We had the cutest little cabin, it was perfect for my 6yr old and I. I loved that the cabin had a detachment from technology, it made my son and I bond more while we were on the property. The view was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

The cabin was clean and had a/c.
The driveway was gravel and there was quite a hill to our cabin. This was difficult on large motorcycles.

Clean and quiet ambience
Travel distance going to Mt. Rushmore or Badlands

Awesome location and great views. Very nice new owners who are improving the property
This isn’t a didn’t like, just an observation. The cabins are definitely showing thier age and inexpensive construction designed to be used for 2 weeks out of the year by Sturgis motorcycle Rally folks. Ie a place to shower and sleep only. The new owners are hard at work making improvements to make this a longer stay seasonal and possibly year round location to stay while exploring the Sturgis area. We will stay here again.

The view is amazing and love it is family run camping area.
Our cabin, I think, was in the process of being redone. The floor was soft in areas, drywall tape was peeling, linoleum was curling up in the bath. The hotwater heater also serves as a nightstand.

The view.
Cabin was one step above a tent. Looks like the whole place needs work to improve the stay. Hope they will improve the cabins. Maybe add WiFi ? Would be very good with a little effort to update.

Very quiet.
Nobody to help with check in. Didn't know where to go or who to talk to. No welcome email or anything. Waited at least 15 minutes before someone helped us. Didn't answer the phone or reply to my message or email stating we were here and waiting for help with check in.

Loved how comfortable and friendly the place was. The area was beautiful to look at and the owners were amazing!
One minor thing was the small water heater but it's nothing to be upset over.

The people that are running it are super nice. Great place close to town. The view was good except for the smoke which is everywhere.

The location was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Cabins are basic and very clean. Would highly recommend Eagles Landing. It's location made it nice and quiet. View was great. Felt very safe. I liked everything about this campground.
The property was recently purchased and the owners are working very hard to get it updated and in tip top shape. There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. I arrived after dark and had a little trouble finding the turn off. I called and they were very helpful guiding me in.
The mattress was O.K. but could have been a little more comfortable.

This area books up like crazy! It's in Sturgis, but close to Deadwood and Mount Rushmore and all the attractions. If you are looking for a rustic, no-frills, cheap rate, this is your place. Clean, the hosts were awesome, and the location was easy to see it all.
It's very rustic. They are in the process of updating everything, so think "better than a tent" and be grateful.

Everything else. From the moment I pulled in on Thursday until I pulled out Sunday morning it was awesome. The people were friendly and it is far enough off the path to not have alot of noise. New owners and you can tell. They are working hard on cleaning up and getting this place to its potential.
The only thing I didn't like was the bed

The owners and their family were very nice.
Bugs in the buildings. I told them and they went in and sprayed stuff. Idk if we should have stayed out for awhile or not, but they never said to. The bugs were in there and alive the entire 2 nights that we stayed. They were box elder bugs. The couple that stayed next to us one night said they were in there place too.

It felt like home. I loved that the towels and bathroom had a more home feeling to it. Along with the beds.
I didn't like that there was no TV. My kids were pretty bored. We did end up watching it rain outside which was pretty fun and an amazing view.

We enjoyed our stay and will return the next time we come to visit the area. This location is perfect to do the touristy things the Black Hills has to offer; you’re about an hour from most sites. It’s a simple basic cabin but we were out visiting the Badlands, Deadwood, Crazy Horse, and Mount Rushmore. We were at the cabin primarily in the mornings and to sleep. Our stay was at the end of June and it was peaceful and quiet.
No fire pit, but we’ll live!

The place was priced wright for the amenities it had which were few. The place was clean and the owner was very accommodating with our late arrival. the lodge is of the beaten track but it worked for us. We only used the place for a nights rest and our purpose was served.
The water pressure is wanting making showers a little rought but we got the job done.

Could have a microwave in the cabin

Every thing. Everyone is very nice and friendly. The location was very peaceful. The cabins have plenty of room.
No complants.
