issue.

We absolutely LOVED our stay in the condo over New Year’s break. Our family of three stayed 6 days & really hated to leave. It was extremely comfortable & very well stocked. The condo was quiet & felt completely safe. It had all the basics including coffee, spices, oil, toilet paper, trash bags, & paper towels. Plenty of soap & dishwasher tabs. The kitchen was small but met our needs. It doesn’t have a full size oven for serious cooking but it we were easy able to accommodate using the other appliances there. We used the shared washer & dryer that takes coins & cards & we’re pleased with the results. The master king bed was VERY comfortable & my daughter loved the bunk beds. We kept the balcony doors open most of the time to soak up the ocean air. The pictures don’t do the condo justice! John, at the front desk, was so welcoming as were the other ladies who worked there. Check-in was a breeze & we had no problems getting in late at night. It is an easy walk to the beach & the condo has everything you would need(chairs, toys, small cooler, umbrella, etc…). It is a little out of town but with 3 minutes drive to a Walgreens & several restaurants along the Seawall. We see this as the first of many visits to Islander East! Thanks Paige!

We just stayed a weekend and it was great for my family. We have 4 kids so don't fit in hotel rooms. The bedroom with the bunks was perfect and the king bed was super comfy. Would definitely stay here again for a weekend!

We had a lovely stay from check in to check out. The beds were super comfortable! I own a tempurpedic at home and I am usually very picky in regards to mattresses. The kitchen was well-equipped. The beach was empty, so we had it all to ourselves! We will definitely be returning to this listing.

We made a last minute booking through VRBO and we could not have been more pleased with our stay. Communication and booking was easy and trouble free. Check-in was also painless as the from desk staff is super friendly and professional. (Ron is awesome!)
The condo itself is absolutely beautiful with modern furnishings and cute ‘beach’ decor. It is complete with everything you need for your beach vacation. The owner even provides an umbrella and chairs for your comfort on the beach.
This condo is an absolute gem and we highly recommend for your next Galveston trip!!

The Islander East has been a destination for our family for over 40 years, and this most recent trip did not disappoint. The condo is nicely updated, clean, and has a great view from the seventh floor. Easy access within walking distance to the beach. Freshly redone tennis, basketball and pickle ball courts. The pool and lobby also looks to have been renovated in the not too distant past. The host was great as was the management at the Islander East. We would stay here again!

We loved everything about the condo and the location. The amenities available were wonderful! Tennis, pool, basketball court, other outdoor games. The beach was so clean and not crowded at all.

The view of the beach was awesome! We loved the walk down to the beach! The pool was nice but very small. The cleanliness of the condo was horrible. The bed sheets smelt moldy and stale. We had to wash and dry them ourselves because the bed sheets smelt dirty. We ended up going downstairs to front desk to ask for a vaccum because the floors were disgusting. The air filters in the air conditioning unit were disgusting. I ended up cleaning all the filters myself. The garbage disposal didnt work. The sink in the bathroom gets stuck on close. The shower was made for someone who is under 5ft tall. The stove top burner is so small you can only use one at a time. The shower tub drained incredibly slow. There was a light in one of the bedrooms and I felt it was too close to the bed that could have caused a safety issue like catching a bed on fire. Many of the outlets didnt work. The ac in the kijg bedroom would only cool down if it stayed on constant fan otherwise it would not work. The storage is horrible there. The owner has to much personal stuff there that there was no room and we had to live out of our suitcases.We ended up leaving early because we felt closterphobic. There is no kitchen table or anywhere safe for young children to eat. There was no coffee tables or side tables.We also didnt have water for a few hours for what we assume was maintence. The front desk was very nice to my entire family. There were more cons than pro to staying here.

Our family of 4 had plenty of room - the condo is bigger than it looks in pictures. Quiet, well maintained, comfortable beds, 2 balconies, great view! Pool is heated and perfect. Beach was wonderful. Great location, close to everything, but not crowded at all. We had such a pleasant experience! The only “issues” were that we couldn’t find an iron , the bathtub drained slowly, and the bowl sink is tiny. So, obviously no real problems!

Great place right on the water. Everything was as stated in the listing. The condo is in a great facility with grills, tennis, heated pool, and bocce ball, bags game, and horseshoe. Lots of things to keep you busy when not at the beach!

We loved our stay! The condo was clean, well stocked, comfortable and quiet. We were sad because it was foggy both days we were there but we could tell that normally the view of the beach would be spectacular. And the walk to the beach on a sunny day would have been just perfect. We enjoyed the heated pool and had it all to ourselves, and the staff and other residents were super friendly.

We spent an entire week at this property. It was a great location, clean and just as described! The building it self was secure and very clean! The pool is heated, which was nice since we visited in December. Property provided lots of extras including beach chairs, sand toys, tennis rackets, Roku TVs. The view of the ocean was perfect and you could see both the sunrise and sunset. We will definitely be back!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The place is beautiful and you can’t beat the location. It’s close enough to anything you’d want to do but far enough away to not feel overcrowded. We will definitely stay again.

If you like close proximity to the beach without the chaos of beach activity, this is the perfect spot. Private beach entrance across a footbridge from the condo property. No crossing a road. We stayed in July, and the beach was pretty quiet with plenty of sand to spread out.
Paige’s condo had everything our family of 5 needed. To our surprise, the bunk bed room also had a trundle bed, so all three kids had their own bed. The condo is light, airy, and beautifully decorated with two large sliders overlooking the Gulf (just as pictured). A/C units in every room kept things plenty cool. Blackout curtains made it easy to sleep in. We were never disturbed by noise from neighbors or surrounding properties.
There are 3 gas grills on the property, as well as yard games (Bocce Ball, horseshoes, ladder ball, cornhole) and tennis and pickle ball courts. There is also a pool, so plenty to do if you want a break from the beach.
A couple of things to keep in mind if you stay here, this is a small condo, so you’ll likely have to get creative with the space if you’re traveling with a group or family. Cooking meals for 5 was a bit challenging, as there is a two-burner cooktop and a toaster oven. The only dining seating was 4 bar chairs around the extended countertop. These did not impact our stay, just something to plan for if you’re staying here.
We had a great time on our first ever trip to Galveston. We would absolutely stay in Paige’s condo again as a family!
