Great home for a large group. Ten adults ( family)spent three days here to celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary. Beds and bedding in every bedroom was super comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped with not only dishes and glasses but with cookware as well. The dining room chairs are old and unstable, 2 of them were not safe to sit in, so we utilized 2 of the barstools they had in the kitchen so that we would have enough seating around the dining room table for everyone in our group for meals.
This group of 10 family members ranged in age from 86- 24, all average size and weight. The wildest activity going on over our 3 day stay was a 5 hour Monopoly game. So imagine my surprise when less than 24 hours after leaving the propertyI am notified that the property mgmt team has filed an insurance claim for broken chairs and a “jammed” cabinet that occurred during our stay! I immediately contacted the mgmt company and they have not responded. Be very wary of staying here if you purchase insurance because it appears they have utilized it to submit claims for damage that was present before we arrived ( can not even venture a guess as to where the alleged “jammed cabinet” is located.
In addition, the listing notes you have access to pool/ pickleball/ clubhouse facilities. Once you get your check in information you will find you may only use the facilities between 2pm and 6pm. Went to play pickleball at 4:15 and were denied, told mgmt Co had lied about access to club.

Very nice place, but could be MUCH better with very little effort. Unfortunately it smelled like someone cooked crab the night or nights before we arrived. That went away though. Everything was very nice and felt quite clean. Our issues with the property were:
1.) The hot tub was not clean & there was no skimmer net to be found. We had to splash quite a lot of bugs out. And not all of the jets seemed to be working.
2.) The dishwasher was full of dishes and the microwave needs a GOOD cleaning. It was pretty nasty.
3.) Half dry / half wet towels were left in the washer and there was a bug on them (not sure what kind) & the dryer was full of bedding. We took out the bedding & washed/dried the towels.
3.) There is barely any outdoor furniture for use, which is disappointing as we enjoy being outside.
*We did not address any of the above with property management, but it appears it wouldn't have mattered anyways based on our next/final issue.*
4.) I chose this property specifically because it stated wifi was available and we planned to work remotely. There was no password to be found, so we could not connect and therefore could not work. We received at least 2 emails from (I assume) property management. One asked questions about our hobbies/interest so that they could recommend things to do & the other was basically asking how the stay was going. I replied to both emails asking for a wifi password & did not receive any response whatsoever which was very disappointing.

The house was beautiful. The hot tub was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked, there is no need to bring any eating or cooking utensils. The check out was very easy and the only thing requested was taking the trash to the dumpster location due to bears. I will go back for sure!

Such a great house for our group. Our group of 9 people (5 kids… ages 3,4,6,7,9) and 4 adults fit comfortably with room to spare! Great amenities. We loved the hot tub after a day on the slopes. Only 5 minute drive down the mountain to Wintergreen. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this experience totally blew us away. We spent a long weekend for my birthday including 6 couples, two of which had 1 year old children, and this house was perfect. Everyone had their own bedroom plenty of space for everyone to get together but take time aside if needed. The property manager could be reached 24/7 and was very helpful with everything we had needed.
Moving forward, the house. This house was absolutely immaculate. From the views, to the layout of everything we literally couldn’t of asked for anything better in a vacation house. We cooked every meal in the kitchen that was fully stocked with everything we needed, we just had to bring the food! The large family room was perfect for relaxing watching some Netflix, and also playing some games having a few cocktails. The home is equipped with Bluetooth sound system that also connects the 1st floor ( where the pool table is) to the second floor (kitchen/living room) so everywhere we went in the house we always had music to listen to. Such a cool feature we were not expecting. The hot tub was another main feature we were looking forward to, and it did not disappoint. Very clean, and hot with all the jets working as they should.
The location of the house was also a main feature to us. It was a 5 minute drive down the mountain to get to the main wintergreen office where we all rented snowboards and skis and had a blast shredding the slopes. Devils backbone and bold rock brewery are about 15 minutes away which is definitely a must do.
One of the mornings we drove about 3 minutes to a scenic overlook right down the street and sat and watched the sunrise, which was to die for. After doing that , we drove another 3 minutes to Upper shamokin trail. The sign says .97 miles round hike, the decent down was very rocky but doable which lead to amazing views and scenery of a huge waterfall all flowing over down the river. The trail kicked our butts but was definitely worth the effort.
All around we recommend this house to anyone and we are already trying to plan another date to come back and enjoy this beautiful house!

Beautiful home with comfortable beds and furniture. The in house stereo system was great. We had heavy fog for our visit so only got to see the views on departure day. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking most meals. Super easy checkin and checkout.

This is a gorgeous stay up towards the top of Wintergreen. We gathered for a family reunion and long ski weekend up in the mountains. The house is very modern, with a well-equipped kitchen. Wonderful views from the deck that faces north towards the Shenandoah Valley. Five minute drive to the Wintergreen village. Fifteen minutes down into the valley with all of the ameneties that offers. Our family raved about this house, would stay here again.
