This was the most beautiful space for our stay in west Seattle. The house has character and charm, and feels very welcoming - we felt right at home. The outdoor space is stunning for a slow morning cup of coffee and chats with friends. We loved it!

The house and yard are beautiful. Hosts provided lots of books and games to keep visitors busy. Communication with Tom and Carolin was very quick and easy.

Our daughter was married at the Normandy Park beach area. We were able to provide hospitality for East Coast guests. We chose it for proximity to venue, ferry, and walking areas. It was perfect. We spent most of our time on the patio enjoying the weather and landscaping, especially the hydrangeas.
House was very well appointed with everything we needed. We loved having the windows open for cross ventilation.
The bedrooms were beautiful. The artistic touches around the house were delightful.
Thanks again. We loved it.

We were a group of 10 family, came to celebrate a granddaughters graduation from Univ of Washington. Enjoyed our time together in this great VRBO. Hosts were wonderful and the home+backyard garden were ideal for everyone from 2-78 years old! Thank you Carolin & Tom!

From start to finish this house was perfect for our extended family of 13. The house itself gave everyone their own space and something to do for the kids. We stayed for 2 nights prior to our cruise and the hosts were very accomadating. Very easy to hop on and off the bus with the stop right in front of the house. And the cafe up the block had great food and coffee. Highly recommended this house if going to Seattle.

We visit our son and his family every year and this year we thought it would be fun to have a staycation...it was a huge success. The location worked out perfectly for us! I could walk my granddaughter to her school, walk to Lincoln Park (amazing!! fun for all ages!!), or run up to the corner store for needed items (they even had corn starch).
The home itself was also great. The bedrooms were comfy, bathrooms great, and with 4 levels, fun for the kids to explore. The g-kids couldn't believe there were TV's in every bedroom, a special treat for them. They also loved the large bathtub in the master bedroom, our 3 yr old wanted to take a bath every night!
I like to cook and this kitchen had almost everything I needed, many more gadgets than any VRBO I've stayed at over the past 14 years. Old school kitchen but loaded with the pots, pans, blenders, etc that you might need.
Tom and Carolin were great! We were greeted with a refrig with our favorite yogurt and water, and a basket full of snack bars that our gkids loved!
For us, it was the perfect family experience!

The perfect house for our large family ranging in age from 5 to 70. C-line bus access was so convenient to get downtown. Loved the home, and location in a nice neighborhood with a short walk to the beach. Hosts were awesome. Would highly recommend!

We loved this place and highly recommend it!
Beautiful home chuck full of character - renovated but in keeping with 100+ year age of the home. We found the owners fantastic to deal with. Tom met us on arrival, gave us practical information and interesting history on the home. We truly appreciate what was set up for guest use on our arrival - from towels and linens to coffee and snacks.
Also, we found the location outstanding. Express Bus downtown stops literally right outside the door!

We spent a week at this property celebrating thanksgiving with our family. The beach was with in a short walk, restaurant was around the block and a small store for take out or other needs. For a house being this old the heating system was very good and never had a problem with enough hot water for baths/showers. The house itself was very comfortable and in a very nice neighborhood.

We had eight guys in town for the football game, and it slept all of us comfortably. Within walking distance, there was an incredible park on the shoreline, and a few great food options. The owner met us as we arrived, and had even baked some fresh cookies for us.
While the football game didn’t go our way, the house made our weekend perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at The Wildwood while attending a wedding in Seattle. Our two children with their spouses and three granddaughter ages 3 to 7 joined us. Tom and Carolin have prepared an incredibly warm, welcoming home, beautifully appointed and cozy. Besides an appealing playroom with children's library, they had prepared an outdoor fishing game (that entertained them for hours) and a fun squirrel artwork scavenger hunt indoors. There is plenty of parking in the long driveway, the neighborhood is beautiful and a beach walk a few blocks away. It is close to one of Seattle's most popular breakfast spots, we also enjoyed breakfast around the large, lovely dining table. We were all extremely happy with the wonderful, comfortable stay. Thank you, Tom & Carolin

Our company came to the Wildwood B&B for a few days together. It far exceeded expectations. The house is large, clean, and beautiful. We were always comfortable - there was more than enough space to work and live without being on top of each other. The hosts couldn't have been nicer. Carolin is a pastry chef and left us some butter cookies, which were amazing. The fridge was stocked with yogurt, sparkling water, and other essentials. Everything worked great, and although we weren't able to really explore West Seattle due to work commitments, we had a couple of nice meals at spots that were less than a block away. Also, there's a bus stop just out front, so anyone who wants to get into Seattle has a cheap and easy way to do so. I will DEFINITELY return if life or work brings me back to West Seattle! Thanks, Tom, for such a great stay!

We had a party for 7 adults for our stay at Wildwood and couldn’t have been more pleased.
The property was gorgeous and the feel of history throughout the home was wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about this property.
Our host’s were amazing and there to answer any and all questions and even gave us great suggestions for a fabulous dinner within walking distance for anyone ( just right up the block)
It’s just a short walk down the hill to the ferry and there is a quaint little beach there beside it to take in beautiful sunsets.

We were a group of 10 going on a cruise to Alaska. We wanted to explore Seattle for a few days and have enough room in the evening to gather. This house was perfect. Tom and Caroline were extremely accommodating and answered all my questions (which were numerous). Would absolutely recommend staying here!

We are here from IN visiting family and friends for a few days. Carolin & Tom's beautiful 5-bedroom, 5-bath property was the PERFECT place to reunite! We were greeted with freshly baked delicious butter, cookies, and a thorough tour of the property. We love to cook, and the well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals for 10! In the mornings we dined outside, and in the evening we dined in the spacious dining room. The bedding and linen were fresh and new. The decor was fun. The house was spotless. The gardens are beautiful. Thank you Carolin and Tom. A friend who joined us for dinner last night is already interested in booking a future stay!

Plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group that was in West Seattle for a wedding. A bonus was some toys for the kids to play with. Beautiful yard and outdoor space.

Our family of 13 had an outstanding stay at The Wildwood. Great location as a bus stop was in front of the house and restaurants a short distance away. The yard of the home was so peaceful and beautiful. The best VRBO home I have seen with how it was furnished with amenities. The kids loved the ice cream to make milkshakes that Tom and Carolin provided. The kitchen was just like we were at home!!!!! My only concern is The Wildwood may have spoiled us!!!!!!!!!

We had a lovely time at this home. There was something for everyone to do and many places to go to explore in the house. There were games, puzzles, a book corner for the kids, a scavenger hunt, and the rooms were beautifully decorated.

Tom and Carolyn greeted us with open arms (and amazing homemade cookies). Was happy to see how much pride they took in their former B&B, their beautiful yard and comfortable accommodations. We visited during the summer with my family of 5 (ages from 20 to 65) to visit downtown Seattle and Mt Rainier. It was very convenient to walk a few steps outside of the VRBO and wait a few minutes for the bus. 20 minutes later we were at Pike’s Market. We also visited the Mariners game by public transport.
The only thing that I missed in the listing was the lack of A/C in the VRBO. During the cooler months I imagine it’s wonderful to keep the windows open. The two bedrooms upstairs do get warm in the summer so multiple fans were necessary for this Florida family.
The restaurant across the street was so good (everyone enjoyed the food) and convenient which was much needed after being exhausted from traveling across the country.
We would definitely stay here again just to drink our morning coffee among the beautiful hydrangeas on the side porch or to eat Carolyn’s homemade maple pecan cookies! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We where a party of 12 adults. So convent and easy to use the the rapid transit C line bus that stopped right at the end of the driveway and took us right to T Mobile Park. The beds where comfortable but the fold out coaches where uncomfortable for a adult to sleep on. The kitchen was well equipped and everyone really enjoyed their stay, the outdoor patio and gardens were a haven to sit and relax after the crowds of the baseball games. Hats off to Tom and Carolin for the beautiful job they did on decorating and renovating their house and property.

We had an amazing stay! The house is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. They really go above and beyond as far as amenities in the house, even having ice cream in the freezer so we could use the milkshake machine! (disclaimer: I don't know if that's all the time or we got lucky, but either way it's an example of the increased hospitality.
This place is GREAT for multiple families. It almost has separate apartments on different floors. We had 3 different families in the house and it was perfect.
It is also WONDERFUL for kids. My kids (2 & 4) absolutely loved this place. They have a bunch of yard games and toys and books for kiddos. The dollhouse in the basement was just such a hit.
And the neighborhood is perfect. We loved exploring Alki beach nearby and the other large park nearby. The bus stop is right outside and takes you all the way to right by the stadiums downtown so it's a great place to stay for any events. We were in town for the all star game and it was just the perfect mix of being in a lovely neighborhood but with close access to the city.
We love this place and very much appreciate the great communication and hospitality, they made us feel very welcome. We will definitely return if we have the opportunity. Thank you!!!!!

Ten family members stayed for two nights pre-cruise. The house is centrally located between the airport and the cruise port. We caught the city bus right in front of the house to visit downtown Seattle. The owner is very personable and knowledgeable about the area. The house and garden are perfect, quaint, and stunning!! You cannot go wrong staying here..

We have stayed in multiple homes and Wildwild exceeded our expectations in all categories. Truly a family home where you felt like you had lived in the house your whole life.
In a city like Seattle you can be intimidated by the traffic but wefelt in an ideal location to easily accessed all of our day trips.
An amazing place for ages 2=75.

10 adults gathered from 3 states to spend a few days in Seattle prior to taking an Alaskan cruise. The house worked well for our needs overall. We did have 2 80+ aged members of our group, so the only drawback was no bedroom/bath on the first floor, but they managed the stairs slowly. Compared to other similar listings, this house had fewer steps to get into it and, with a powder room on the first floor, they managed well. I cannot say enough about the yard and landscaping! Stunning! So many flowers in bloom when we were there and ripe strawberries on the front lawn were some of the sweetest we ever ate! Very attentive owners and responded very quickly to any communication through VBRO site. Highly recommend and would stay here again without hesitation.

We had a wonderful time staying in the Century Old House Endolyne, in West Seattle. This is a wonderfully situated place in West Seattle with the bus line to downtown Seattle literally outside the front door, the ferry terminal to Vashon Island across the street, Lincoln Park and Puget Sound a short walk away, a small market and a WS favorite restaurant around the corner. The home and yard are spacious and the hosts' attention to detail is remarkable, with the wildwood theme in every room, and on every bookshelf. Our group of six had no complaints at all. Highly recommended.

We previously lived near this West Seattle neighborhood for 9 years and returned to catch up with friends. It was a great pleasure to stay at Wildwood, a home that exudes charm! We appreciated the warm welcome from Tom and Carolin and thoroughly enjoyed every detail they have lovingly restored and created throughout this remarkable house.
My husband and I stayed at Wildwood for two wonderful weeks while entertaining different groups of friends. Literally every person who visited wanted to tour the property, and they were very impressed with the perfectly themed decor, the coziness of each space, the thoughtful amenities and so much more! We played games at the large dining table while also savoring Lincoln Park walks, conversations and meals with our loved ones in this perfect location. Those who stayed overnight didn’t want to leave, which was also how we felt.
It might be helpful to note that we now travel full time while staying in a wide variety of properties. We are quite particular since each rental is our temporary home and Wildwood exceeded our expectations. This was one of the most comfortable, clean and charming places we have experienced! Tom and Carolin were top-notch communicators and the best of the best hosts. Thank you for sharing Wildwood with others!

We travelled to Seattle with our 5 twenty something kids. The house was great - the main bedrooms were spacious, the living room and dining room had lots of room for us, the basement TV room was great for college football bowl games and the food truck around the corner was a huge added bonus. Tom and Carolin were great hosts and had the house all set for us, even down to having cream our morning coffee waiting in the fridge. We’d recommend the house for sure!
