view from hilltop pool was beautiful, spacious and comfortable room, planting throughout the property and it’s grounds was gorgeous, SPF available at the pool, comfortable sun loungers
My patio area furniture was all covered with rain covers (it has been sunny for weeks). no one thought to remove and prep the outside area of my room before guest check in?
The wine dispenser in room was broken/ empty.
Room service was barely edible and took over an hour for vegetarian pasta.
Hilltop pool service was non existent on Sunday. instead you were advised to order from boon cafe and they’d bring it, that took 90mins. it was so bad all the people who ordered at the pool, me included were comped. Two women stormed out of the pool area after waiting for 90mins only to have food they said was inedible.
Hot tub was filthy.
Two guests at the adult pool had their own speakers blasting out their own music along with the music being played by the hotel. it was awful. when I asked that one form of music be played they said they’d ask the guests with the speakers but couldn’t promise
Nothing extra in your room for Easter Sunday (chocolate etc), no bottle of wine upon arrival, no welcome drink….
for $1.5k a night I’d expect a lot better

This is a delightful way to spend a few days rest, relaxation in a lovely resort where everything works so well and the staff are so obliging. We loved our cottage and we greatly enjoyed dining in the Farm restaurant and breakfast at the Hilltop was delightful.
It's difficult to think of anything that could have been done better or which gave us any disappointment. We were slightly surprised that the resort was so quiet during the early part of the week and that the Farm restaurant wasn't open on Monday and Tuesday. But eating out in Napa was so easy thanks to the shuttle service.

The location is great and the property itself is very regal. We were there on a day that they had a wedding and severely understaffed and under prepared.
Very disappointing stay at Carneros. We had previously stayed here in 2019 and had a great time. Arrived at 11am and dropped off our bags, requested that the bags be placed in our room. We came back after wine tasting and got our room keys, bags were not in the room. Called the front desk, bell desk and concierge, nobody picked up. Had to drive back to lobby to get our bags myself. Room was dirty, cobwebs and dead spider. Shower door covered in mildew. When you spend $2200 a night you expect higher standards. Very sad to see such a beautiful property have such poor service and standards.

very hard to find somewhere to eat, very limited places open. very disappointing experience. front desk staff were less than helpful. all in all not worth the money.

good location. nice scenery. peace and quiet
Master bedroom only with one single sofa. Both living and master bedroom’s spaces are very limited. Furnitures, towels and fixtures of both rooms are very wear and tear.
Only provided few packages of instant coffee.
Everything in the mini-refrigerator is charged other than the drinking water. I paid$6.47 for a 330ml bottle of Perrier water, which taken by accident.

I Loved the staff and the cottage itself! The outdoor sitting area and room itself was one of a kind! The food
And Guava beer at Boonfly were amazing!
When I pay 1500 a night, I expect everything to be Pristine! The hot tub by the pool was not. Had a green slimy layer on seats and I didn’t get in. The pool with the view was also falling apart on the bottom on one side. They need to replanted both the main pool and main hot tub. Other than that everything else was great.

Pool and spa facilities were exceptional. One of the best facials I have ever had. For the most part the food on the property was also exceptional. Ambiance was great and the property was beautiful. Felt like a nice private getaway given that rooms are stand alone cottages.
The food was generally very good but we did have one terrible meal at the FARM which was very surprising given the reviews. The main courses were very over cooked and lacking in seasoning and the whole experience was 3 hours long because the service and the food was so slow. We also found that in general the quality of the service across the property was very variable. Sometimes it was exceptional and sometimes it was very bad, including asking the pool servers sometimes 2 and 3 times for a drink. We also could never get hold of the concierge after leaving multiple voicemails and sending emails. This was particularly problematic when we were trying to arrange our departure transport and had to call 5 times over 24 hours before we actually got confirmation that our request was resolved. Would have expected a bit more from a 4* and very expensive 'luxury' property.

It is obvious that no one else was paying full fare. Makes you feel a little cheated.

Breakfast was great. King bed was comfortable. Rooms and yards were fantastic.
Dinner was subpar, and the pull out bed was horrendous.
