This is the second time I have stayed here and loved both times. Nice and clean and cozy.

Inside the property was nice as seen in the pictures. We had a nice tbeach was only a short drive

Clean, quiet, and cozy, great location, away from the crowds but yet so close to everything you could want or need!! Kitchen could use a small stand-alone cabinet or credenza a for dry foods and a bit more countertop space but otherwise it was an excellent experience!! Thank you for sharing your home with us, we look forward to coming back next year!!

We had an amazing experience. Exceptionally clean. The pictures do not do it justice. Newly remodeled and beautiful. Great communication with host. Perfect location for a quiet weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The inside of the house has been renovated so nicely. Everything was very clean, extra towels were provided, and the kitchen was stocked nicely.
Two suggestions - the mattress on the queen bed is awful. And I would trim the tree scratching on the roof of the house, makes a terrible sound.
Thanks for having us!

The house location is nice and quiet, the house common area was pleasant and the trees made the lot. However, it needs some attention to detail: umbrella was missing so there was no shade on the deck, towel count didn't accommodate the number of guests, no coffee filters or sugar, light over sink and ice dispenser didn't work, sand was in the dryer, dirt under the couch cushions and pull-out bed was not useable. It would be great if those items were addressed.

This is our third time staying at this property. Everything was clean and tidy, and the beach decor made us really feel like we were on vacation. The neighborhood is quiet and close to multiple key locations we visit when we come to the island. Thanks for a great stay!

My mom, sister and I have stayed here for the last 4 years. It’s the perfect spot to have a quiet, relaxing vacation while still at the beach. Lindsay and her husband are great hosts! We can’t wait to go back next year!

Me and three of my friends wanted a weekend stay at the beach and definitely chose the right house! Beautifully decorated clean house, we loved every minute in it and would definitely book it again

The property is in a great location in respect to the town if you don't mind a short walk/bike ride! Also it gives a good view of the water and light house. Place is very nice and would love to visit again!

The house itself is really nice - very cozy, clean and comfy and the neighborhood is quiet. Easy access to things to do and to Assateague Island. I thought the info about the view was misleading, however. While I could see the lighthouse through a break in the trees, there was absolutely no view of the Assateague channel or way to access it as part of the experience. What little there was to see was blocked by the house in front of it and the cars parked there. I would recommend taking the feature of the Assateague sound view off the listing, but leave the light house view. I would also recommend labeling the scenic pictures included with the house photos so that guests do not get confused and think those are the views they will see from the house.

We had a great time in Chincoteague in this lovely little cottage! It was very nicely decorated and a perfect getaway for my husband and me. Thanks for sharing it with us!

We enjoyed our stay for the most part but the pictures and description were a bit misleading. You aren’t actually on the bay like described and actually sit back behind other houses. The house appeared clean, but after further inspection it could really use a deep cleaning. We did like the convenience of the location and overall the house was perfect for us.

Peaceful and extraordinarily well appointed location to enjoy some downtime.

No complaints. The cottage was very nice, perfect for us, four adults, two children under five. Would not hesitate to book this property again!

Comfortable and nicely updated property in a convenient, quiet location. We enjoyed hours on the deck (we brought a fan expecting summer insects). The kitchen was well equipped. Bike rentals are a five minute walk from the house.

We took full advantage of the broad back deck (with lots of mosquito repellent) and the grill with the lighthouse just peeking through the pine trees. Well equipped, very clean and quiet.
Spacious with good internet access so we were both able to work remotely when not on the beach. It will be our first choice in the future.
Only con was the queen bed in the bedroom was too soft for our taste and the frame too large for the room so getting in and out of bed was difficult. But with the other sleeping options we will have plenty to try out on our next visit.
Host was responsive to our messages and check-in and check-out were simple.

Lovely home, with lots of space. Super clean throughout. Very quiet area, near marsh across from lighthouse (though limited lighthouse view). Nice large deck to sit out on in the evenings, if there is a breeze to keep bugs away. Loved everything about the home. Didn't quite work perfectly for us, since one of the larger beds is a pullout in the living room, so not private, but still comfortable. Queen bed in main bedroom is against the wall, so a little hard to get out of, but is comfortable. Washer/dryer is nice. Kitchen is well stocked (pots, pans, etc) for our needs. Would definitely consider staying again. THANK YOU!!

The property is lovely--a wonderful place to stay! We really enjoyed having a "home away from home" for our short week in Chincoteague. 5/5 stars!

For the past few years several branches of my family have gotten together in Chincoteague and rented a big house together for a long weekend. This year we outgrew that house and opted to get a second smaller house close by for the overflow. I came across this property and decided to give it a shot. We were pleasantly surprised! It was a very hotel-like experience. Checking in was super easy and convenient. Linens and towels were provided, all white, which means they can get washed and bleached, and makes me feel a whole lot better about using them! LOL They provided a small coffee pot and dishes for your convenience. We made small breakfast while there and the pans were GREAT! Besides the mosquitos, which are horrible everywhere on the island, the only down side for me was the main bed as I think it may be a memory foam mattress. It was very uncomfortable for my husband and I as we both prefer and are accustomed to a firm mattress. Our children, who are older, had no complaints about their beds. I would still recommend this house and very seriously consider for any future stays!

Everything in the house is new and clean. It’s just a short drive to the beach. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The owner is responsive and helpful. Overall a very nice place to stay.
Note: There is a small view of the water, but it is partially blocked by other houses in front of this one.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage, it was the perfect size for our family of three. It was located in a great area-close to the marsh and just a bike ride/short walk to the dock and local outfitters shop where we rented kayaks and bikes (would highly recommend Chincoteague Island Outfitters). The cottage was very clean and had a lot of coastal charm.

As stated in multiple reviews, this property was awesome. It was clean as promised. We wanted to visit the National Wildlife Refuge and this was the perfect place to stay to make that happen. Our family had so much fun. We will definitely come back!
