Heerlijk verblijf in prachtig pand

Geweldig mooi en oud pand wat prachtig is ingericht, mooi gelegen ver van de weg. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en ons werd een prachtige kamer toegewezen. Kamer was comfortabel, brandschoon en had een lekker bed. Wij gebruikten deze locatie om Le Havre (20min) en Honfleur (30min) te bezoeken.

De wifi was supertraag en inherent aan een oud huis, alles kraakt dus wel wat gehorig.

La conversation avec notre hôte David, le domaine, le petit déjeuner, les partitions de musique et les bouquins d'époque, ...bref tout.

Un de ces endroits magiques qu'on aimerait garder secret rien que pour soi!

Une découverte merveilleuse lors d'une étape, mais qui nous a donné envie de revenir pour un long séjour, tant l'endroit est magique et relaxant. On s'y sent bien dès l'arrivée, un écrin en dehors du temps qui ressource instantanément. Le manoir est somptueux, décoré avec grand soin et beaucoup de goût, chaque chambre est digne d'un conte de fée, je me suis sentie comme une princesse! J'ai dormi dans le confort absolu, tout a été juste idyllique. Merci infiniment pour les excellents mets, et la grande variété du buffet de petit déjeuner et les conversations intéressantes qui nous auraient donné envie de rester jusqu'à pas d'heure pour papoter et refaire le monde avec le propriétaire, qui est une personne qui mérite d'être connue, son sourire, sa bonne humeur et sa passion, qu'il nous transmet avec grand cœur, comme si chaque hôte faisait partie de la famille. Un pur moment de bonheur.

We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning.

The breakfast was excellent, and the location was perfect for seeing the Normandy region. We enjoyed the Manoir's cozy living room which was decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree and a warm fireplace to gather with family.

Charmant und gemütlich residieren im geschmackvoll restaurierten Manoir

Wunderschöner Park. Das Haus ist voller antiker Möbel und Ziergegenständen. Sehr auserlesen eingerichtet und restauriert. Herrliches Abendessen im stilvollen Speisezimmer.

Im Zimmer hatte es uns etwas zuviele, wenn auch wunderschöne, Möbel (wenig Platz für Koffer, wenn man auf der Durchreise ist) und das Doppelbett ist eher schmal für grosse 60+ -Gäste ;) .

What a marvelous reception and amazing historic place to be! The interior and the outside will take you back in history. Most recommended!

Authentic, beautiful, French Manor House. Wonderful host who could not do enough for us.

The breakfast was delicious and the scrambled egg was perfect. The house is stunning, so authentic and really well decorated. Our family suite was ideal for a family of four. Very clean, with 2 adjoining bedrooms and bathrooms. The grounds of the house were also stunning. The evening meal was delicious especially the dessert. We really enjoyed our night there.

The room was beautiful and it was lovely to have a bath in the bathroom. My only criticism is the mattress wasn’t very comfortable so we didn’t have the best night sleep.

Great choice to relax and visit the main attractions in the region.

David is a great host and attentive to the customers' needs. The are excellent lunch and dinner options. The room is comfortable and quiet. Amazing garden to relax. Excellent location for visiting the main attractions.

the perfect weekend getaway

The mansion is charming and full of old antiquities and nice decorations. Every room is spacious and has its own style and decor. you can breath history. The garden is well kept.

it is not suitable for business travelers. they are not able to provide invoice. and the location is too far away from central, the taxi cost double because it comes from center.

Main character in a beautiful manoir 🪷

This manoir makes you feel like a main character in a 19 century movie, very picturesque everywhere you look at. In the middle of nowhere, yet charming surroundings. The host is amazingly friendly.

I’m quite pretentious when it comes to cleanliness and unfortunately lots of dust and spider web around was seen… I do understand tho that the house is in the middle in the countryside but it really needed a deep cleaning. The noise is pretty transparent among the house and rooms.

An excellent overnight stay in a beautifully renovated manoir.

We were warmly welcomed and attention was given to making our stay enjoyable. We were very much at ease. There was plenty of space to relax. We took an evening picnic into the large grounds, with our hosts ensuring we had everything we needed beforehand. The two lounges, which were specifically for guests, were very comfortable, with coffee and tea available. The decor, furniture and fittings throughout were very tasteful- consistent with the age, style and quality of the manoir. The breakfast was of a high quality, with a wide variety of choice.

We have a minor suggestion to make. Perhaps the provision of toiletries for the shower?

Stunning Manoir and perfect host

Manoir du Clap was delightful. The host met me on arrival and was very welcoming. The Manoir has been renovated recently and is impeccable furnished. There are two lounges for residents to use on the ground floor. The breakfast was delicious with a good selection of local cheeses, meats and bread, plus delicious scrambled eggs made to order. There was also fresh fruit, yoghurt and pastries available. I would recommend this b&b wholeheartedly.

There were no faults with the property. A neighbour had a dog that barked quite loudly but honestly that’s it!

it is a wonderfull historic manoir house in countryside with very nicely styled rooms with different topics. We had a Chambre deluxe and a Chambre Supérieure on the same floor. The owner and his son are very nice and the breakfast was really superior-excellent with so many different things to take, prepared in the large and very nice living/dining room. It was a wonderfull stay for us.

Charmed by this manor and its host!

The house is charming and rustique. David, the owner, has renovated the manor with lots of thoughts and taste. The room was charming and calm, with a view to the garden and the cows in the field. The bed linen was dried outside in the wind and gave me a good night sleep. David’s home cooked dinner and the good and various breakfast give the guests the little extra. A gem! I want to go back!

Superb

The house is absolutely beautiful and Davide was a wonderful host. We had a really delicious dinner and the breakfast was fantastic. Davide made us feel very welcome and at ease like old friends. He was full of tips and helped us with directions. Would definitely recommend this place.

I did not like the cleaness, I barely could breathe because of the dust in the room, no possibility to take a shower. No facilities in the room: no kettle as indicated in the description, no crutches, no aircoditioning, no TV, no fridge, no curtains in the bathroom

Very obliging host.. provided us with an impromptu dinner as we didnt arrange in advance, due to unpredictablitiy of arrival time

The signage to the Manoir is very obscure..if you are driving at night, you will struggle to find the point at which you have to make the turn to get there.

Lovely mansion with beautifully decorated rooms and huge green territory around. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room has exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend to stay there during your trip in Normandy.

It’s a truly rare find - an exquisite manor house that has been renovated with outstanding taste to very high standards. Remarkably upkept, with a very kind host - and with excellent breakfast. Will definitely return.
