Great environment, beautiful location and interior decor. Kept warm, very spacious. Homey and quaint. Even in downpour rain, it felt at home. Parking is close and covered. The treats and food and gifted wine were a welcome plus
!
Some of the homey, grandma-style furniture was rickety, but it wasn't bad. The shower curtain seemed small.

Location, cost, room were excellent

The owner, Lani, was wonderful. The blueberry muffins were very delicious and the wine was excellent. It was a hot day, so my son enjoyed the pool.
Nothing.

Great location to wind down after being in the crowds at tastings and down town. The beds were so comfy! Everything was very clean. This was the most relaxing place I’ve ever stayed near wine country. Loved having wine on the porch in the evening and coffee in the morning listening to birds chirp.

It was a little older property, but we enjoyed looking out on the porch at the vineyards & it’s rustic charm.
The carpet. Kind if worn, prefer hard floors.

It definitely was NOT our case of that 'fairy-tale stay' in middle of Napa Valley that everyone described here. The fresh fruits and bottle of wine left in the room was appreciated and the bed in the main room was comfortable. The rest was not as great.
We arrived to the accommodation and checked ourselves in as the host was away. Our suite couldn't be locked - we tried for about 20min, but didn't succeed and that meant we had to leave our room open (with all the important documents and valuable things) while we were out.
When we arrived in the evening, we wanted to use the grill for dinner, but we couldn't get it started and there was no lighter. When we reached our host, who left a phone number in case we needed help as she was away, she made us feel that we are rather really bothering her and practically told us to solve things ourselves. We couldn't find the cooking equipment (as we in the end decided to eat indoor), and we were told to 'look through the counters once again because it's there somewhere'.
There was no instructions on the WiFi connection - name, where to connect, nothing - and both of us had super big difficulties having network, and neither could we see any WiFi at the site.
The suite was very old-equipped. There was even a small fire in our fireplace - but it was hot summer outside - and we couldn't get it to stop even according to the remote instructions, which were left in the room. We couldn't find anything on the air-conditioning either - only after long time searching, we found this old box of navigating the air-conditioning in the back corridor behind the kitchen - not very intuitive and a note would be appreciated for sure, but the air-con worked well in the end.
The place wasn't clean - dusty carpet with several small stones on, spider nets found in almost all corners. We understand that it is located in the 'nature area', but when we stayed in other places near national parks, they definitely were cleaner and better equipped than this.
This place definitely could use some renovation, more cleaning and order, and more guest-oriented equipment - and service. Price-value wasn't satisfying unfortunately.

It was nice and very comfortable. The wine, fruit plate and banana bread were all great and made the place feel like home. The Location was very quiet wich I really enjoyed.

The location was comfortable, and the antique furnishings were lovely. The beds were comfortable. The gardens was peaceful.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, and close to town. Lani was so kind and it felt very relaxed. The room had everything we needed and more. We didn’t use the hot tub or pool but were pleased to have the option.
A light on the sign would be helpful for drivers returning or coming in at night.
4.5
Location and lots of space in the unit. Loved the muffins and breakfast.
Weather...but that's not the owner's fault.

Location was beautiful and Lani was very sweet and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.
Trip was too short.

Everything about this accommodation was right. Top highlights of the cozy space include a welcome bottle of wine, fresh baked goodies in the morning, hot tub, fire place, and stunning views. Location was also prime on the silverado trail. Lani is an excellent host who I recommend for anyone planning to visit Napa Valley.
3.5
A fairly good location for us. Good to have plenty of room and some kitchen facilities. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. Lani was welcoming.
The furnishings need to be modernised, very old and some quite shabby. No real decent lighting in the rooms and very difficult to read or work at night. No WiFi available. The swimming pool was dirty.

The unit was cozy, quiet, and spacious. Lani was very welcoming! We appreciated the banana nut bread, fruit tray, milk, and orange juice provided for breakfast. I wish we had had more time to explore the property.

This is unquestionably the best place I've stayed since coming out of COVID - and I have been traveling extensively. My room was like staying at my house! A kitchen, sitting area, two bedrooms, bath. Outside deck to sit and watch the sunset. Beautiful grounds. Breakfast is provided in the room. An excellent continental - good cold cereal choices, orange juice, fruit, coffee and delicious muffins. Loni is the best hostess ever, charming, helpful and welcoming. I can't wait to go back!

Location was perfect! Our host greeted us like we were family! Our room was so quaint and comfortable and the little kitchen with everything you need for enjoying the stay. Breakfast was fresh baked banana bread, refrigerator was stocked with fresh fruit platter, fresh orange juice, milk, creamers for coffee and butter for our banana bread. I would have like to stay longer to enjoy the pool, hot tub and garden. Will return!
Maybe a little too much chlorine in the hot tub.

Lani greeted us and was exceptionally nice and showed us to our room which turned out to not only have two beds-but a separate bedroom (which we were not aware of-not in the description!) She left fresh banana bread, a fruit plate, orange juice, milk, cereal, and a bottle of wine! And there is a full ktichen plus robes in the closet! Very homey! Also very pretty grounds with a place to barbecue. Great for families! Real Country "feel" off the beaten path but close to town. We would definitely recommend and return!
Nothing I can think of! She had a guest book for comments as well. Not fancy if that is what you are looking for and 3 miles out of downtown Calistoga.
