Updated, open concept cottage. Located on dead end street with Crystal Lake access ~100 feet from cottage on Outlet Bay and sandbar. Large kitchen and easy access (park next to cottage, one step up to enter). Custom beds maximize sleeping space in second bedroom. WiFi, Roku TV.

We had a great time staying in this cottage in Frankfort. It was very clean and the kitchen has tons of room for cooking, etc. The only issue we ran into was our infant, who didn't sleep well in his pack and play in the sunroom, so we moved him to the bedroom and slept on the couch. The hosts were very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. I highly recommend staying here!

Didn't realize the cottage wasn't air conditioned . My bad!
But we walked through the front door and the dog odor hit us like a ton of bricks. Indoor temperature was 77 deg. and the humidity was 78%. Was instructed to open all the windows but there was no air movement . Slept all night with sore throats. Next morning humidity was 81%, indoors. Next day was better. Indoor temperature got down to 74 deg. humidity was still around 78 %. I do realize this was probably unusual weather for the area. Very high humidity outside . Since the cottage didn't have AC we had to sleep with the windows open . There was a lot of road noise noticed from the front bedroom. We left early. Didn't stay our 3rd night. Plus side , cottage was very cute. Short walk to the water. Shoreline starts off rocky but within 20 to 30 feet transitions to beautiful sand. The cottage definitely has potential.

Very clean and comfortable house in nice residential area within short walk to Crystal Lake. The kitchen layout and amenities are great, plus we made use of griddle grill in backyard. Host provided guide resources of things to do in area, which was helpful. Enjoyed our stay!

Such a cute modernized house with great location and water access! We loved the open floor plan and layout and the home was really well stocked with everything we needed for our girls trip, even an ice machine. We enjoyed bonfires in the backyard and watching movies in the comfy living area, and sunsets at the lake. The location was perfect for Frankfort and Elberta, and trips to Sleeping Bear and so many great beaches and wineries. The bunkroom was also fun, us 3 girls shared the room sleepover style and had a lot of laughs. Thanks for sharing your perfect home with us!

We loved our stay at this cottage. Crystal lake is beautiful, Frankfort is a super cute little town, and we loved checking out sleeping bear dunes. Our favorite beach was Elberta beach on Lake Michigan, it’s a hidden gem for sure.

Beautiful home set just steps away from Crystal Lake. The house was super clean and great communication from the owners! It was great for our family 3 under 5 and plenty of space to enjoy as well as great location to explore the area from! Thanks for a great family getaway spot!

Everything was great! Easy check in and out, great location, beautiful area. Room set up was nice, kitchen had pretty much everything you might need, and the house has a good layout.
If you have more than a few adults parking may be an issue, so just check with the property owner to make sure you’ll have enough space.

Very nice versatile lay out. Well furnished, including kitchen gadgets! The location is perfect, close to Lake Michigan, small towns, Sleeping Bear dunes. Quiet neighhood.

Great place and perfect location. My family and I loved the lake and the walking trail. We rented a boat for the day and the fishing was incredible. Caught over 50 fish. We also went to Lake Michigan and walked the town of Frankfort.
House rental included kayaks, paddle boards and tons of games. It was equipped to make it feel like home away from home.
We had the best time and will definitely book again in the future.

My family had such a great time here! The house is equipped with everything you’d need, is absolutely darling, and the owners have gone out of their way to provide extras that make a trip to the UP memorable. Crystal Lake is beautiful. We all (4 teenage boys and their parents) enjoyed exploring on kayaks and paddle boards. Neighbors were kind. Very quiet area. The proximity to the lake, Betsie trail, Beulah, and Frankfurt is fantastic. Great rental! Great trip!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We enjoyed our days playing at the lakes and beaches, sightseeing and just enjoying the area. The house was a great place to rest and recharge for the next days fun. We have two kids (age 4 & 5), they lived the bunk room! We definitely want to come back.

We used this cottage as a resting spot while we visited our family on a different section of Crystal Lake. As a result, we did not use the beach much but the house provided everything we needed to be comfortable and relax.

The property is nice. Neighbors are nice. Would love a sandy beach, but I was aware that this property did have lake access and that was fun. We loved the lake, it is so clean and pretty.

Awesome location, perfectly updated cottage
A great week of water, sun, biking, beaches, breweries, and relaxation in Northern Michigan. The place was just right for our family. Comfortable beds. A modern kitchen and living area. Easy access to the lake and to the bike paths. And a very responsive hostess with great local recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Perfect little cottage on Crystal Lake!
My husband and our two daughters (1 and 3 yo) had a lovely week at this cottage in June! It was spotlessly clean and modern. Even though it was small, it had all the room we needed. Our 3 yo slept in the bunkbed room (sleeps up to 4), and we set up our 1 yo in her Slumberpod in the sunroom off the kitchen. Livingroom was cozy, and kitchen was well stocked. There was everything you'd ever need to go play in the water, although it was a little too chilly to go swimming. There is a small strip of public access to Crystal Lake at the end of the street which our daughters enjoyed.
Only things to note, especially for families: There's only a shower (no bath) which was a bit challenging for the kids. We purchased a little tub mat to prevent them from slipping in the shower. There's also no washer or dryer. Kids being kids, we had to do a few loads by hand in the kitchen sink and hung our laundry outside to dry on the supplied laundry line and clothes pins. Lastly, there is no AC, but plenty of fans in all the rooms. We had a couple scorcher days and struggled to keep it cool. Just plan to close all the blinds and keep the fans going during the day so it's not too hot at night.
The cottage is super close to everything you need, either in Frankfort, Beulah or Benzonia.

Clean and comfortable cabin for relaxing getaway
The cabin has been nicely updated and is bright, clean and comfortable. It has easy access to Crystal lake with use of paddleboards and kayaks and the entrance to the bike path is down the road. It is conveniently located between downtown Frankfort and Beuleh. I didn't see or hear anyone else on the street the whole weekend.

The Brig Stay
Nice place. Liked the south side of crystal lake. Bike trails were close, kayaking was fun, fishing on crystal was a good experience too! We always enjoy Roadhouse Mexican restaurant!👍

We loved this place!
This was our family’s (2 daughters ages 12 and 20) first time in Michigan and we had many plans to check out different areas while there….however we absolutely loved this property, the water access by it to Crystal Lake,and the cities of Frankfort and Beulah that we never wanted to leave the area! The house is modern, beautiful, well stocked and on a quiet street with friendly neighbors. We especially like the outdoor griddle and cooked many meals out there, along with bonfires in the backyard and playing in the water at the end of the street. The house is very close to Frankfort Beach, Beulah Beach, and Point Betsie. Although it was a warm Summer week when we were there, the lack of AC wasn’t that bad. We brought a fan from home and although the days were toasty, we were barely inside and the nights were perfect. We were so appreciative of the use of their water toys and they helped us really enjoy the water right there at the end of the street. This is very shallow water that is easy to safely play in. It was perfect. Thank you for sharing your perfect house with us! We enjoyed making memories there!

Amazing Cottage!
I love VRBO and have used it several times. This cottage is, by far, the best one I have stayed at. The interior has everything you need kitchen wise. The open layout has plenty of space for family time...and that little back porch if you've had too much family time. The outdoors...truly priceless. I cannot remember a vacation where I felt so relaxed. Being on the sand bar is amazing. I did daily and evening water walks, the water depth was perfect! My boys enjoyed the paddle board, but spent most of their time just floating around. The location is fantastic, too! 10 minutes in either direction takes you to the cutest small towns for meals out. 30 minutes north is Sleeping Bear Dunes for hiking and a ton of beautiful lake Michigan beaches. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with my family!
