Traumhaft viele Bücher, für jeden was dabei. Egal ob Kultur, Roman, Krimi, verschiedene Sprachen,...

Very well located, good value for money. It is a cheaper add-on to a more fancy hotel, however it is not allowed to use the main hotel's facilities, like pool or beach. Nevertheless, the staff offer a free of charge entrance card to the community beach/pool area for the entire period of the stay, otherwise the price is about 6 eur/day.
Breakfast is ok, nothing fancy but all the products had good quality and taste.
It would be really good if the the guests of the Garni House were allowed to use the main hotel pool/beach for extra charge.

The hostess was delightful 🙂

This is also a 'bibliotel' so there are books everywhere which gives it a homely holiday feeling. We only stayed one night so didn't really get to read any. The reception is in the hotel next door. The breakfast was ample and diverse buffet with cheeses and breads. The bathroom was new and had everything we needed. Onsite parking is possible. Nice quiet surroundings with a short walk to the lake. The hotel has nice mountain views.
The towels are a bit old. The sauna has very short opening hours when most people are at dinner. As we stayed one night we had no chance. The hotel was hard to find as you need to go on a private road.

All the staff are great and friendly, the breakfast is very good and the room have a great view over the mountain and the cow farm!
Only thing were the flies which are hard to get rid off once they flied into the room.

I can highly recommend for everyone who want to have a great holiday. The hotel is located in a beautiful area between mountains at a shore of a wonderful lake. Such a peaceful place to rest.

Such a lovely hostess at the breakfast table, patient and caring. We had healthy food in the company of many grazing cows. A piece of paradise on earth.
The entrance to the hotel is actually via the entrance to another hotel, namely the Waldhof. Not being informed of this led to a bit confusion.

Breakfast really good and nicely served - the book concept really fun - no reception in the house itself (is in the other building) but we found that nice and more quiet
Nothing - all perfect

The room and furniture was quite old
The insulation of the shower was not good, when you took a shower you had a flood in the bathroom
The breakfast was not very big, not a lot of choices
Too expensive for the room in general

My wife really liked the library with tons of options in different languages. There were lots of quiet places to relax. The natural pool and lake access were wonderful. The breakfast also had many options.
There were bikes available but from only 8am-10am. We would have liked to have been able to checked out before 7:30am.

Very pleasant and decorative accommodation.
Common spaces are decorated with books and book products.

This was the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. Garni Haus’ staff were all so very kind, from the front desk to the breakfast/cafe staff. I only wish we stayed longer. It was so relaxing.

It is a paradise! Not only the guesthouse but he village too.Don't think twice and book this place. You get sauna for free and a natural lake where you can dive in after sauna. It is for adults only because you can go to the lake naked-but it is an option, not a must. The area is just stunning and staff very friendly. The breakfast is excellent. If you like books, this is your place. The guesthouse has a lot of books and a library where you can sit, read and enjoy the magnificent views. You also get city bikes for free and the hotel complex organizes activities for its guests.

Great location, very close to the lake
Nice breakfast and nice staff at the breakfast
The bed was uncomfortable,
There is no reception in the hotel, we had to go to the other hotel for anything we need

excellent breakfast served on the terrace of the building. beatiful view on the garden and the surrounding village and nature. the place simply forces you to relax. my tip: room 107, enjoy the room and the view!
It was a bit challeging to find the building, even for the navy

Very clean and nice hotel, with nice surrounding.
Breakfast was not exactly what expected.

We booked this on short notice and were pleasantly surprised. This adult only hotel is part of a bigger complex but well enough separated from the rest. Nice nature pool and a lot (!) of books available for free at the hotel. It is called a "Bibliotel" (mix of a library and a hotel). Very cool concept and a very wide array of books available (though about 80-90% is in German of course). Good breakfast.
It was a bit noisy in the morning when the cleaning staff went around, but that was not too much of an issue.

Very nice quite, cozy clean place. Excellent breakfasts served by Nicole. She is an amazing lady speaking fluent English and very helpful with recommendations of places to go and visit. We can’t not wait for our next visit.

Dogs are not allowed in breakfast room, which was kind of surprise... Definitely not a 4 star hotel, like it was prezented.
