We had a wonderful stay. The house fit us perfectly, we had 10 adults. The location was great as we rented sxs from Rec Springs and toured Deadwood. The house was spacious for all of us to sit back, relax and play games! Wonderful weekend!

We enjoyed our family Christmas at Annie Creek Lodge. It was the perfect space for our family to enjoy time together and it was close to Lead and Deadwood which was convenient!

We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas at Annie Creek Lodge. We had everything we needed in this beautiful property. I was especially impressed with the prompt snow removal that allowed us to continue our planned activities. The house was decorated for Christmas which made it even more special. We will stay again!

Our cabin was clean, roomy, and comfortable! I would definitely recommend it! We will stay again!!

When u have 12 to 14 people in one house and enough groceries for a week another freg. Would be a huge benefit.
The WiFi only worked sometimes we would have to reset the router and at that most of us had to use are hot spots on r phones.
Parking was horrible we had to pay to park at Terry Peak $200
for the week, wow an addition we had no idea we were going to have to pay. With that being said we would never stay in that area again.
The house was beautiful but parking sucked.
The hot water heater, water was never hot enough for showers.

Great location and overall good stay. The WiFi did not work the entire time and did not get a response to requests.

Wonderful place to stay with all the amenities and very comfortable for 10 adults to stay!

Beautiful property and excellent space. Highly recommend for a stay in the Black Hills!

Had 4 couples staying at house. Plenty of privacy and accommodations were excellent

Overall very good. There were a couple nits. The door to the room I stayed in downstairs wouldn't close, and the reading lights were dead. The ceiling fan in the living room wobbled just enough to click the pull chains together, which was annoying at night.

Loved it

The property was great. It was clean and had beautiful views. The only complaint would be that when we arrived there were still trash bags from the previous guest and only one outdoor garbage can with the garbage bags sitting exposed next to it. The next morning, there were animals and dogs that were going through the garbage. We called our property manager and they did come out later in the day to pick up the garbage, but there was still only one garbage can.
Besides the issue with the garbage bags and garbage can, the entire stay at the property was wonderful.

Had 11 adults and 2 teenages, found beds for everyone. For the most part the cabin was clean and very nice. The few exceptions were the pull out couches, and under the beds (dust bunnies) I had to vacuum off the mattress before making the couch iinto a bed. Pillows are flat so bring your own. Hot tub is small and had some issues keeping it hot enough. There is a foosball table in the loft upstairs which was played alot!!! But it might work better if it was in the basement as it echoed and we couldn't visit if we were in the living room and after a while it was too much noise. The tack strips on the steps and by the basement door kept poking us, so may need to fix that. Wifi was awful, we had two college kids who needed to finish up summer classes and it was hit and miss. Couldn't get the Netflix to work it just sat and spun for the most part. They have huge TV's in each room but could get channels. Overall we enjoyed our stay, would definitely rent this again.

Great Property with just a few issues.
Great property other than the parking was quite limited. We also cleaned up garbage around the perimeter that was left by others so that we were not blamed for this. The carpet installation on the stairs needs to be inspected as on numerous occasions the tac strips cut peoples feet. The inside of the property was nice and clean when we got there and very comfortable with a fantastic view!
4.9
Nice size bedrooms for a large group of adult couples and sufficient bathrooms for everyone! We went with the intention of riding side by sides but it was cold and snowy, the cabin had a great fireplace and living room where we could all hang together!

Lots to love with this Annie's Creek property starting with the modern amenities and scenic location. Rooms were all well appointed and very comfortable. Great communication from management and very easy check-in/check-out process.
We've given up hotel vacations and part of the reason is to cook family meals together at the beginning and end of the day. While the kitchen had modern, updated appliances and a wonderful island at which to eat, the provided cookware was not up standards for a higher end vacation rental. It's an easy $100 fix and I hope that would be considered for future guests.
The scenery is very dramatic but this is an area that seems to be under considerable development. Our wonderful deck view was filled with the sounds of hammers, saws, and lumber being thrown about most days. I'm sure when the surrounding construction is done it will be idyllic. We had some significant winter weather during our stay and ran into the issue that some guests have noted of impassable roads. This property is at the top of Terry Peak and a skier/snowboarder's dream location. However, with it, you get the extremes of whatever weather the area is experiencing. In our case, it was an early spring, severe winter storm that made driving nearly impossible. Just be sure that you're prepared for that during the months when snow is possible in the area. We really appreciated the fast response we received from management when calling for plow assistance to get out of the development though a snow shovel on-site would have been a welcome addition as well.
Since we came to view the national monuments/memorials and other nearby attractions, we quickly realized that the location is a good 1-1.5 hours (one way) on very well-maintained, paved mountain roads from both Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. We didn't mind the drives as the scenery is absolutely breathtaking and if you are there for the winter sports vs. tourist destinations, it's absolutely the right place to be. And, if you do have a taste for a fancy meal and some adult fun, Deadwood is just a hop, skip, and a jump from the property.
Our family had a great time at Annie's Creek and we're certain that, with due consideration of what we've shared, you'd have a great time as well.

This cabin fit our group’s needs perfectly!! Super clean, stocked with lots of towels, kitchen necessities, etc. There is a tv in every room and common space I believe, which is a nice touch! The house is spacious and pretty quiet even with a large group (we even traveled with an infant and the noise never kept her up). The fireplace and hot tub were a hit with our bunch, and the views are great!! Sleeper sofas in two of the common spaces were a plus since we had a small group of young boys who all wanted to bunk together! A super short and convenient drive to the ski area. My only recommendation for travelers is to be aware of which seasons you are booking. The cabin sits on a pretty decent hill and we witnessed 3-4 cars being towed up since they couldn’t make it themselves (4WD or AWD is handy with fresh snow/ice covered hill). Check in and out was a breeze and clearly outlined. The neighborhood was quiet even with large groups all around. Would definitely stay here again!! The whole group kept commenting on how pretty it was, and that the set up was perfect for our group!!

5 couples (my wife and 4 siblings/spouses) stayed here at the end of June for my brother's memorial and burial in Rochford. The home is smartly designed to allow for large gatherings and meals on the main floor kitchen and living area and also provide private, smaller areas as well (upstairs landing and lower level). Upper and lower levels have two spacious BRs with full bath. Main floor has master bath and 1/2 bath near kitchen.
Views to the back are Black Hills gorgeous. Wonderful sunsets and excellent stargazing. We had a few hiccups upon arrival that were immediately resolved with a call to Property Management. There are a couple of things I would recommend to owner. 1) Replace the BBQ grill. It has seen better days and required considerable cleaning before we used it. 2) Larger or second coffee maker. With 12 coffee drinkers it was a challenge to keep up. Maybe even adding a coffee air-pump thermos would be the solution. Not a big deal, but suggested.
My brothers and sisters all sent me their gratitude for finding such a great house. One even shared with his son how much he liked and his son requested a link to look at for a possible group gathering in the spring.
Thank you for sharing your home.
