Great property, secluded from other properties (can’t see the neighbors on either side). Unobstructed views of the lake from multiple decks, even from the master shower. Great getaway, but yet close to town square and amenities. Great to step away as an escape from the rat race we normally live

This was our second girlfriend’s getaway at this house. Great place for 8-10 friends! Beautiful views of the lake. Peaceful surroundings. Furnished with everything you’d need for meals at ‘home.’ Easy communication with the owner.

We enjoyed the stay at this house with a beautiful view of the lake. The comfort of the rooms and space was perfect for our family needs with several different age kids. Close enough to Granbury square to enjoy but far enough for peace and quiet. The neighborhood was great for walks, even with a stroller! The house had everything we needed and was quiet and comfortable.

Great girlfriends getaway weekend! As my friend said, a la Mary Poppins, it was “practically perfect in every way.” Top 3 favorites: incredible lake views from both levels, large dining table for 8, & equally spacious & comfortable living room seating for visiting & games…as well as outdoor seating on the balconies. As others have mentioned, there is only one bedroom on the main floor…but the stairs to the lower level were ‘negotiable,’ even for most of us septuagenarians. If you’re a large group, plan to carpool, as there is only parking for 3 cars. But overall, this is the best rental we’ve found for our group in many years!

It was great; however too many stairs to dock and stairs inside a little steep——we are all 65+and just getting too old for stairs!!! Overall it was great! Need to label switches for lights and fans and some of the fans need attention!

The pictures really don't do the property and views justice. This was a beautiful property with great natural views that is perfect for a family vacation or a get away with friends. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are friendly. The host had every starter we needed including a fully stocked kitchen to cook as little or as much as you want. Would certainly stay again

Great rental for a group/family reunion…plenty of space for everyone with different areas available for different activities. House could use a deep cleaning and needs some attention however.

The location was great as was the view and access to the lake. Our only complaint was the cleanliness. There was dust, dirt, and spiders/ webs everywhere. We had to clean the windows to fully enjoy the views from inside. The inside was ok, but we felt like all of the outside areas had to be cleaned before we could enjoy them. When the host was notified, we were told that it would be looked into. As a former VRBO owners, we felt obligated to share this info. It was obvious the place wasn’t maintained well or even often. A routine pest spray and window cleaning throughout would do wonders. The “industrial” ice maker was a portable ice maker and it was broken. The main ice maker didn’t work as well. The were not all huge issues, but would expect the windows to be free of dirt and film inside and out when the listing speaks so highly about the views from each room.

Wonderful Views
We stayed here for a mini family reunion. The house was so beautiful inside and out with really nice views of the lake from every room. The family rooms and beds were comfortable and relaxing, everyone slept good after long days out on the lake. We loved having access to our own private dock at the property. This made it easy access to our boats everyday and enjoyed fishing off the dock early morning and late night. The owner was very nice and responded immediately to any questions. We would definitely stay here again and hope we can in the future.

Beautiful views, tricky for young kids
This home has beautiful views, lots of outdoor living space, and a well outfitted kitchen - overall it is great for a large group of adults and older kids. However, it has TONS of stairs, both inside and outside, that make it a real challenge for kids under 2 (and we had two of those in our group). While it is technically "on the water", it is not ideal for swimming and the dock is unsafe. A member of our party fell through a rotten board but luckily was not seriously injured. I expect that the host will fix that board soon, and they were responsive when I reached out about the incident, but the dock as a whole is in need of serious repair/replacement.

Awesome House!
This is a great property for families.
We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful home with all the amenities. Lovely views and exceptional boat dock. Only recommendations is to check the house when you arrive for any broken items or defects. We were charged for broken items that we did not break. As well as charged for a pet that was brought in from a friend that just visited the house for a little under an hour. Parking is very scarce.

FABULOUS!
Our YaYa' s girls trip to see the Sound of Music was wonderful. The home is so inviting and spacious for 10 girls wanting to have fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the host hospitality. The only suggestion I would add is blinds on the bedrooms for light and summer heat control. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful way to Spend Christmas!
The pictures don't do the property justice. It was spectacular. We loved everything. When we first opened the door we were met with a fantastic Christmas tree! A very nice touch by the host. We had seven family members staying and there was plenty of room. We were also blessed with temperatures in the 80's which made kayaking and paddle boarding so much fun. The sunrises and sunsets were stunning. Most importantly, we were able to share a Christmas with our aging parents and were able to cook several amazing meals in the wonderful kitchen. We look forward to our next visit.

Beautiful Property
Great property, very spacious, very well equipped with beautiful views of the water and great amenities including usage of kayaks and paddle boards. The only reason to give this property a 4 start rating was lack of curtains in 3 of the 4 bedrooms, the sun rises over the lake and the rooms were super bright at 7 in the morning....forcing everyone to get up after late nights. also the patios could have been cleaner, there were cobwebs and need a better cleaning

Beautiful lake views & spacious home!
We spent three nights enjoying this home. Very spacious and nice floor plan. The decks are great for lake views and watching the sunset or sunrise. Our family enjoyed the seating for watching movies and playing cards as well as the spacious kitchen. We loved waking up to the water each morning.

Memorable getaway
The house is beautiful and situated on a cliff, so the views from the porches were wonderful. At my age, I didn't think I could make it down the steep steps to the dock, but it didn't matter because the upstairs porch was my favorite spot to relax and enjoy the view. There were six of us, including two young children, and we all had plenty of comfort and privacy. The living room was large enough that we could all enjoy hanging out together. We hope to come back here again.

Lake Side Retreat!
A very comfortable, well equipped lake front home with plenty of room for our 10 guest. Perfect location with a beautiful view of the lake and a dock to tie our boat up. Multiple cozy outdoor lounge areas for great fellowship. Located on a quiet, private cul-da-sac. We would highly recommend this home.

The living areas and view were incredible. Everyone had a bed to sleep in. The location was great for our day trips to Glen Rose and surrounding areas.

Family Reunion
Overall a positive experience but with some drawbacks. Boat deck was cluttered with acetylene canisters and we had trouble getting over the tools and boat lift to use the deck.

Lovely Lake Views to Water Fun with Paddle Boards and Kayaks
This was a lovely home with comfy beds and everything we could ask for. There was plenty of room for family members around the dining table or to spread out for game time. We had a blast with the kayaks and paddle boards! The lake temperature was just cooler than body norms and pleasant, even in mid August with near 100 degree days. The A/C worked well. I will say this is a great house for families with trustworthy 6 year olds and up and those who can manage several flights of stairs down to the boat dock. It is a bit steep and could be precarious for very young or those unable to navigate the steps if you intend to get on the water. If not, the views are nice from every major room of the house and it's 3 balconies!

From check in to check out everything was amazing. The only complaint was the tools left near the dock made getting the kayak and paddle boards out a little tricky. Definitely would stay again.

Beautiful house and views
Our first trip to Lake Granbury. This home is gorgeous and has plenty of room for family members. The views of the lake and the close proximity of restaurants and shopping only add to the charm. Stairs to the lake are steep and numerous but the dock is a great place to swim and hangout. The boat lift and boat ramp being close by made our boating experience that much better. We caught plenty of fish off the dock and cruised the lake as well. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place with amazing views!
It was great! We went swimming from the dock, kayaked and paddle boarded in the day and fished at night catching a few catfish. The house was very clean and had all necessities. Very close to a lot of places to eat and grocery stores. Owners we very helpful and quick to respond. Would love to come back soon!
