La atención, buenísima. La facilidad para preparar mis alimentos si ese fuera el caso, ya que cuenta con cocina, dispensador de agua, todo a la mano.

Fugas o filtraciones en el lavabo del baño. No había jerga o limpiador para secar los escurrimientos. El colchón con unas manchas añejas al parecer de sangre. Las toallas estaban disponibles solo si las necesité. Jabón, solo de manos. Creo que no era habitación "doble"; quizá así se oferta por contar con baño privado.

En general buena,en realidad no tuve mucho tiempo de interactuar con los empleados.

Me gusto la suavidad de las camas y la ubicación de la recamara

Que no proporcionaran un jabón para bañarse,tuvimos que ir a buscar al supermercado

Excelente relación calidad-precio por un hospedaje bien ubicado en MTY.

La ubicación y el personal es muy bueno, rápidamente atienden dudas y problemas, se ve que tienen bastante experiencia administrando este hostal. No vas a encontrar en MTY un lugar que ofrezca un precio tan bajo, por tan buena ubicación y buen servicio.

Podrían tener lockers más grandes o en mejor estado, porque los que tienen son lockers metálicos algo pequeños que hacen un montón de ruido al abrir o cerrar, aunque esto no debe ser problema para el viajero que solo lleva unas pocas cosas... pero este no suele ser el caso de la mayoría de los backpackers.

It was okay. Good price and for a short stay over yup

I liked how the beds were they were bunks and single beds. The rooms were clean It was skittle better than I expected base on the prices.

The fact that a couldn't cook for myself I would have to eat what they cook or buy from them So I opted for an Airbnb instead.

The common area and access to the kitchen. The staff is very nice

I think the hostel is very simple considering it costs almost 17 E to sleep in 8 people room. The beds are comfortable but there is only one light in the whole room so anyone coming in wakes up everyone with strong white light. And it is located in the middle of a nightlife area, so people are coming in during the whole night. The AC has an unpleasant smell and is very loud.

Amazing time and a great opportunity for meeting new and exciting people

My stay at My Family In Monterey was fantastic! It is located in the perfect place downtown right in the heat of all the action and not far for a quick trip to the mountains. The facility is nice, it matches the photos. What I really enjoyed though was the people! The staff are all friendly and fun and I got to meet so many interesting travellers who came from all over the world and all had their own fascinating story to learn about.

Location is good.

No hot water. Night receptionist does not respect the guests-he came in the room with another guest after midnight,turning on the light,when a flashlight/mobile would have been sufficient. There were other people sleeping in the room. (Other guests did the same,completely disregarding that it is a shared room,but that's not the hostel's fault.) The room facing the street is very noisy, cars all night.

Advertised as best room … but no furniture other than bed. No view. Across the road from hostel and kitchen and shower faucet shot water everywhere. For the price I’d have expected a bit more.

Pleasant

Good location, clean facilities, and accommodating me due to their errors after persistent comments.

Halfway through my stay i arrived to find that i had been moved beds without my previous knowledge. When i went downstairs staff notified me that i had been sleeping in the wrong bed for 2 nights. I stated the staff who admitted me told me to take a bottom bed and to notify her the number which i did. So the error was on their behalf after like 2 hours of trying to solve the issue they moved me to a bigger room which was nice. What made me upset was moving my stuff without my knowledge, the way the front desk staff phrased her words to belittle me like i had made an error, and the general unwillingness to help until a new front desk worker came in. Better training should be provided to staff.

2022 Update: Still the best hostel in Monterrey!

it's almost impossible to beat a 10/10, but it happened! this year's hostel stay wasn't even nicer than last year. a warm receptionist named Johnathan checked me in. even though we shared the front room, he was barely in there, so the room felt like it was mine. 2 outlets are at every bunk. there is no key for the front door for added security, but a pin pad. it was also the first time i used the stove and i met a friend every there i was there. wifi was perfect. best hostel in monterrey, hands down.

i think cold mornings like this one i'm writing the review damper the hostel effect - as half the hostel is outdoors. but it's usually very nice outside.
