About this house rental
Welcome to Frontier. Step into this mountain home, where sunlight pours in through floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors that provide sweeping views of nearby ski slopes. Wood, leather, and plaid furnishings bring warmth into this cozy space, while a large dining table with many chairs invites large groups of friends and family to gather and enjoy what Frontier is all about– time spent together in a beautiful and natural setting. Every corner of the home has up-to-date fixtures and decor, from the kitchen and living areas to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The best part? Thoughtful touches, including a record player, lower level kitchenette, and outdoor patio with a much-needed BBQ grill. And, of course, a hot tub because no mountain home is complete without a spa for soaking under the stars after a long day on the slopes.
A Colorado town known for both its snow and Gold Rush history, Breckenridge is a dreamy mountain escape within a world-class ski resort, where beginners and experts alike attest that the slope offers “something for everyone.” Breckenridge boasts the highest altitude in all of Colorado, so be sure to board the lifts early for first tracks on its numerous powder days! Then, get boozy at your favorite après ski joint where you’ll encounter everything warm: the people, the fireplaces, and the spiked hot chocolate.

We had an incredible stay. Everything was clean when we got in and the house is spectacular, with everything you need to have a great vacation. The location is perfect, combining a beautiful view and short walk to town. Would love to stay again!

Great communication, easy check in, awesome views from the deck. Plenty of room for all 14 adults in our group. Comfotable beds. Propane supplied for grill.

Our group had a great time at the house. Great location. Ample room for everyone to hang out comfortably, sleep, and break off into side conversations. A bit pricey, but we would likely stay here again.

Our extended family of thirteen all came together in Breckenridge for a special spring break trip. The Avant stay team was extrememly communicative and helpful (even plowed the driveway when we got over 1.5 feet of snow!) and the house had plenty of bedrooms and common spaces for our big group.
Two things to note: the house is a bit older and there is some wear and tear throughout (but overall extremely clean and comfortable!). Also be aware that there are five flights of stairs that connect the different levels of the home. My nephew is special needs and while some stairs are fine, the sheer number in this house proved a little challenging. Not a negative review! Just something to be aware of based on the needs of your group.
Thanks AvantStay for a great home base for us in Breck!

We picked the perfect house for our Christmas ski holidays. Loved walkability to town. Sledding and skiing from here easy. House ideal for family with young adults and their friends. Fit everybody comfortably. Avantstay managed all of our needs.

We had a large family group, with 10 adults and one infant. Accommodations were excellent, with space for everyone! Great location, close to town and skiing. While some spaces (kitchen and most bathrooms) were updated, the home did show some wear and tear and a little aging. But everything was in excellent working order, and it didn’t take away from the cozy charm and comfort at all! The hosts were super accommodating and responsive. We would absolutely return!

The panoramic views of the mountains were stunning! The location was ideal--quiet, yet close to town and trails. Yes, there are stairs, but the variety of rooms and number of beds and bathrooms is very accommodating to large groups/families (we had 15). Grill was good and there were many games for guests to use (and books as well!). Yes, there were some things that needed fixing and some wear and tear, But it was a great stay and we would choose it again!

Plenty of room for a larger group or several families. Easy walk to town.

The property is in an ok location and there is plenty of parking. The home is very dated and needs some TLC. The carpet in the kitchen is unraveling and a hazard for tripping. The home should have water humidifiers in each room as it is very dry due to their heating system,. For the money per night this was very disappointing.

14 family members stayed for a long weekend. Plenty of comfortable beds and bathrooms and 2 family rooms so lots of room to spread out. The house has lots of stairs which give you a good workout and the views are fantastic! Location is a quick walk to Main Street with a path for a short cut, very convenient walked everywhere.

This house only has the nice view from main floor balcony otherwise there is no other features to be chosen, this house has multi level floors with lots of stairs. we don’t recommend to stay here if you you have elder person in your group even young people have difficult time to go up and down the stairs and one of the rooms in the basement smells
Bad and we couldn’t use the room at all.

Heater not working
The Heater did not come on the first nite so we called first thing in the morning and John came by and he called the heating man. Apparently new heater was just put in and never tested. It was a horrible night for all of us.
The two chairs in the picture of the living room are not there, there was just a random chair in the living room. The four flights of stairs and not talked about in the add. Very rough on getting up and down stairs. If you are young great, but olders had a hard time. Floors need to be redone as well as all the wood outside. Great location but needs a lot of work.

Excellent location, perfect for a large group
The views are outstanding! Location is convenient to shopping, restaurants, family activities in downtown Breckenridge. Free bus system takes you to the base of the mountain to ski.

To many stairs for little kids!
I would’ve given the property an A but I have to give it a B because of all the stairs and our little grandkids were too young and they were too dangerous for them.
