The staff was wonderful and the place was so clean!!

All the staff including the guards with special mention to Alex Pimentel is exceptional in service. The breakfast is good. They changed the linens as often as requested.
The mattress is sinking in the center - needs to replace it ASAP. There’s no hairdryer.

I was surprised at how big the rooms were (but dark). We actually realized we booked way too much room for our needs and I am glad the staff was able to downgrade our reservation without penalty. Included breakfast is a nice feature and pretty decent options are available.
This hotel came recommended by a famous guidebook and I can't understand why. It is way past its prime.
It's far from everything and it takes forever to get to Santa Ana both by car and with public transport. The staff is of very little use when it comes to planning your stay, activities, how to get somewhere, etc.
Now the worst part. If you are traveling with family, kids, stay away. The pool looks icky at best. During our 4 day stay, I did not see once someone clean it or attend to it. For some reason, the staff thinks you want to sleep in a bar and will blast you with loud (and boring), dance music/reggaeton from 7:00 in the morning to past 11:00 at night. WHY???? Why would you think I want to hear that even before I get out of bed? Why would I want the same loud beat over and over during breakfast? It is like torture.

The staff was amazing, and helpful. However they are treated poorly.
Owners don’t seem to properly care for the property, pool has build up on the bottom of some type of green particles looks like old algae. It was there for everyday of our stay. Rooms are way too expensive to only be provided 1 kind of cheap soap and no toiletries, in addition to being too small and have no safe or fridge. Beware of the car rental, as we were provided a vehicle on its last life, was given to us with no gas and barely clean. Not to mention having many damages already that we had to pay for (we took a video of it just in case before it was given to us as I had a feeling they would try to pin it on us and that they did) so they charged us for car damages. food was good, never had everything on the menu and it was always the same thing. They should at-least provide us with free juice/water for our meals but only gave us free coffee, everything outside of breakfast has to be made for. Staff was friendly and helpful but owners seem to be rude, unhelpful and did not want to come in person to face the truth or be proven wrong. Rooms needed maintenance, the sheets had stains on them and the drains smelled awful.

My favorite part was that there was a table in the pool to eat, drink, and read!

Great breakfast included, staff was very friendly, easy check-in, on-site parking is available. Common areas were nicely decorated.
Room was fairly rustic which is ok for the price. We had no water in the morning, not sure if it returned as it was our last day. Bathrooms by the front desk were not clean.

friendliness, they were very accommodating! we first got a crappy room with spiderwebs because of the booking discount. but Sergio upgraded us for only $10! gave us better wifi.
food was good! I would definitely go back to this place.
the pool is right in front where ppl are eating and checking in.. its not a very comfortable location.

I really liked the super nice and caring staff. They were so friendly all the time. Apart from the really nice Ambiente, it has a beautiful view. Also the food and drinks were really good.
nothing.

The view from the room and the bed were great
The food was terrible. Personnel personalities were dry.

It may be one of better accomodation options in Santa Ana, though it doesnt change the fact it is very rudimentary and of rather lower quality. Probably the restaurant may be an exception, which I didn’t try, but saw many locals coming over from outside just to dine out there.
The room is small, not very well cleaned (you can easily see smears on the floor), warm water not easily accessible (only under the shower, and only if you figure out how to switch on a special device loosley attached to the douche) and stuff more hesitant to be helpful (not to mention that initially they wanted to charge my cards 11k usd instead of 110usd because they mixed dot with coma on the payment terminal😦)

The themed rooms are cool. Food is really good in restaurant; the staff is very friendly.
Water doesn’t get hot. Small lizards and bugs in room. Swimming pool has too much debris in it.
